Got a lower bill after job was done. When I questioned it got yelled at by the owner's. Very unprofessional don't recommend.

Yikes! has this place gone down in a hurry! What started out as a great relationship has devolved to the point I had to fire them. Steve's did outstanding and timely work for us before (see my original review below). But trying to work with them since has proven to be stressful, frustrating and fruitless. Five missed appointments in just the last two weeks -- and not even the common courtesy to apologize and offering to reschedule. Two recent landscaping projects were not completed and poorly done. Jacob (the owner's 23 year-old son and apparently now running the business) promised to drop by to discuss. He never did. And hasn't contacted me since. That was the last straw. The business is obviously struggling in some way. I'm sympathetic to that, and more than willing to accomodate occasional setbacks. But it only takes a minute or two to call or text me when you can't meet a commitment. Failing that I am no longer sympathetic. Regrettably downgrading Steve's Lawncare from 5 stars to 2. === original review === Steve's LC&L did an awesome job of helping us to design and install our front yard landscaping project. The job also included a tricky paver walkway that turned out much nicer than we had imagined. Jacob and his crew were friendly, courteous, punctual and skillful from our initial meeting and quote, to the final touch-ups. It isn't often that a project turns out much better than we hoped. But this is one of them. We literally couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommended! P.S. Steve's does our weekly mowing, too.

Disappointed. The guys that came out were all very nice. I was having overgrown junipers trimmed and cleaned up. After the 4th time coming out, I specifically showed them and stated, anything that is not a shrub, please pull out. (Vines/Weeds). Wish I could post a picture to show. This is the first time ever posting a negative review, I was just so disappointed that I couldn’t get the job completed.

Our business needed a tree taken down and limbs trimmed on another. The tree was taken down professionally and limbs did not come close to building. Stump was ground and area was cleaned up perfectly. Would highly recommend using this business.

In a time when customer service is a thing of the past, Steve's Lawn Maintenance is an exception. They are flexible and easy to communicate with. You won't get a bot answering your questions, you'll get a real person when you call. And don't be surprised when they drop off cookies and treats for the holidays. I would highly recommend.

Staff is very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. Very impressive by the level of maturity and pride in their work. And of course, their customer service too - going the extra mile and offering to go out of their way to be sure the job was done, and done right.
