Creative Design Landscapes in East Hampton

This company is extremely unreliable, disorganized, overpriced, and dishonest. They have no problem taking your money in advance for projects and annual maintenance but they do have a problem actually showing up and doing what they were hired to do. It was impossible to get a hold of them by phone for weeks at at a time and even harder to get them to show up. Either they took on too many customers or they just dont care. When they actually did show up months later, they made so many mistakes. Then they tried to charge me for these mistakes! They shook my hand and guaranteed the plants for 1 year yet they did NOT stand by it. Most of the plants died within 2 months due to their lack of maintenance and care. They tried to charge me for the replacements and did not replace them for 3 months, which is the end of the summer. I hired them originally in March 2022 and paid them, but they did not start working until May 2022. The plants died in early July and they did not replace them until the end of August. They were very rude about their mistakes and refused to finish the rest of the work after I had paid them. Then they just refused to show up for maintenance after I paid them for the contract in advance. They basically just stopped coming. I read other reviews and this company seems to have a lot of complaints on Yelp and other review websites. I highly recommend that you do not use them.

CDL does great lawn and shrubbery work. They offer full service care and it shows with the grass greens up in the early spring and remains that way throughout the summer. They are very responsive to questions and requests. The only minor negative is that they are not inexpensive, but very few landscape companies are in the East End.

The guys- John and Henry- at CDL are great to work with, and their team, headed by their foreman, Joel, were responsive, on time, respectful and most importantly, very professional and extremely knowledgeable and talented in the execution of the plans. They designed and implemented a full property re-landscaping, including the driveway and front patio. The results have transformed our property in to an oasis for our family. I highly recommend them for any job that you might be considering.

I am very pleased with CDL and, particularly, Joel. If I had a complaint it would be that their services are very expensive. As a senior citizen, I must be careful with my expenditures, and I find that their invoices are very high. Truth is, though, CDL helped when I needed it; and I am delighted with their effort. The men were courteous and very helpful. they also did great work.

John and Henry created a new landscape design for our home and we could not be happier with the end result! They were a pleasure to work with and had great ideas. Our plan included moving trees, new plantings, removing a portion of our deck and replacing it with a stone retaining wall. The end result was a bigger and flatter backyard.

Found CDL through a friend late in the season, their pricing was competitive, the workers were efficient and the office staff was beyond wonderful. Looking forward to how wonderful my yard will look next year!!

Henry and John were awesome from start to finish! Good customer service is hard to come by in this day and age, and it was refreshing to have a team that was able to address all my concerns and maintain great communication and professionalism throughout the whole process. They truly care about the customer, and the quality of workmanship was well worth the money. Highly recommended!

Creative Design Landscaping is just that ....Creative!! They worked with my wife who is a Home & Garden TV addict and designed a beautiful slate waterfall around our pool and an awesome outdoor kitchen. I would recommend this company If you want to impress your friends and have a wonderful working relationship with the people creating, designing and building your dream backyard.
