I am so appreciative and impressed with Bryan and his awesome team. I hired Bryan after meeting a few companies to perform fire mitigation work around our home. Bryan immediately impressed me with his positive and professional attitude. We met on a few occasions to discuss the scope of work as Bryan wanted to make sure to address all of our concerns, as well as meeting the requirements to allow us to get partial reimbursement from a government grant. Even though the grant only matched a very small portion of the work that was done, Bryan was very meticulous to ensure that he satisfied all the requirements of the grant. The scope of work entailed cutting down many tall, mature pines, some in close proximity to the house. We also asked Bryan and his team to cut down several large trees on a very steep slope leading down to a ravine on our property. This was very difficult work, and it was performed skillfully, quickly, and with a truly impressive attitude and work ethic. These guys never stop working and did an impressive amount of work in just one week on the job. We could not be happier with the outcome. We have created a fire-safe zone around the house, improved the health of the forest, and opened up some really nice view corridors. Overall, working with Bryan and his team was a great experience. I cannot emphasize enough how happy we are with the result, and I will certainly use Bryan again for any future work. Bryan and the rest of the crew, THANK YOU!!!!

These guys are legit! We only had them do landscaping/xeriscaping (no fire mitigation) and they were the only company we could find that did synthetic turf. They answered the phone, showed up and stayed until the job was AMAZINGLY done. We needed the job done ASAP and Bryan/Zach gave us guidance so we could start (note they were the only reliable company we could find). So we did some of the work ourselves with their guidance and then they came in when they could and did the rest. top notch with great recommendations and execution. Cant recommend them enough.

Great experience. Bryan was responsive and organized. He had his team (Zach and Mark) squeeze my project in on weekends and the team was professional and communicative. I explained everything I wanted with texted photos and they did exactly what I asked and it ended up looking fantastic.

Bryan at Cedar Enterprises performed snow removal from the roof of our home. They arrived when promised and performed an excellent job of removal and clean up. The crew utilized harnesses and fall protection lines while on the roof and cleaned up the snow piles before departing. I would definitely contract with Cedar again.

I had some natural stone steps that had settled over the years and needed to be re-leveled. I contacted Bryan and he stopped out the very next day (April 25th) to look the job over. After meeting with Bryan I told him to proceed with the repairs and his crew was at my door on May 4th. I had a 3+ acre lot completely overrun with gamble oak that was ugly and presented a risk for fires. Bryan was a pleasure to work with and he was willing to haul his equipment out to Pagosa Springs for a few days to take care of that problem. He was a good communicator, had fair pricing, and worked really hard to clear my land. The mastication equipment was very impressive and it worked like a charm. Would definitely call him back for further mitigation.

Bryan from Cedar Fire Mitigation partnered with Fire Smart Durango to conduct a fuels reduction effort on approximately 7 acres of steeply sloping greenbelt land adjacent to two Durango developments and a large section of BLM. My property line shares an immediate boundary with our house approximately 60 feet from the edge of the work. To my knowledge the property had not been mitigated since initial development. In two shorts days, Cedar Fire performed in an very professional manner in clearing brush so dense traditional sawyers would have spent weeks mitigating. I enjoyed discussing the project with Bryan prior to the actual work. He not only eliminated a severe fuels build up but left isolated copses of trees in an effort to maintain the idea of a managed forest versus a sterile clear cut. He was also conscious of parking and deploying his equipment with minimal impact to our private road as well as ingress/egress. I would definitely recommend Cedar Fire for any planned fuels mitigation projects - they were a friendly and efficient crew! Ive also included before and after photos!

We retained Bryan last year to install a fire break through dense gambles oak and service berry, and to mitigate dense dead and dying oak brush at various locations on the property. Bryan accomplished more than I thought possible in the three days working here. Very well maintained equipment, essentially no downtime and great result. These guys did a great job and really bailed me out to fix (redo) and then finish a flagstone patio project that another company had started. This is a very positive review for Brian Wendt of Cedar Enterprises, out of Durango, but he ranged over here to Montezuma County to do mastication work on our property. Brian gets after it. Excellent work ethic and communication. While here, Brian also did mastication work for a neighbor who said, He did a great job. He only charged for the time his masticator machine was actually working no travel or set-up time. And he threw in few extras at no charge, but this earned him a modest tip in gratitude. My impression: He s a really good guy.
