Recently, my wife and I wanted to refresh our backyard and create a “healing space” for ourselves and family/friends who are visiting. We spoke with Brandon at Lighthouse Landscaping and he recommended TJ / Modern View Landscaping. We scheduled an appointment with TJ and he came by, took some pictures and gave us a reasonable quote. The date was confirmed and his crew, led by Franky, were on time and immediately started working. They reviewed the “scope of work” and began transforming our overrun planting bed into a serene space. Weeds and landscape fabric were carted away, and the bed was amended with a thick layer of clean cedar mulch (as we requested). Fantastic results received from a landscape professional!

Modern view landscaping saves the day! We needed a landscaping service to come last minute so one of my client's home's would be ready for pictures. This home needed to be photographed and listed the next day and modern view did not disappoint. They were on time and did a wonderful job! Highly recommend for landscaping. We recently used Modern View to perform a large backyard project including regrading, drainage, shed pad, stone, topsoil and seed. We couldn't be happier with the job done. TJ was quick to return calls and setup a day for an estimate. TJ arrived on time and brought along Bryan from Wagner Site Services who works together on larger jobs. Both were honest and professional about what needed to be done along with being very courteous. TJ and Bryan were very knowledgeable and came up with a plan to transform the yard. TJ coordinated with Bryan and they were able to get us on the schedule shortly after talking. The work was top notch and very professional with everything being left neat and clean when they finished. They answered any questions I had and were able to explain everything fully. We won't hesitate to call them for any of our landscaping needs in the future and highly recommend them for your next job.
Modern View Landscaping has been providing lawn service, clean up and aeration/seeding for the last 5 years. The crews always show up on schedule and adjust if there is a rain day. We will be continuing with their lawn maintenance program for many years to come.

Shaun and crew showed up promptly for our Spring cleanup. Shaun is very knowledgeable and courteous. He knows his trees also! They completed the property clean up including removal of dangling tree limbs, leaves and pruning of shrubs. They were professional and did not waste time completing the project in just a few hours. Highly recommend Shaun and the crew. TJ, the owner, was courteous and responded to calls and texts promptly also. And, the price was right! Very reasonable for the services offered and completed.

Recently used this service for a lovely paver patio/walkway and rock border around a new above ground pool. The owner of the business met with us and discussed our options, helped us visualize what we wanted. All of his suggestions were perfect. They are VERY DISHONEST!!!!! If you are going to choose this company for your lawn services you better markdown everytime they visit! They are scammers! I called to rectify my bill with owner TJ because they charged me for grass cuttings that never happened and this man had the nerve to tell me that they did. He didnt care weather or not he will be loosing a customer. I would not recommend them!
I can not be any more pleased with Modern View as a whole, their professionalism and the overall work they have completed in my yard. The workers were precise and did an amazing job on our new paver patio. We have booked them again once the winter is over to complete our landscaping. Highly recommended!

Hired TJ and his crew for a new paver patio job. His guys showed up every day on time and worked hard to complete the job within budget and on schedule, even in 90 degree weather and with a shortage in materials due to covid. But he found a replacement and the design looks even better than originally planned. Could not be happier with their service, absolutely will recommend to friends and family!

Modern View has been handling my landscaping for about a year and I couldnt be happier with the service they have provided. The workers are all professional and they really get the job done. I was quite happy with the positive transformation of my lawn throughout the season. During the Fall, Modern View was quick to get rid of all my leaves and discarded of them with their own equipment. Its a scam, they are not honest, they changed me for cutting grass every week but they didnt come more than twice a month. The owner is very rude man. Not recommended at all.

TJ and his crew are awesome! They have been cutting our lawn for the past 2 years and I couldnt complain. Theyve even given me great recommendations to help with flooding in the back corner of our backyard.

Beware!! This company is dishonest. I live out of state and have properties in NJ. Modern view landscaping was charging me for 5 visits per month and not going 5 times! I called multiple times and got no call back, and didnt get an return call until they didnt get paid. The quality of work was marginal as well. There was a tree that had died in the yard, and parts of the tree were dead and in the grass. Instead of throwing out or even moving the dead wood they just cut around it! For months! I never complain or write reviews, but after speaking with them, they offered no apologies and tried to defend cutting grass 5 times per month. They stated they only charged for 5 cuts if there was 5 weeks in that particular month.......but they charged for 5 cuts 3 months straight!! Sorry, buy that is stealing! I would recommend looking elsewhere for landscaping in NJ.
I recently bought a home in East Brunswick and Modern View has been cutting the grass and doing the leaf removal. I constantly receive comments on how beautiful our yard always look and how the upkeep is always done. The crew is friendly, quick and efficient!
