We had to fill in a large hole (about 6 yards of material) in my yard after we took a portion of our deck down. There s no access to get a machine in, so it needed to be done by wheelbarrow. Lou came to give me an estimate the same day I first called. He gave me a great price and kept me updated on when they would come to do the work. The day arrived and they showed up on time, were super nice guys, and did a great job! I plan to use them again for some other work I have planned. I would definitely recommend them!!!

What an amazing company! Lou and Angela made the removal of my in-ground pool a breeze. They explained everything in a clear and concise manner. They used clean fill and the grading of the top soil came out better than I expected. They even helped with the permit paperwork for the town. I would highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Field Stone Dirt Works to anyone! They were dependable, priced reasonably and very trustworthy. Lou Russo coordinated all the many moving parts from permits, electrical, to the entire excavation and completion of work. With his overseeing the stages of work I never had to be concerned. They excavated our in ground pool along with concrete removal, removal of old retaining wall and trees as well. Installed a new retaining wall and backfilled the area. Lou and his workers and office manager Angela were very accommodating, professional and always went the extra mile to ensure the work was completed on time. Outstanding job performed!

I had a great experience having my pool removed and filled up with dirt with Lou. Out of the few contractors I spoke with , he was by far the most patient and detailed with explanations on what he was going to do. He didn t let me haggle but he had the best price out of the ones I asked. So far nothing but honest and quality work. We hired FS Dirt Works to remove an inground pool for us. From the start Lou explained how the process would work. We had a sunken patio that was taking up a huge part of our yard and was unusable. Lou came and gave us a quote and price was great! Lou showed up on a friday and Roberto was in charge of our project. They worked hard to get this done and by monday the job was complete! All cement and cinder block were removed and then clean fill and compost were put in. They cleaned up when they were done and set our fence back in place. We now have a yard and a great area for a garden, we are beyond happy with how this job turned out. Everyday Roberto told us what the plan was for the day and the crew got it done. Lou was terrific to work with from beginning to end - totally responsive when we had an unexpected water problem - He came to drain the pool early at our request. He and his staff tailored the job to our specific needs - they brought extra loads of dirt because our pool took more dirt than usual to fill in. Angela, in the office, was also a pleasure to work with - She returned every phone call and conveyed every message - she even came over to the house to collect our paperwork to turn in to the Huntington Office so that we could get the okay to begin work in a timely manner. Overall, we had a superb experience and would highly recommend.

Lou and his team worked with the Town of Huntington on the paperwork, and on the necessary Town inspections of the work. The work was done impeccably, with only the leveled off, filled in hole as evidence that the work was done. Lou and his team work quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend their pool removal services, and they are exceptional. Their prices are reasonable, and Lou is wonderful to work with. A HUGE recommendation!!

I used Lou & his company to do excavating work. He came exactly when he said he would to give me the estimate. I needed him to level out a portion of my property that was impossible for me to mow. The hill was very high and I had already tipped over 2 lawnmowers trying to take care of it. I found FS Dirtworks on google and called immediately! I spoke to Lou. He came to take a look the same day & returned 1 week later to do the job. Lou is a very Happy, Friendly, & Fun Loving guy. Everyone these days are afraid to hire a contractor. I must put your worries to bed. I hired FS Dirtworks to remove a whole bunch of concrete from my backyard. I was worried about my driveway as they had to drive heavy equipment and dumpsters up and down it. Lou assured me that they would take great care in preserving it and they did.
