Craig did a job for me in the fall which went a little askew, but I did t notice the issue until a couple of months later (and waited another month at least to bring it to their attention because I m such a procrastinator.) Despite my delay in informing them, Craig was out in my yard today with a crew of at least 8 men working to make sure the job was done right. I would absolutely hire him again in a heartbeat.

Amazing staff and work!! Zana is a doll, she was always in great spirit and assisted with any questions or concern I had. I m completely satisfied with the quality of work by Craig and staff. I had 15 evergreen plants added to my front lawn and I absolutely love them. Everything was done quick and the staff cleaned up after installation. I will continue to use Craig s Landscaping in the future and recommend everyone to try them out as well.

I knew immediately upon meeting Craig that he is exactly who I wanted to perform the work and design of my front and back yards. After using Craig from a previous project we knew what to expect from him as far as quality, design and workmanship. Our latest project which included an existing pond and 15 year old landscaping removal. Other than the pond removal, we had very few wants and let Craig go with his vision and design which exceeded our expectations by far. His new vision included, paver walkway, patio area, all new shrubs and trees none of which are the same. Also drip irrigation and lastly LED lighting design which on its own is spectacular. It is a blessing to wake up every morning and to open the blinds to a truly backyard oasis. If you are thinking of using Craig, we can absolutely say you will not be disappointed.

Craig designed and installed a gorgeous border around my back yard. I am so pleased with the result. He transformed an empty square of nothing into a beautiful space. When guests and neighbors are clicking away photographs of the newly created landscapes in the back and front yards of your house and you hear comments like an oasis , a paradise , it s so calming and comforting , you know it s a job done extremely well and we agree ! Worked with Craig s company to reimagine our back and front yards in two phases. He visited our property multiple times before starting work, listened to what we wanted, gave us honest feedback on what may not work in our property s context and sent us artistic impressions of his visualizations. Once agreed, the execution is lightning fast, flawless and on time. He has a wonderful crew. During execution, Craig does make subtle changes to the original plans and the outcomes are even better. Once engaged he treated the project as if he was transforming his own property. He went out of his way to get us very mature, rare and beautiful trees. The first discussion we had with Craig convinced us that he was the right professional for our planned work and we did not feel the need to check with other landscaping companies. Craig and his team were excellent! During the initial estimate I had a great discussion with Craig where he helped us optimize the paver patio design for our backyard. When it came to installation his team was efficient and professional. One stand out item is how well they cleaned up the jobsite after completing the patio installation, it was excellent. Craig is the perfect landscaper. Now water does not pool in front of my house and seep into my basement THANKS TO CRAIG resolving our water drainage problems. He completely renovated our backyard in 2018, solved water problems there and every year it looks more and more beautiful. It looks stunning. We totally trust him, hes reliable, his workers professional and the job is completed quickly. But its Craigs artistic ability and TLC that I love most. He told me he loves his work and it really shows.

When we decided to update our backyard, we met with a few contractors but ultimately kept coming back to Craigs vision. He gave us exactly what we wanted and more. The crew was professional and finished the job in a week. Craig was on-site every day and answered all of our questions and concerns. Craig did an amazing job completely redesigning my backyard into a 5-star resort. He has great vision and 30+ years of experience with allow him to see what will work best in the space. He is truly an artist. Craig designed and built an outdoor kitchen and worked closely with the pool company (that he had recommended) and the concrete company (that he as worked with many times) to seamlessly integrate the beautiful landscaping. If I had to summarize dealing with Craig in one phrase, it would be exceeded expectations. It was a pleasure dealing with him from day one. He put together a plan of the backyard, really a vision, and broke it down into parts so that we could select any or all of it, as dictated by our budget. He described the parts really well, but hearing a description and seeing a drawing did not prepare us for how wonderful it would turn out. Craig directly supervises his excellent crew throughout the project, and you will be amazed at how quickly they are able to accomplish extremely high quality work. He pays attention when you have questions or concerns and addresses them in a very satisfactory manner. We will certainly be utilizing his services for any future landscaping projects.

They build massive stairs at my back yard, from start to finish Craig and his hard working crew were professional and did a great job, its been two months and everything looks as new the plants grew and blooming right now. Craig did a beautiful, magnificent design of both our front and rear yard, removing older out of date shrubs and creating a wonderful new balance look. His crew was very hardworking, skillful and pleasant. Craig was onsite from start to finish supervising every detail of the project.

Weve used Craig twice now and this most recent project blew us away. We purchased a home and wanted to redo the entire front landscaping. We needed someone that had great vision for design since things like symmetry and flow are very important to us. We had a good idea of what types of trees and plants we wanted and we met with Craig to discuss our overall vision. Landscaping by Craig has changed the personality of my front yard into a sanctuary in just a few hours. Most of my shrubs and ornamental high-maintenance tree were removed in a short time. He also gave part of my backyard a facelift. I knew my new landscape would include a variety of new shrubs, trees and accent plants accompanied by beautiful stones, rocks, accent lighting and a self-watering system but I did not realize to what extent the transformation would be. Craig and his crew did a phenomenal job to the front of my house. He answered all my questions and concerns and came through every time. The retaining wall in my driveway is especially stunning. We recently added an extension to our home and when the construction was done realized that something was missing. Although we had made our home more functional, the space and grounds surrounding our home looked tired and uninviting. So we called Craig to help us. My wife said, I want something beautiful to look at with a special seating area at the foot of our yard. Those were the only instructions. Craig transformed our property into something very special for us; adding beautiful landscape, accent lighting and a unique seating area that we intend to use for a quiet space and fire pit entertaining. We have used Craig and his design services three times in the past 25 years and he has never failed to impress. Craig has created something that we will enjoy every day for many years to come.

While the initial landscape design and installation was done well (for a lot of money), there was zero follow up. I had to keep calling Craig to check in on the health of our plants, as many appeared to be deer-eaten or dying, but he had no interest in coming back unless he was getting paid. When he finally came by after multiple requests, he offered to service our property as part of a maintenance plan that was $1200 higher than the next landscaper I requested a quote from. I told him I was passing on his maintenance plan, but wanted him to adjust a major tree that he planted that was blown out of position. Any adjustment to the initial planting was part of our contract. Since I wasnt going with his maintenance plan, he has ignored all of my requests to come back and adjust the tree. I have reached out to him multiple times over multiple weeks explaining to him that he is in breach of our contract, to no avail. To give you a sense of his work, he even considered unwrapping the ropes around the root balls of our trees a part of maintenance even though the health of one of our trees seemed to be negatively affected by the wrap not being removed. Do yourself a favor and find yourself a landscaper who is interested in doing a complete, respectable job, and not one who is only interested in your money.

I was recently at my Nephew s salon in Red Bank and was totally amazed on how beautiful Craig transformed his courtyard. Craig created a stunning rock garden with plantings all around. It shows that he has a lot of passion in his work!

Craig came out to our property and told us his vision for an area that really needed attention in our yard. It wasnt a big job, but he still treated it as if it was. We never used him before but we trusted his knowledge and taste. He and his crew showed up on time at 7:30am and completed the job in a timely manner. They left our yard very neat and the area looks amazing! We will definitely be using his services going forward!

Many years ago Craig did some work for us. In and out. We felt it was all about the cash. In the end, it turns out we were right. He planted 3 Leland Cyprus trees next to our driveway. I found out how big they get. They would have grown to cover half my driveway. We had to have them moved at the cost of $600, and they died anyway. Not to mention the $1000 or so they cost to begin with. Now today we are having our septic system re-done. A blue spruce he planted, which is now over 25 feet tall, has to be removed because he planted it too close to the septic field. It had to be at least 10 feet away, and this was right on the edge of the field. He is a landscape architect, and should know better. Tree removal and disposal, along with moving the rocks is going to cost me an additional $800-$1000. Plus the loss of the tree.

NO SHOW AFTER CONFIRMING APPOINTMENT!! A rep called and we both confirmed a scheduled an appointment. i waited no one called no showed up. Not sure how or where existing reviews are coming from.

After the storms in March, my yard was a mess. I was able to get someone to remove the downed branches, but for the first time in almost 50 years, I was embarrassed by my house. It took Landscaping by Craig to make me so proud of my property. I so appreciate the excellent and professional job done by his employees. They went out of their way, and planted many flats of flowers. I really didn t expect them to do that, but I really appreciated their help. I really can t wait until they complete the work on by backyard. Thank you Landscaping by Craig. If I could give you seven stars I would have.

We wanted a landscaping that would be the talk of the town and guess what - THAT IS WHAT WE GOT and oh without breaking the bank!! We have received a lot of compliments. Craig understood our needs and came up with a design that complimented our house. Craig is very knowledgeable and has an innate passion for what he does. The large crew was very professional, accommodating and were quick moving and fast working. This enabled the project to be done in a timely manner and NOT be a drag. He moved a couple of trees around for us until we found the best spot for them. The project included hardscaping, softscaping, groundwork, landscape lighting. For a lot of these sub pieces of work, the prices were pretty competitive in comparison to a couple of other landscapers we had initially asked for quotes. The landscape lighting came out extremely well as well as the front walkway leading up to the main door including the natural stone seating on either side. The choice of plants, shrubs, trees, etc gives a green look through the different seasons of the year and does not go completely barren during the long cold winter which is nice. Additionally, there is color throughout the flowering season from early spring to fall. Whenever we discussed with him about a tree we would want and show him a picture, he would add his experience and expertise to it and the result was a product of what we wanted and what would naturally look good. We soon got used to each others style of working and there was no looking back ;)... Overall our experience with Craig has been wonderful and we are very happy with the finished product and with our decision to hire him and his company for our landscaping needs.

I was interviewing for landscapers for new home in Jersey and Craig was a man with unbelievable passion and craft. When I move I will definitely be hiring.
