Rand and crew were highly recommended for a large and challenging paver installation with multiple elevation changes. They did an outstanding job! I demanded lots of extra details and features on our historic home. Rand’s artistry exceeded my requirements. It’s been many months since completion and his work has withstood some tough weather beautifully without settling or errors in construction. A+
Chris and Rand did a great job excavating an outside stairwell to our basement and cutting a new entrance through the existing twelve-inch concrete wall.
Very happy we chose Rand for our masonry and hard/land-sculpting project. The work included extensive exterior and interior surfaces (fire place, wall coverings), and we have received countless compliments from friends and family. He and his team were a pleasure to work with, highly recommended!
Rand showed up and responded when I reached out, which is half the battle in Durango! He did a large backyard patio for me with pavers and then I had him come back and fix a retaining wall with some timbers and boulders. We did have a few communication issues, but he was quick to address/fix them and very professional when I brought them up. His crew was nice, done in a timely manner, cleaned up after themselves, and the quote I was originally given was pretty much spot on.
Rand created a very beautiful landscape for us over a period of 2 years . Our goal was to have privacy without blocking the Mountain View’s. He was very informative, very resourceful locating plants and installed the trees at the best time. He was very easy to work with and we are extremely happy. We strongly recommend R & D Landscaping.
Rand is an absolute miracle worker. I called him in a pinch, he came by my house within an hour for an estimate, and literally 48 hours later this finished product was complete. Rand and his team were very clean, professional, and really did a great job improvising along the way to make a finished product more beautiful than we ever imagined. I 100% recommend him for brick masonry to anyone interested, and I can’t wait to see what they can do with site work and hard scape next summer!
We have used R & D Landscaping for all hardscaping projects at our house (over last 6 years). Rand is always very responsive to requests and schedules us in a very timely manner. He and his crew are very friendly, competent and courteous. I highly recommend R&D for hardscape projects.
We used R & D initially for interior and exterior masonry. Rand and his entire crew (Chris, David, Joe, etc.) were all exceptional. We have received so many compliments on their work. They have a real artistic view on their work, and were not only professional craftsmen, they were a delight to have working on our home. Only after seeing the full name of their company did we realize they also do landscaping. At a time when everyone else was giving us the run-around, Rand and crew came through again. Our landscaping/hardscaping is just as impressive as the masonry work. If I could give 6 stars, I would.
We had a stone wall replace a wood terrace that had fallen into disrepair. R&D did excellent work at a reasonable price. Thank you!
In 2024, we asked R & D Landscaping to assist us with planning and implementing a fairly extensive exterior design around our home. Rand listened carefully, planned thoroughly, and delivered exactly as expected. The project included excavating, stone work, paver work, a fire pit, large patios, walkways, a gazebo structure, and more. Rand and his team were total professionals through the entire project and came in exactly on budget. Rand was also flexible with changes we desired to make along the way and handled the changes in a manner that was quite fair to the budget. We would be happy to use them again and confident in referring them to friends. We give them an A+.
