Hopefully your insurance is well covered. Your drivers are absolutely reckless.

If you spend a lot of money with them, they are all over it. Once you finish the project and you need help, they wont even return a call or text. I would look to a company that has better follow-up.

We had Mellco Landscaping do our yard and also had them do our backyard pool. We were impressed with the quality of the work. We have had some difficulty communicating with them at times, but Im told that they have remedied that problem.

They were awesome at first but demanded full payment before they were completely finished. Once we paid, they never came back to finish up, leaving a faulty sprinkler system that resulted in dead trees. Tried calling, texting, emailing, etc., with no response. They take your money and run so be sure they are completely done before you give them full payment.

Mellco was great! Everything went smoothly and the employees were very kind.

I d agree great at first BUT any followup issues you get nothing (no response). Our hot tub slab shifted, our lawn is sinking, pool pipes broke, trees died. We ve called, texted, emailed and nothing. Our pool and yard was very expensive. It looks beautiful but the minor repairs should be done. We ve had to have them fixed by someone else at additional cost!

I ve been really disappointed in Mellco. They were recommended to us by a friend and so we had high hopes for them. Jim is a nice enough guy and the process started out really well. They got to work right away and things moved quickly. However, as we have entered the spring months the work has slowed to a crawl and is virtually non existent. Jim started work in February. It is now almost June. He initially told us the work would take 2.5 weeks, a month at most. It s been 3 months now with no end in sight. He tells us every week, the paver guys and plant guys and sprinkler guys will be here this week! And then no one ever shows up. It s been really frustrating. We still don t have a working hot tub, fire pit or water feature. I would not recommend mellco if you want a functioning yard for the summer. We started in February and I doubt it will be complete by the fall.

So I ve never had to deal with this guy, thank goodness, but my sister has and several of her neighbors have as well. He s awful. He tells everyone that he ll be done in a certain amount of time, and months later, literally, it s not done. They call him, text him, email him, nothing. He promises things and then doesn t follow through. He left so many peoples yards unfinished. It s the small things that count and he s ignored all of them. At first, they come in with all the guys, do a bunch of work to make it look like things are really moving along, and then disappear. The last occurrence was my sisters water bill has tripled in the last couple months. The landscaper installed sprinklers and a water feature. My sister also has sitting water in her sprinkler boxes all the time. He sent a guy out 3 times and they said all three times that there wasn t a problem and that they were watering too much. The ground has also been sinking. My sister had the city come out and they confirmed that there is a leak. It s leaking 1 gallon/minute for the last three months. Seriously? Just FYI, he comes in, makes everything sound great, draws a beautiful picture of what your yard will look like, assures you that everything will be done properly and in a timely manner, and then once he s paid, gone. Don t go with him. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

They have trucks going down the freeway with baseball size rocks flying off the top hitting peoples windshields. Try to point out to driver but hes too busy on his cellphone to notice!! Called the company and left a message to call me back and what the situation was but of course NO call back! I was going to share the video of the whole incident with them! How irresponsible!! Obviously does not care about the publics safety!

We had an amazing experience using these guys! We couldn t be happier with the work that they did for us. It was a pleasure to work with them. They had very creative ideas but were also very open to collaborating with our ideas. They are very responsive and usually responded to your calls/texts within minutes. His crew was very attentive to detail, both in terms of making sure it was quality work as well as the final aesthetic look. You can trust these guys and we couldn t have chosen anybody better!! Thank you so much we will refer all our friends/neighbors/family and any person we talk to!!
