Clay is helpful and knowledgeable concerning all things small engines. Ive purchased a Husqvarna zero turn Z248, and a Husqvarna 550XP II 20 chainsaw. The staff is helpful and friendly, and emphasized the importance of using high quality fuel. Some people are skeptical of using expensive fuel, and I use it occasionally in my mower- and always in my small engines. I don t own a lawn company and as a homeowner it s not as large of an added cost. The gas sold here ran in my generator for 18 hours, when the manufacturer claims a 12 hour run time. Additionally it doesn t have a shelf life, so storing a generator with that gas was a no brainer, it helps us and our neighbors during hurricane Helene s 6 day outage.

I had an old leaf blower, and the guy who helped me looked very hard to find my part and found it.I was very glad that he found it. I traveled a long ways. Thank you

Went by there after Helene hit and got a generator for almost $700 of 3500 W champion no receipt just cash. I gotta look online and they re $375. I confronted the man today about it and he got hostile. he even said more people came up there and said that he probably gave him too. You don t do that when there is a need of something in a pandemic the owner of the shop was very rude.

Awesome service and a wealth of knowledge. Buy their gas for your equipment. I have a saw I only run their gas in it had been sitting for over a year . Pulled it out to use for storm damage cranked on 2nd pull.!! Pump gas would have had carb gummed up. Buy local!!!!

I purchased 5 gallons of the Husqvarna fuel today. Have been doing this when needed since my purchase of the 42 Husqvarna lawn tractor from Easley Lawn and Garden several years ago. I also use the Husqvarna fuel for my Honda push mower and it works well. Clay, the manager of the Easley facility, highlighted the short and long term benefits of the Husqvarna fuel to any other fuel options. Have had zero problems with fuel related operations of these devices since doing that and I highly recommend your use of that fuel for your gas powered devices. The price is relatively high compared to ethanol free gasoline but the benefits are well worth it. In addition, purchased a Husqvarna 450XH Automower from them today along with its necessary support equipment for installation along with blades/garage for the unit. Clays price aligned with the sale price on the Husqvarna website for the 450XH unit and the other items purchased. I am pleased to have a great local Husqvarna service for this maintainer lawn mower (mows frequently taking only a slight amount off of the grass each time to maintain the desired height of grass) and its associated technical requirements with installation and operation.

I have always had good results when dealing with Easley lawn and garden. They are one of the few family owned businesses that actually care about the customers. You can order stuff online but they will help you when online will keep you in circles

First impression was great, until my wife went to pick up my mower blades that I could have gotten off line for 30% less. And she over heard the men behind the counter saying they had to dumb it down for women. To the guy behind the counter today you sir just lost all my business. And just to DUMB it down for you, if a woman is picking up parts for her husband s business I d say he does a lot of it and needs a lot of supplies. So that being said if you have respect for your wife and daughters take your business elsewhere.

Customer service is a joke. They talk and think customers can t hear what they say. It s sad when a supposed reputable company has employees that downgrade people loud enough for them to hear. Oh the prices are also ridiculous. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere with good customer service and better prices.

We had a stand up comercial grade mower that was serviced by Easley Lawn and Garden. We thought it would take 10 weeks for it to be repaired and returned but they jumped on it, repaired everything and returned it within a month. This is the second mower they have repaired for me and I have been extremely pleased with both repairs. If you think their cost is high, check other places. But if you want repairs done correctly and the life of your mowers extended, this is the people you want to work with. I 100% recommend Easley Lawn and Garden!!!!

Clay and the entire staff did a great job, setting me up with my Spartan Mower equipment. Clay helped me extensively with trading in my Husqvarna zero-turn for a much more robust Spartan zero turn. He gave me his full attention and methodically explained the differences between my existing unit versus the Spartan. In short, he recommended the Spartan model that best suited my needs, worked up a terrific trade in on my Husqvarna. Their approach to customer service and satisfaction is stellar. These guys are an awesome LOCAL shop for repairing equipment. I brought in my concrete saw I bought off Marketplace years ago and have used and abused. They went through the saw thoroughly after it finally died on me and gave me a very comprehensive list of what they found and gave me suggestions for moving forward. They didnt just throw parts at the saw and hope it fixed it and pass the cost onto me. My profession is in problem solving so I can 100% appreciate a professional business who thrives with problem solving. Its nothing against those guys at the store, but the issue with getting parts from Husqvarna is pushing me away from the brand. Ill use what I got, but in the future I think Ill be buying something else besides husqvarna. Ive been complaining to the Company and I think the president of one division is gone, hope things change.

I stopped in to buy a belt for an old tiller. I told the person behind the counter the size of the belt. He stated (in a very condescending tone) that belts CANT be ordered by size and that a model number was needed. I told him that I had ordered belts by size ar Amazon, to which he quipped this aint Amazon and that Amazon was ruining their business. Another employee asked him what I was after and he sarcasticly told him, He want a belt but he aint giving me nothing to go by If this business lacks the software to convert sizes to part numbers, he could have politely explained that, but trying to belittle customers and critique orther businesses that can provide a service that you cant is not acceptable. After leaving ELG, i googled 3/8 x 24 v belt, and the first 2 results were Tractor supply company and Ace Hardware, proving that belts CAN be bought by size. ACE sold me the belt I needed. As a war vet and a 66 year old man, I would never spend my money in a business that allows their employess to belittle and speak rudely to customers. Get with the times ELG, belt can be cross referenced. Its funny how you didnt address the main complaint in my review... the rudeness and condescending attitude of your employees. Its not surprising, though, given the way you address anyone who complains about your business. You state that you would glady sell a belt by size. However, your employees had no clue how to even do that. I wasnt guessing about the size of the belt I requested. I have owned that piece of equipment for 29 years, and I KNOW what size it was. I did provide the fact that it was a Troy bilt tuffy manufactured about 30 yrs ago. I dont have the model number because the label disappeared years ago. As to the pulling the veteran card, I notice you have done that several times in replying to reviews, but I guess its only ok for you to do it. I also find it funny that you and your employees criticize Amazon because they will provide a service that you wont, but claim you can, and they do it at a cheaper price. Again, my main complaint with your establishment is the rudeness and condesending attitude of your staff. their incompetence was just icing on the cake. By the way, the fact that I am a veteran wasnt a contest with you. I admit I only served 15 years and left after the Gulf War due to the fact that I lost my mother to cancer, and my Dad was also suffering from cancer, and family was more important. But it seems everything is a contest for you. Ace hardware had no problem selling the belt by size, and I was using the tiller again shortly after. Of course, I wouldnt go into an auto parts store and ask for a part for a red car, no dies that equate to me going into your store and asking for a very specific part. You have a habit of making strawman arguments, and they dont strengthen your case. Bottom line... I asked for a very specific item. Your employees couldnt figure out how to provide it. They turned to ridicule and rudeness. Ace hardware provided the part with a smile, and I wont darken your threshold again. Until you own up to shortcomingsn youll never improve.

I started shopping for a zero turn mower in July of 23. Saw an add for ELG and liked the fact of shopping local and not supporting a big box store. I was told a couple of not-so-good encounters from a couple people, but decided to try them anyway. I went in to ELG on a Saturday and was told they had incentives through the end of the month for Husqvarna products, offering $x.xx off after spending $x.xx dollars. After being shown different models, I selected a mower, weed eater, blower, and chainsaw. The pricing was right and I wanted to make the deal. Unfortunately it was after hours, plus I did not have a way to haul the mower at that time, so we discussed picking everything up the following Saturday. I went in the following Saturday only to find out they sold the mower I had planned to get. They asked if I put a deposit down, but I was never told I needed to put a deposit in the first place. I asked about ordering another unit but they said they couldn t order another unit before the incentives ran out, and insisted I look at other units. They showed me bigger (commercial) Husqvarna units but the pricing increased significantly. Then they showed me a Spartan unit. The price was a bit more than the original Husqvarna unit, but after test riding a Spartan unit and a Husqvarna unit, I understood why. Though it was aggravating initially, It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Due to the price of the Spartan, I opted for just the mower itself, no accessories. I proceeded with the purchase and was instructed that after 20hrs on the mower I needed to have it serviced, and that they would do it all in house when the time came. Fast forward to March. I achieved my 20hr mark and called to schedule a service. They informed me that it was a drop-off service and that it d be a couple weeks before it would be ready. I m very capable and thought, why not just do the service myself? I start researching online and saw that oil change kits were about $30. I then called the store (to support a local business) and asked basic questions about the products they offered and the person I spoke to was VERY vague and standoff-ish, only giving prices, generic info, and said I just had to supply the engine model when I came in. I asked about the oil weight and type, as well as part numbers (to compare what I had seen online) and he immediately asked if I was going to buy from them or poking for info to go elsewhere. I told him my intentions were to purchase through ELG (again, to support a local business) but after this encounter I d likely go elsewhere. He proceeded to say whatever, go somewh .click! And he hung up on me. That pretty much sealed the deal for me, and confirmed the unpleasant dealings that I was told of initially. I will no longer be supporting Easley Lawn and Garden, and urge to everyone to shop elsewhere. They get 2 stars from me seeing as I am overall pleased with my mower, not necessarily my experience. Wish they had friendlier staff.

Recently purchased a new Husqvarna professional weed eater. This was to replace the Echo that I had purchased in 2003, I use my weed eaters a great deal and I buy good equipment. The folks at Easley Lawn and Garden have been around for a long time and provide knowledge and very good equipment along with service. I am now retired from being an equipment mechanic for the last 45 years. Spent 43 years at one place. So if I put my confidence in these folks and this establishment, I think anyone else should also. The owner can be usually overheard complaining about his customers. From reading other reviews I m sure he will try to refute any complaints I make. Mike, the automower tech, is a nice guy and tries to help, but ultimately, I will go out of my way for service elsewhere.

I live on a hill and have been using single ground mulch for more than a decade. Since I was having a problem getting it in a timely manner this year, I called Easley Lawn and Garden. I asked if they had single ground because I know its not the norm. I was told they had it, and was quoted a price. I went ahead and ordered 16 yards to be delivered and paid over the phone. I was not able to be home when it was delivered, but my wife was. The man delivered mulch that is clearly double ground. When my wife pointed this out, he just acted like she didnt know what she was talking about. This is offensive. My wife knows the difference. Now I have over $300 worth of mulch that will wash away at the first big storm. How rediculous it is to be sold the wrong product and then treated like a child. Reply: You remember me? I have never stepped foot in your store. The mulch was dumped before she could see it! Yes, you did get a chance. You had a chance to make it right when my wife told the dump truck driver it was wrong. I think I was plenty graceful while I waited a week to get the mulch delivered. Lying in your response to make yourself sound better is not right. And you are still treating me like I dont know what Im talking about. The plain truth is that the mulch you brought me has been through the machine twice. Hence, double ground. I have bought single ground mulch from many places through the years. This is the first time it was a problem.

Staff was excellent!! My wife went in to purchase a blade & battery for my riding mower. We had already been to two other places that were less than helpful-even acting like they were iterated with the question. Easley Lawn and Garden just got a new customer!!

Again, ELG steps up to the plate with great service. After 5 years my Spartan blew an engine. (A factory defect). I was a year pass the warranty. Clay, came through and got Briggs to send me a new motor at cost. They sent the wrong motor. After a week of waiting and me struggling to keep up with my lawns, CLay offered me a deal on a new Spartan. I took it, saved me money in the long run and Im very happy with my new Spartan. ELG goes out of their way to assist their customers. I couldnt do this business if it were for the folks at ELG. Highly recommend ELG. Easley Lawn and Garden has provided me with great service and great lawn mowers dating back to the 90s. I recently purchased a Spartan. What a great way to cut grass, it is strong, dependable and gets the job done quickly. Clay assisted with with my purchase making it easy to finance and put me in the right mower. I recently took by Spartan back for the 20 hour service, again Easley Lawn and Garden displayed their friendly professional demeanor, my mower was ready the next day. I highly recommend Easley Lawn and Garden for any of your lawn care needs from a push mower to a large Commercial lawn mower. You will get the best bang for your buck and friendly professional service.

I used the short haul concrete service they offer. It was a life saver. I had to pour 2 yards at my house. I had already ordered 100 bags of concrete and was planning on mixing it myself. I found this service on Facebook and I was able to do the entire job in 45 minutes. Clay is really great guy and was willing to go above and beyond. I will definitely be using this service in the future.

He helped educate me during my buying experience, and had no problem working with me long after closing time to put a personal touch on the sale. Very personable and friendly, and even though I haven t used the mower or weed eater I bought yet, I already feel I can trust him and those that he employs. I will be using Easley Lawn and Garden for my tune ups and repairs.

I give them a 5 for service and a 5 for being a business that will do small engine repairs. They took a bit longer than they estimated to fix my chainsaw, but the actual cost was lower than the cost estimate too, so guess that cancelled out.

Great experience and customer service when buying new riding lawn mower. They did not try to sell me something more then what I needed. Asked about my yard size and any obstacles I had and matched that to what would be reasonable without blowing budget. I can definitely tell a difference in my dealer model mower I got from them compared to my previous store box model from the big box stores. I am definitely glad I went with them so far when it comes to purchasing mower.

Im giving 5 stars for the service I got at the store, but we had to downgrade the bagger after the sale due to unavailability, and the delivery part went less that perfect. No delivery the day we discussed, then a rather sharp and curt reply to a call the next day from me, just to check the status. Me Any idea when the mower might be delivered today? ELG John will deliver it Me OK, any idea, morning or afternoon? ELG John will deliver it - Click So, after my wife called, John then delivered it (roughly 2 miles). That went fine. I would have appreciated a notice on my phone though. It seems to be a great Husqvarna riding mower in these early days. We will see with time. ELG supplied my Snapper, which gave 21 years of great service, so of course I returned to them.

I always went to Easley lawn and garden for repairs on equipment for my parents and thats how i became know Clay / Donnie. Although most of there equipment they owned my ( parents) was just Lowes or home depot equipment which when repairs are needed its almost impossible to find someone to take care of them. EASLEY LAWN & GARDEN did just that with all there needs so they could maintain there yard every day and enjoy there retirement. Over time i never noticed or seen a change in there day to day operations or the way they handled or treated customers so i began to talk with Donnie & Clay about starting up a lawncare business to keep me busy and active .They walked me through all the details of the ( Dos & Donts) and my equipment needs for what services i wanted to provide. I then opened up HONEY DO LAWN & LANDSCAPING SERVICE and purchased all new equipment from Clay & Donnie, The new Spartan 61 inch is a beast and all new echo line of equipment handles all day to day activities as it should. Solenoid went out on my 25 HP Husqvarna after 2 years. Called Easley L&G and they sent Clays son David and his partner and they were very helpful and very easy to talk to. Went a head and had full maintenance done too. Great job! They had a whole lot of people in front of me and since I bought the mower from them I was able to be moved more to the front (nice perk) so they got my mower back pretty fast. Just finished the lawn, like a new one...thank you Easley L & G!

Not good. These folks are to busy for you. Buy from Home Depot if youre a home owner, if youre not happy with a product return it. No problem. I purchased a weed eater from Easley Home and Garden. I took it home and used it 30 minutes and it didnt suit me. When I spoke with the owner he said sorry I might could give you 1/2 of your money back. Lessons Learned.

A+ service from start to finish. The great thing about this place is they provide the higher tier mowers you CAN NOT get at Lowes/Home Depot. The models they sell at those big box stores are NOT the same quality. So if you are wondering why their mowers cost more, 2 reasons: 1) Service after the sale. They provide outstanding service and customer support 2) Mowers sold here are not the lower quality ones sold at Lowes or Home Depot. Any good business should help a customer get what they need. That said, I contacted Easley Lawn and Garden in reference to blades for my zero turn mower. The young lady I spoke with was helpful at first. I gave her my model number and she checked for availability. As things go she didn t have blades for my mower in stock and stated it would be late the following week before they would have them. I explained that they are for my mower at my farm in Tennessee and I was hoping to get the blades on my way out to mow the lawn there. When asked for the part number her reply was we don t give part numbers . I ve been buying my oil and filters along with belts from them for years . Today they lost a loyal customer over $50. I think I can spend my money elsewhere

This place has all your needs. The best part is that the owner is out on the floor NOT trying to sell you the most expensive equipment. He talks to you and gets a feel for what you need. That s what I liked. I wanted the biggest and most powerful equipment he had. Then he asked what is the size of your yard. I told him and he pointed me to the equipment that would be great for what I have. He said I have no problem selling you what you want but it would be over kill. He explained the difference between what I wanted and what would work best for my yard. The owner, sorry don t remember his name, knows his equipment and everything about it. Everyone in this place is great to work with. I would rate this place with 10 stars if that was an option!

Bought my first zero turn mower today from here. From the phone call to the store all the way through the purchase of the mower at the store, I was treated with so much kindness and professionalism it was hard to believe. You wont get this kind of service or product expertise at the big box stores. I walked in with money my pocket and my heart set on a zero turn mower. After speaking with Clay I realized I really shouldnt spend the extra money and the zero turn was not the machine I needed for my hilly acrage. In fact it could have been dangerous. Clay asked questions about how much acrage and what the slope of the terrain was? He could have sold me a much more expensive machine that wouldnt have been a good fit for my property. With the savings I was able to purchase a commercial trimmer and a chainsaw. Thanks Clay!

ELG has excellent customer service, and good employees, hard to come by these days, answers emails by end of day. My friend and I researched zturn mowers for weeks. There are some pretty good ones out there. Having owned John Deere all my adult life, I looked at anything not painted green with a cautious eye. But the research showed that for zturn bang for the buck there is only one choice, the Husqvarna Z series mowers. We chose the MZ61, now to find a dealer. A few phone calls to a few dealers made the decision where to buy quite easy. After talking with Clay we had to buy from him. His knowledge and honesty made it easy to drive for nearly an hour, past two other dealers, just to buy from him. Now that I have nearly four hours on the new mower I am confident we made the right decision. We each bought one!

Purchased a Husqvarna Riding Mower several months ago after looking at it for a good while. I am acquainted with much of the staff and the owner. Clay is knowledgeable and helpful and informed me on everything I needed to know. The great thing about this business is the aspect of sales and service which is superior to the Big Box Stores in every way. Also love the mower and respect Husqvarna products from Husqvarna dealers. Would absolutely recommend to anyone to do business here. OK - I also purchased a leaf bagger for the lawnmower. Yesterday (9/16/20) I opened the box to to take a look at it and it was so simple to install I was done in less than 20 minutes. The only true installation was 4 bolts to the back of the mower and everything attached to it or the deck. I used it as well and the high air flow deck design worked perfectly to pick up leaves and other debris. The bagger is a two bag design. The unit also comes off of the mower in under 3 minutes, literally. Would recommend highly.

I bought one of their dump carts (envious comments from my visitors on that), and that is a real time saver. Great people to work with! I spoke with Clay and I drove from Fletcher, NC to check out the Spartan line just to look one day and he was up front about everything and just wants to make sure you have the correct tools for the job even if it is not him selling it. I know they say zero turns arent supposed to mow over 15 degrees but we have two hills at our house that are pushing 18-20 or better and it handles them well, I do however take my time. I would recommend anyone to go see them and I purchased a new Spartan and couldnt be happier, the thing is the most comfortable mower I have ever used and cuts great too. I also was on the fence about the Echo trimmer instead of the Husqvarna but I chose the Echo and it was a great choice as well. Go see Clay and check out the Spartans!

Went in to get a saw fixed. I came out with a heck of a deal that was offered to arborists. I bought the new 572xp saw. Let me tell you I have run a many of saws from big to little and different brand names. This saw really performs at top notch level. I would say it s the fastest saw I have run. The saw pulls through the wood like a dream. One of my workers is a still guy and lives and dies by them. He loves the new 572 and uses it more than I. Bought our Husqvarna 3 years ago and have been very pleased with not only our mower but the service. The quick turn around when we have the mower serviced yearly and their knowledge is way above any box store around. We highly recommend Easley Lawn to anyone. Clay knows his products and is eager to explain anything you want to know about the mower. We would definitely buy another mower from them when the time comes.

His specialty is HUSQVARNA. Not only is he a specialty dealer, but also a repair facility and best of all... Local. :-) We just bought a Tractor/ Mower, On sale with ZERO % interest for 4 years. THANK YOU!! $72.00 PER MONTH? Yessiirreee!. He also will actually stand at the counter....you get to sit down ;-) .... And explain EVERYTHING you need to know about whatever you buy. Nice, friendly and professional huh? Yep! We bought some attachments and the right gasoline etc to keep things running smoothly too. This is a family business so you know how fantastic that is for your Karma! Well, I can buy online or at a big box store. I know you just thought that and we did too. UNTIL !!!!! I bought a Spartan SRT HD from the guys at Easley Lawn and Garden back in June of 2019. Ill start by saying the staff was wonderful to work with and knowledgeable about all the equipment they sell. As a lawn care and landscaping company owner Im always looking for ways to increase production, as well as leaving a beautiful clean cut at the properties we service. After doing a lot of research I went to check out the Spartan line up in person and was duly impressed. I decided to wait until I had put some hours on the mower to leave a review and here it is. Im impressed with this machine overall. It produces a beautiful cut and will hold a slope really well. Like all zero turns it had its limitations but it does better than most in that regard. I have had a couple of issues . One was the fuel guage quit working and the second was the control panel went out making it impossible to start. The control panel on these has a digital lock out which I really love but when it went out I was up the creek without a paddle so to speak. The guys at Easley were great though and replaced both parts at no cost to me and no trouble at all. Now Im back going strong and loving my Spartan!

Outstanding customer service! I brought my lawn mower and leaf blower in for service and the turn -around time was only two days! Joey who worked on the machines was thorough and explained things in detail about the service work he did. Sherri was super nice and helpful with my questions and Clay was very knowledgeable about all things Husqvarna. I would highly recommend Easley Home and Garden to anyone.

Clay was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the buying process of a new mower and string trimmer! 2020 update! The 2020 lawn season will be my third year in business. To say that their customer service is great would be a gross understatement. I bought my tractor here a couple of years ago and their service is what keeps me coming back. Its hard to find businesses like this anymore. I highly recommend Easley Lawn and Garden.

I found the sales folks extremely knowledgeable, they recommended the right tractor at a reasonable price, delivery was on time as expected, tractor in great shape with bagger mounted. After one mowing I am more than happy with results.Good folks to do business with from selling thru delivery! Also noted while there that their service and parts dept was very helpful to customers.

first of all, I did not buy my first lawn mower from them. I took it in and they explained that if I purchased the mower from them, those people had priority service. I understood. took them 4 weeks and my mower was ready. glad I took it in the off season. I then purchased a weedeater from them that they had to order. was a special order but still received in in 2 weeks. I bought the fuel and I get 2 to 3 times run time on the fuel compared to normal fuel. I then began looking for a push mower( not self propelled). they were the only one that had the type I wanted and even had an Husqvarna incentive. purchased it cheaper than I could have gotten it anywhere else. I then went back to them for the purchase of a chainsaw. I explained my needs and he showed me several different saws. I purchased an echo and have been thrilled with my purchase. I have purchased parts to fix my own equipment and took my things into them for fixing. I will not carry any of my equipment to any other person. I trust them and they have always been honest and up front with me. to have someone who takes the time to explain, you cannot ask for a better group. thank you clay for your service and for servicing the community.

We purchased a weedeater and 1 gallon of there fuel, I am still using the same gallon of fuel all season. They fuel they sale seems to last 2-3 times longer then regular fuel.They have Great products and very knowledgeable. I have shopped here many times and have always been Happy with the staff and products. Could not ask for a better business. And its also Family owned with the Friendliest Family. They went out of there way to help me.
