Jay and his team were such a pleasure to work with. They were fast, communicative and had very competitive pricing. I am so happy I found them and will be using them in the future! I Highly recommend!
After receiving several estimates for the removal and stump grinding of two large trees (oak and maple), cutting back a neighbors very large white oak encroaching largely over our property, we decided to give Jay Nolan (owner) of Nolan Tree Experts a shot as their price was the most fair and reasonable. We received a wide range of quotes. Jay beat the highest quote by more than half. Make sure you do your research and make Nolan Tree one of the estimates you receive. They are free and can't hurt to get several. Jay called the night before and said he would be arriving at 8am. On May 22, 2024, he and his crew arrived 20 minutes early, a rarity in dealing with contractors. He came with all of the right equipment for the job, including a bucket truck. The crew got to work quickly, wasting no time. They worked hard and straight through until around 12:15pm, that included the owner. He worked and got his hands dirty as well and just didn't sit there and bark orders. They stopped for a half hour lunch and then went right back to work. They worked until about 5:00pm. Nobody on the crew milked the job, they all worked hard and acted professionally. The communication was great. They worked efficiently, effectively and most importantly safely. Nobody got injured nor was any property damaged. They took as best care as they could as to not damage the lawn too much with their equipment and logs by putting down protection. They worked in tight quarters and skillfully cut and lowered large logs to the ground. They had a well-oiled assembly line process going and finished 95% of the work in one day. They returned the next day, on time, and promptly began work. They cleaned up the entire back yard very nicely all considering the size of the trees and the unexpected rain. The really large logs were stored out on the street for pickup by the logging guy, everything else was ground onsite. The team even cut down a couple small trees for us, grinding another stump and discarding everything without asking for any additional compensation. Give Jay a call for an estimate, I don't think you will be sorry.

Worths worth Nolan a few times and they are always easy to communicate with, honest. And do a great job! This time they even have me guidance on how to contact PSEG to do some of the tree removal and save me some money. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone for honest and quality services.
Nolan Tree Experts did an amazing job. Jay and his crew are professional and efficient. They pruned a large maple and a small dog wood on my property. They cleaned up all the debris from my yard with the precision and quality of a landscaper and their pricing is extremely fair for the service provided. I've been using Jay and his team at Nolan for years and can't recommend them enough! We have several large tress on our property and each year Jay personally comes and reviews each tree with us and makes his recommendation on what he thinks needs to be trimmed. He has also rescued our leyland cypress perimeter shrubs in the winter from the heavy snow. They are very knowledgeable and his entire staff is so accommodating and very easy to deal with. Their pricing is also very fair, unlike many other tree removal services in the area. My neighbors all use and love Nolan as well. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any of your tree trimming, removal or planting needs.
Showed up exactly on time. Worked very quickly and efficiently. I had a large tree removed, another large tree pruned and a couple of smaller trees pruned. The owner, Jason, is very kind, honest and reliable. The team cleaned up everything and were professional. I definitely recommend!

They just cut down my neighbors tree, left a mess in my yard and didn t even bother to come clean it up. And the tree cutter was wearing a T-shirt of another company! I found that out because I called him to complain and we figured out who the culprit was.. Very unprofessional and no pride... now I have to clean up their mess

Years ago our family cat was stuck in our tree for days. My wife posted on social media. Soon after Jason nolan and his crew came by and volunteered to help. One guy climbed the tree and saved the day. They are a bunch of stand up guys.

Hired Nolan Tree Removal to take out a few trees. Their price was great. They showed up on time (actually early) Their workers were polite, and professional. From start to a clean finish I was quite pleased and would gladly hire them again.
Amazing job done by Jay and his crew. These guys are so professional and efficient! Our dead trees are down and our big trees are cut back perfectly. They worked quickly to get it done and they cleaned up our yard better than any landscaper!!! We even have him coming back this week to remove more trees. Great service! They came by today to remove a tree by our pool and trim down a few others. Their service was great. They were in and out within about an hour including cleanup. Friendly and fast, I cant recommend them enough. Price was awesome as well.

They did a fantastic job. Before they started, Jason and his crew walked around with me and made sure they understood what I wanted them to do. Jason was super nice and patiently answered all my questions. He also noticed an exposed wire on the side of my house, which I hadnt seen, and encouraged me to have it fixed quickly so it wasnt a safety hazard. They brought three large trucks with clever license plates. The men worked quickly and efficiently. They were careful not to damage the neighbors fence which was next to one of the trees. They used a lift for that tree, but the second tree was in the back yard, so one of the men climbed the tree. The other men lifted some pretty huge logs to bring them to the wood chipper. It was pretty amazing to watch, and they let me take pictures and videotape them working. I also liked that Jason worked with his men. When they finished, they cleaned everything up nicely. The ground where the stumps were is now nice and flat, and they took care of any debris that had accumulated from the taking down of the trees. They also gave us a very fair price. I was very pleased with the work they did and I would highly recommend them.
