The concept sounded good but I think they took on too many clients because my driveway was never made passable. My security cameras have them arriving around three AM twice during the start of two seperate snowfalls, leaving me to clear the heavy stuff at 8 am so we could actually get out of our driveway. The third time my camera got them is when they came and cleared my driveway after I had already done it in the late afternoon. They literally did a pass on a clean driveway. The previous plow service we hired had my driveway in perfect condition every morning and often came multiple times a day. The only time I had to shovel was to clean up my mailbox and the stuff the municipal plows left. There was not one single time that my driveway was clear enough for us to go to work. I entered into an agreement with them, paid the a lot of money. and ended up doing the heavy lifting myself. When the snow eventually cleared, the equipment they used ended up throwing gravel from my driveway all over my front lawn. My expectation for a plowing contractor is to have a passable driveway for our commute to work. They couldn't provide this for us so after calling multiple times for service when we were snowed in, we chose to cancel. The worst part is they took $350 from us while not providing us any useful service. They had an amazing sales pitch but I feel like I threw cash away and am stuck clearing out my own driveway because mine was never made passable. I regret buying the hype and not using our previous contractor. Next year we are going back to Bartz. **** one star review is fair. I understand weather, equipment issues, driving bans, etc, but I NEVER had a passable driveway. I never had a plow service with so many excuses either. You guys did not deliver the service that was agreed upon. Servicing a clean driveway an hour after I cleared it myself isn't service. It's nonsense.
My siblings and I purchased the snow removal for our parents last year, as they are getting older. I thought the service may take away from my dad’s independence because he snow blowed for the past 50 years. He was still able to snow blow the back patio of their home so it all worked out. Not to mention my parents loved watching the tractor clear away the snow in their driveway in minutes! We’re all extremely happy with the service!
Driveway snowplowing services by Aurora Lawn Care have been the best we have ever had! Dependable and thorough! We were so impressed with the plow/snow thrower they use; it gets close to the garage door and they never knick the house or trim in the process.
Outstanding service!! This is my FIRST experience with a plow company that was responsive, punctual, and professional. They were able to provide plowing before my early work schedule. They also use a snow blowing tractor which made the snow removal very neat. I can't recommend Aurora Lawn Services enough.
This was my second time using Aurora Lawn Services, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. They recently redid the landscaping in my front yard, and it looks absolutely beautiful. The stacked stone work was done by hand, ensuring that each piece fit perfectly—showcasing their exceptional craftsmanship. During the process, they noticed a cracked concrete block on my path and replaced it without any additional charge. They also went above and beyond by reseeding the entire front lawn. Now, the grass is greener and fuller than it was before. Overall, I highly recommend Aurora Lawn Services for their attention to detail and outstanding service!
Beautiful redo job on our lawn! Looks Beautiful. Friendly crew that explained everything and arrived on time with ample warning. I'm so pleased and impressed that John and Lacy were willing to redo this job. Wonderful. Terrible job! My lawn was dug up for a sewer line replacement, so I needed professionals with heavy equipment. They planned to level out the lawn, removed the clay, lay down topsoil, and reseed. What a mess. The lawn is not level so a huge puddle developed in front. Seeding is uneven and grass won’t grow in the hard clay. I had to have another landscaper come in and fill the low spot. Workers were friendly and hardworking, but it was clear that the boss did not schedule the day or workweek well. They were rushed and couldn’t do their best. This was a pricey job and I did not get what I paid for. I’m stuck with a lousy lawn and I can’t afford to have it done over again. The yard used to be lovely. Disappointed. John and Lacy came to the house to look at the lawn. They have a new plan to rectify the situation. I appreciate their concern and look forward to seeing the results. Hopefully I will be posting a great review and photos when the job is done.
Can't rave enough about Aurora Lawn Services! Exceptional service and phenomenal quality of work for a great price. John and Lacey's effective communication and response times reassured me that I made the right decision to hire them for my landscaping needs. Outstanding work by Ashley and Rob! I had a spring clean up and then an early summer mulch and trim in my expansive gardens. My yard has never looked so beautiful! We had a new garden bed designed and installed by Aurora Lawn Services in June. Lacey and John were great at communicating and were easy to get a hold of if we had any questions during the whole process. The design was perfect and the team did a great job bringing the plan to life; it s beautiful! We are very happy with the work from Aurora Lawn and will be using them again for our next project!

Aurora Lawn Service did a great job with our driveway during the winter. The tractor/blower worked out way better than a traditional plow service. No big piles of snow or scraped up lawn. They showed up on time like clock work. Im definitely having them do my driveway next year. I would definitely recommend them for snow removal.

Aurora Lawn Services does a fabulous job. This is our first year using them. They show up and do a thorough job. In addition to their truck, they have a snow blowing machine like none other I have seen. It is an art!!!
Aurora came to the rescue for plowing when no other company or truck would. We saw their truck on a street and asked for help 3 miles away at our sons apartment which had over 4 feet of snow at the base. Quinn went right over and did an amazing job. He was friendly and did outstanding work. We were so grateful and would highly recommend Aurora for any service. I spoke with the office staff, as well, to thank them for their assistance and was amazed with the fabulous customer service.

The Aurora Lawn Services team was very good. This was our first summer using them for spring clean out, general landscaping, step build out. We are 100% planning to use their services again. Everyone was very respectful, reliable and professional. They are a well polished team you can trust. If you re looking for a local team that knows what they re doing, give them a call. Their costs are high for what is delivered. What was discussed vs what was delivered was very different - make sure you get anything you want them to do in writing! They were over a month late from our discussed time as well. I wont be using them again. *My response: I only leave negative reviews when warranted and I stand by what I wrote. I chose your company based on your reviews and was unfortunately mistaken (maybe its just your friends and family reviewing?). What was talked about (verbally) vs what was delivered was different so I choose to warn others about your services. I asked for a partial refund and was denied, and asked to cancel the section that I complained about prior to your install, but was again denied. The initial verbal discussion was a mid-May install. I never had this written. The install wasnt completed until the end of June. Again, if you choose this company be sure to get everything written - my mistake. Im fully capable of paying for what was quoted but again, what you discussed with me, vs what was delivered was much different (2 bricks and a bag of dirt dont cost $300+ - even if Elon Musk is delivering it).
After getting hit with 6 of snow in 2.5 days, nobody could dig out on their own. Aurora Lawn services came out to plow our driveway, get 2 cars out and cleaned off, then cleared the rest of the driveway. Good, honest people. Will definitely use them for lawn cleanup in the spring!
I consider myself lucky to have found Aurora lawn services. They are one of the most dependable companies I have ever worked with, and I would definitely recommend their services.

I emailed John for a spring cleanup for at least 2 acres of land. A lot of leaves, branches, and overgrowth in the gardens. He gave me a very reasonable price within a couple hours. I asked him to put me on the schedule, and he was here the next day due to a cancellation. I cant say enough about what a great job they did. Ive found my yearly cleanup landscaper, and probably more. Thank you Aurora Lawn Services!!
This is a very good, honest company. They are fair, respnsive and good at what they do. They can help with a wide variety of needs around the yard, not just mowing.
Aurora Lawn Services is always reliable and they are very communicative. My tenants even take the time to tell me how good of a job they do with both the lawn care and the plowing at our rental property!
