We pre-pay for the season to save money, we had 6 treatments and never an issue, friendly people and always willing to answer any questions.

Excellence Matters, always. Lawn Doctor of Dubuque has taken super good care of treatments of our lawn for many years. The lawn makes all of the other neighbors jealous, and they let me know because the husbands are nagged by spouses to make their yard as nice as ours. Our grandkids visit in the summer, and we feel safe about the materials used to treat. We evaluated several lawn care teams and Lawn Doctor was chosen for quality, price, and efficiency.
I don't often write reviews. But I'm making an exception for Lawn Doctor of Dubuque. I have tried several lawn services and NOBODY compares to these guys. I'm very picky about my yard and Lawn Doctor has it looking like a million bucks. Try them you will not regret it.
I can’t say enough good things about lawn doctor. From the initial pleasant & flawless phone consultation to the hard working, professional technicians. All of my experience with them has been more than adequate. I highly recommend if you are in need some TLC to your lawn!

I have been using Lawn Dr. for 14 years and have never been disappointed. They are professional, courteous and their response time for calling me back is timely in every way. Thank you all...Cory, Pedro and Robert are the best...my lawn looks very polished! Affordable as well. The office personnel are helpful, kind and understanding... This is noted on July 25, 2023 and things went south the last two years. Jerry is no longer involved, The price tripled and I had to go with one of their packages which are priced on the high end. The two girls in the office turned into snotty and snippy know it all girls. Very rude!
I have been with Lawn Doctor for over 3 years. I have never been been disappointed with their service. On time, respectful of my property and reasonable price for weed and feed services. They also add extra services at affordable prices.

Signed up for a one time application since I was listing a house that was vacant, they kept coming and despite numerous calls just kept billing, despite only signing up for one application as I specifically requested. Since it was a phone call they said I didnt have proof and continue to bill me
Technician was very professional and knowledgeable. Answered several questions I had for him, he didn t have all of the answers, but he assured me he would get answers for me. An hour later I had a call from the office, giving me the answers that I was looking for!! This is our second year with Lawn Doctor and we are over joyed with the progress, our lawn has made with the first year. Can t wait to see the transformation after our 2nd year of service!
We started using Lawn Doctor of Dubuque in the spring of 2023 for fertilizer and weed control. Our lawn is starting to look better already. In addition to their services, a newsletter is sent out with tips and information about pests and lawn care which we find very helpful.

2021 Updated review, changed rating from 5 to 3 star, this is a average lawn service, average communication, quality of job done comes down to tech s doing application, this is also as average as the next lawn service, not what I was expecting, more money that other lawn services, same weeds I had before I contracted with them. Now looking elsewhere! 2020 I am a new Lawn Doctor customer this year and so far they have been great! Over the last couple years I have tried to do lawn maintenance myself with subpar results and prior years to that I have tried nearly all local service providers and have been less than impressed with staff more so that product, reasons being from their hokey excuses, lack of communication which was vital since I have dogs in the yard most of the day or even product over or under application. Anyway what it comes down to is customer service, which is more that just applying the product, whether its addressing specific concerns, communication via onsite, phone or email, and taking the time to walk the lawn and address each issue the Lawn Doctor has gone above and beyond so far! I will update regularly as the first season progresses!

Called us asking us to renew our lawn service with them when we never had their service in the first place. Now we have two lawn services, bc we thought we renewed our other service. Called several days ago to get this worked. Havent heard anything...
I have used several different lawn care business and have found Lawn Doctor to be the most reliable and have turned my lawn around. Very professional
I had a yard completely overgrown with creeping Charlie. I called a few different companies to get estimates. This company was courteous and very helpful. I got a complete explanation of how and what could be done about the problem. The other company only gave me vague answers and not much info about cost. I was able to get three treatments done before colder weather and I can see the weed is dead. I already signed up for full service for next year. I am very happy with the service and the follow through.
Terrible experience. Lawn Doctor was a major disappointment, as their customer service this spring was the worst I ve seen from any local company. Last fall, lawn doctor over fertilized my yard , leading to some large dead spots. I called them this spring to set up some over-seeding, etc to repair my lawn. I asked if they would give me a better rate, and asked for a call back on what they could do. I never got a call back, or email. I called back 2 weeks later and again was told that they would review my request. This time, I got an email with their basic service package for aeration and over-seeding. No discount to repair damage they caused. I called back again and asked to speak with jerry (the owner). My message was taken, but again...I never got a call back, or personal email. Canceled my subscription with them, and will never use them again. Too many other good choices in town.
Excellent results;thick green grass. Actually thinking about canceling service as I have to mow so often. just kidding... lawn looks fantastic no dandelions even though my neighbors yard has them every where.
Lawn Doctor has taken our weedy lawn and turned it into a lush grassy lawn. They do a great job! I also recommend the Yard Armour, it works!
