Beginning July 1st 2023 our Saturday hours will be 7am-2pm and we will close for the full day on Sundays for the remainder of the season. This is a really nice garden supply place. The employees are great and are very helpful with your questions and needs. This visit, I needed a propane tank refill and was helped immediately! My tank gets fully refilled (unlike an exchange tank) and the price is great! This is now my go to place for my garden needs.
Bruce is so knowledgeable. He spoke to us for so long explaining in detail everything we needed to know about planting and seeding and why. So friendly and so helpful. Saved us from spending a lot of money we didn’t need to with all his knowledge. Great nursery.
The Mother Earth staff is so nice and helpful! They started raising chickens around the same time as I did so it's been fun sharing stories and experience.

I’ve been coming to Mother Earth’s for the past few years, ever since I moved to the area. The staff are excellent and knowledgeable, and I’ve picked up everything from soil, to propane, to my chickens from them! Always kind and above and beyond helpful, and always are fully stocked with what I need! Can’t recommend them enough, and it feels great supporting a local family business!
Excellent Nursery!! The owners and staff are extremely friendly every time I go to the Nursery. I'm always looking for interesting rocks for my Landscape Design projects. Mother Earth Nursery has a Great Selection of Rocks which I just used recently in a meandering path which was featured on the cover of "House Magazine". The nursery also has some Great Stone Lanterns which I placed in the landscape used for the cover issue too...
I have to say I'm impressed with the service. I ordered six cubic yards of soil, they delivered it the same day, at approximately the time they estimated that morning. They were nice each time I stopped in. And the delivery driver was even courteous. He dropped the soil precisely, while navigating an obstacle, which allowed us to still park our cars in the driveway. I haven't found much glass in their product, maybe one or two pieces. I'm still finding glass in their competitor's mix, which I purchased last year. Also missing is large pieces of uncomposted organic material, which means Mother Earth Agway must be screening their soils somewhat. This is nice. I had a bit of trouble with my soil, so I had it tested. I presented the results to Mother Earth's and they've worked with me to make it right. They even gave advice on ways I can improve my garden. Once again, great service.
No one else has pansies because of the March snowstorms but they had beautiful purple ones at decent prices Now my daughter's Easter party at her school; which consisted of the kids planting purple pansies in pots, will be a great success!! Thanks

Friendly staff, stayed true to their word and called me when they got a chick shipment in. I cant believe they charged me $3 for a munchkin type box to take the chicks home, especially since I had a box in my truck. Hopefully dunkin donuts doesnt get wind of this! Their chick prices are much higher (almost double) than most others on Long Island but the chicks were healthy and happy and vaccinated against Maerks disease.

Loved it here! Got organic Long Island top soil, compost and manure mix for my garden. They even carried it to my car for me!

A great find for East Northport always have what you need I went in looking for portulaca and they ordered it for me and the marigolds are keeping the deer away from my plants
I saw what I needed on their website and called to verify that it was in stock. My call was answered promptly by a live person who was polite and helpful. As soon as I arrived at their location the garden worker asked what I needed, directed me to park next to the pallet of the item, and loaded the bags into my car. He then radioed ahead to the checkout area where they were ready for me to complete my purchase. A+

Great place for landscape supplies. Top soil is the best around. Ive purchased everything from mulch to Moss Rock and diving stones for some of my pool patio projects.

The staff is fantastic and helpful. I purchased a few mosquito repellent plants as well as some lettuce and tomatoes. They carried my items to my car for me. The veggies are all doing well and we enjoy them at dinner. I think there are much fewer mosquitoes biting me recently...which is a huge relief!
The owners are the nicest and know their stuff. So much better than any big garden centers.

Since i bought my first house 20 years ago, to now, Mother Earths has been consistently great. My needs now are more from a Professional standpoint and they never disappoint. On time deliveries, great selection and great people. Cant ask for much more than that!

Got a great deal on a beautiful Christmas tree and got my propane tank for our barbecue refilled at the same time. All of which without having to leave the car! Their propane business is a scam. I just went to top off a half filled propane tank and coming home I found that they barely added any gas.
