Firefly Lawn Co in Dumfries

I hired Firefly to begin the rehabilitation process on my lawn with aeration; fertilizer; lime; powerseeding; and a light dusting of compost. Price was more than I had paid other contractors in the past, but the scope of work was greater, as well, so over-all it was a fair price. They showed up the day the work was scheduled to be done and did a good job on what they did. Unfortunately, because of a miscommunication, the crew had neglected to do a long side yard on my property. I called Steve to let him know; he immediately accepted responsibility for the miscommunication; and advised that the crew would be back out the coming Monday to finish the yard. Again they showed up when promised and completed the job. You can't ask for more than that from a business owner because, let's face it, things happen. That's life. I happened to be home the day the crew came the second time and watched as the crew did their thing. I was impressed by the time and attention they were giving to the job. They weren't trying to "get in and get out", they were trying to do a thorough job. They did, and I'm very pleased with the initial effort. I'm watering as I'm supposed to and expect to see a green lawn begin to emerge any time now, and a full, lush lawn come next spring. More to follow.
