Starting using DTL 2 years ago. They were recommended by a friend and former lawn care specialist. Our lawn was questionable although it looked good . I m certain it was neglected for years so wanted attention to restore structure to the lawn. Today, our lawn stands out amongst our neighbors. We re happy having DTL on the job.

I have been a customer of DTL Turf Care for about two seasons now, and am extremely pleased with their service. My past experience with other lawn treatment companies has been disappointing in that although the end product appeared to be acceptable, they failed in customer service and communication. The DTL monthly applicators always come to my front door, greet me and explain the treatment they are providing. This months application was particularly noteworthy in that the applicator Danny provided a detailed explanation of the months treatment, and noted I was probably cutting my lawn too short (3) and recommended I go to 3 1/2 or 4 as the lawn would look richer and greener at the longer length and it would be healthier for my lawn in the long run. He gave me other advice as well such as keeping my blades sharp and addressed specific questions I had. My experience has also been that when DTL treatment applicators service my lawn, I dont have to physically monitor them (as I had to do with other companies), as they have proven to be trustworthy. Communication and trustworthiness are the hallmarks you can expect from DTL. I highly recommend this company, and thank you Danny for your monthly lawn care tips and professionalism. I particularly enjoy it when my neighbors and friends comment on how lush and healthy my lawn always looks.

Contacted these folks concerning major lawn damage we endured. spoke with a rep, sent photos, and was told that we would be contacted back for a visit to our home to review the damage. No contact. Texted twice, no reply. Very disappointing and not very professional.

Two years ago our yard was filled with weeds and pet stains from previous owners. When DTL came out the first time they said to me your grass is about to be transformed into a lush and healthy lawn . DTL has been treating my lawn for the past two years, and my lawn has never looked better. In previous years, I used another company and did not have even close to the same results. They may be a little more expensive than others. In this case you DEFINITELY get what you pay for in terms of service, communication, and results. They came out, gave us an estimated, and set the proper expectation on results. They exceeded our expectations after just one season of treatments. Our lawn now looks as good as our neighbors. Dale and team have been easy to work with and the products they used yielded immediate visual improvement in the healthy parts of my lawn. After some modifications to the lawn at our home, we were struggling with getting healthy, thick grass to grow and were seeming to just get overrun with weeds- we have noticed such a difference in our lawn since starting with DTL Total Turf Care. I was not disappointed, they had large equipment that aerated and put seed down at the same time. I noticed grass coming up within 2 weeks. We have done a lot of construction work around our house over the last couple years and the yard has been impossible for me to fix myself. Dan and his team, in just one season, have completely turned it around and I can finally see the yards potential. They performed their regular maintenance program throughout the year, which helped, but the most noticeable thing they did was to aerate and overseed it during the fall. Excellent service and competitive price

I have used DTL for many years now. I first saw their work as the landscapers at my office building. I hired them to do my landscaping and now they are my treasured lawn care service. My home was new construction with terrible soil and ugly patches of grass that consisted mostly of dandelions and other weeds. I now have a beautiful, thick dark green lawn that is the envy of many of my neighbors. Not a dandelion to be seen!

Representative from this conpany sprayed my lawn without authorization and failed to produce it. When I told him to leave, he became indignate and continuted to trespass and refused to leave my property. He was a certifiable maniac who resused to leave and yelled obscenities after I had to escort him from property. Even then he refused to move his equipment. Police called and only after they arrived did he fully vacate the premises. Based on this experience, my opinion is they do not hire responsible, professional behaving people. His behavior was threatening and disturbing.

We have used DTL for the past few years, and their service has been second to none. The owner, office staff and field techs are extremely professional, friendly and overall the best around and we would recommend them to anyone.

We are lucky enough to live right across the street from Dan. We moved into a new house in December and had nothing but dirt. We finally got the yard graded and seeded in the beginning of June and its the middle of July and we already have grass everywhere thanks to Dan and his team. He treats his own yard as he would yours and mine. I saw a negative review on the smell and I have never smelled a thing when he is treating the grass. DTL has been taking care of weed control for our lawn for 2 years now. When we moved here, the lawn in the front was almost 70% crab grass. There were some bare spots and no matter how hard we worked on mowing/edging it never looked good. Today, the yard looks green and full. Its much easier to do the wedding with a nice result and there are no bare spots. Theyve done a great job and theyve given us great feedback on how to maintain asking with their services. Glad we found them and we will keep using them.

Been using DTL Total Turf Cares lawn services for two years. My lawn was beaten up over the years by heat, pests, and weeds! Looked so bad! DTL came and I subscribed for their year long lawn fertilizing and control program. Also did an aeration and reseeding. the lawn almost immediately looked healthy after a couple treatments. We still have minimal wild violets that are so tough to get rid off. DTL is doing the treatment this year for that. Will keep using DTL for a while to make my lawn keeps looking good.

We had weed control, fertilization and pest control there was but a stray weed on the whole lot all year. i had some products to help with the compaction for new lawns applied with mixed results but this is a professional company who knows what they are doing and i would feel free to reccomend to anyone. Coming from a person who worked in the lawn and landscape field for 35 years i will say this is a very good company.

Our yard has been a challenge as we have large oak trees which steal the water from the grass and shade a large part of the lawn. DTL has done a very good job on our lawn. For about 5 years I have had other lawn services spray our yard and by end of July the grass started to get yellow spots, this year since I have had DTL the grass is green and yard looks beautiful. The first time the DTL rep came I told him about certain spots in yard that needed little more attention and never had to tell him again, he takes care of them every time without me telling him again. Since signing up with DTL Total Turf Care in July 2020, we have been thoroughly satisfied with their services. Dan, Dale, and their crews have had a dramatic impact on our lawn, as compared with our general landscapers efforts and some DYI that I would attempt on a yearly basis. Prior to utilizing DTL Total Turf Cares services, we would have a significant portion of our back lawn that would die each year. I would spend literally hundreds of dollars trying to repair, reseed, and re-establish the lawn myself, and with the help of our general landscaper at times, both of which were highly unsuccessful and had the same end result the following year. However, as soon as we signed up with DTL Total Turf Care, Dan was able to identify that our lawn was a victim of summer disease that was causing our lawn to die each year. Unfortunately, our general landscaper misdiagnosed the issue, costing us a good amount of money to try his attempted remedies, which ultimately failed. But DTL Total Turf Cares disease prevention treatments have been a game changer. It does cost a little bit more up front to have a lawn care specialist on the job, but when I look realistically at the money we were spending to try to repair and regrow grass on a yearly basis, we are still saving money with DTL Total Turf Care, not to mention saving ourselves back-breaking and frustrating work that would ultimately fail each year. Plus, our DTL Total Turf Care lawn is much thicker and greener than our old lawn. But believe it or not, the most attractive component of DTL Total Turf Cares services, which I noticed immediately upon signing up with them, is their superior responsiveness to any and all of our lawn care questions/needs. Whether that be via email or a phone call, they are always responsive within less than 24 hours, and often within only a couple of hours. I cant stress how much this has meant to us, as my general landscaper would routinely ignore emails, phone calls, etc., which would lead to much aggravation on our part, not to mention additional stress about not getting our needs and questions addressed. And I get it, as a self-employed business person myself, I understand the component of unbillable time that responding to emails and phone calls requires. But guess what? This has never once kept DTL Total Turf Care from responding to our needs! In short, I would highly recommend DTL Total Turf Care to anyone, whether you are looking to continue beautifying your lawn, or have specific lawn care challenges that require the attention of a specialized provider. You will love how your lawn looks and not be disappointed!

3 years ago I cleared 15 trees and put in several triaxle loads of top soil and hydroseed on the south side of my property. Nutsedge and clover were aplenty! Ijust couldnt get it to look the way I wanted. After just 1 summer with these guys I have no clover and all the nutsedge (and other weeds) is gone. One picture is before they started treating my lawn, one is the after. You be the judge.

I put out a big Halloween display each year which takes about three weeks to complete. I invited a friend to come see it for the first time. Have had several services over the years but this is the best. Unlike the other services I have used I have never had a complaint. Lawn looks great even in the winter. You get what you pay for.

This is now our second year using DTL and greatly pleased. Very impressed how much of a difference they made in the first year.

My lawn has been a disaster since we purchased the house in 1999. I tried every trick in the book to get grass (and not weeds) to grow. Neighbors told me that no one has ever been able to get grass to grow on our lot. I tried and I failed miserably . At the urging of the neighborhood kid who cut my grass I reached out to DTL and signed on with them 3 seasons ago. Wow - what a difference. Year one was a major improvement. Year two even more so. Year three just completed and it looks amazing. The best part - I ve been asked twice in the past couple weeks if I killed the lawn and re-sodded it? Nope! One of the inquiries came from the kid who recommended DTL in the first place. These guys deliver. They are great at communication, are punctual, discuss options with you, do great work. I went from having the worst lawn in the neighborhood to having the best. So glad my hard work finally paid off .

Couldn t be happier with the service. DTL has been very consultative with my lawn care. I d misidentified the weed overrunning my backyard and had asked for a treatment that would have been ineffective. Rather than just perform the service and collect the money, the tech took the time to show me what we were actually dealing with and recommended an alternative approach to repairing my yard. Previously, I tried 2 big name lawn care services, and always felt like a number. Just a box to check off and collect payment. I gave Dan a call 5 years ago at the recommendation of a friend. He brought a personal approach to my lawn, and I genuinely feel like he cared what my lawn looked like. When he first started, I had large patches of bare spots where I had killed off lots of crab grass and was unsuccessful in regrowing grass. DTL SAVED our lawn! Dale and his team are amazing! He came out, did an assessment within the SAME week we called. He was very direct with us and assured us that he would take care of our lawn. He didnt promise that he could do it quickly but was honest in what it would take for us to get that lush green lawn. He explained to us how he would go about doing all the steps and made sure we were on the same page. 1 year later, my lawn is SO lush! I am actually excited to go out and do yard work! We have a 2 year old who loves going outside and I do not have to worry about dangerous chemicals in our grass. DTL gave us great service and were always being there if we had questions. We hired DTL in 2018 to help fix our lawn. We built our house in 2016, and by 2018, the contractor seed hadnt taken well, we had crabgrass and clover everywhere and were ready for a professional service to help. Dan and the team did an awesome job in fixing our issues, recommending a plan and executing on that plan. 18 months later and our lawn looks great. Even coming out of July and August last year where we got zero rain, the lawn bounced back immediately and is clearly better looking than our neighbors. I would absolutely recommend Dan and DTL.

At the end of the season last year our lawn literally looked like a war zone. We noticed that this PGA endorsed service wouldn t even put up their sign anymore after a lawn treatment. We use Dog Rocks which we have seen to reduce urinating on our grass and it seems to work well. Do you have any other suggestions.

I started with DTL in the fall of 2019. Once I spoke to Dan and walked my property I knew they were the right choice. Dan and Dale are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, prompt, and fairly priced. During the spring of 2020 my yard never looked better. All my friends and family that came over were blown away by the property. Towards the end of the summer months I had an invasion of Japanese Stiltgrass across my yard. I emailed Dan and asked him to come by and look at everything. Im not crazy about my yard, but as Dan put it to me, Im very particular..Lol. We walked the property that day and Dan was clearly unhappy with what he was seeing. He was there that day to do a treatment, but during that visit he made a proposal I wasnt expecting. He said lets not do this treatment today, we need to kill your entire yard! I wasnt prepared for that, but he went on to explain how expensive it is to treat stiltgrass. That he would do it if I wanted to, but it was not worth my money. That doing the treatment he was there to do was also a waste of money if I was willing to trust him with a lawn renovation service. Boy am I glad I trusted Dan! They came in and killed everything off (before picture) and then came back to spot treat and make sure they didnt miss anything. Then seeding day came. Dan and his employees were on site working on my yard for over 3 hours!! I couldnt believe the attention to detail and the work they put in. Then the waiting began. I followed Dans watering recommendation religiously, he couldnt stress enough how important that is for new yards. Its been five weeks now and Dan was just out to do my final treatment of the year. We both couldnt be happier with how my lawn looks (after picture)!! I trusted Dan and his team to get my yard to where I want it, and I know for sure I made the right choice. DTL is EXPERT and PROFESSIONAL lawn care providers that have undertaken my lawn from the 1st day I hired them. I moved into a new house and was left with a yard that was unsatisfactory to me, full of stone, and some underlying debris. I tried over-seeding, treating, and watering my lawn on my own for a while until I decided to throw in the towel and go with neighborly advice of using DTL for their aeration, over-seeding, and lawn treatment plan. I honestly can t believe the results I ve seen in just 1-1.5 years, even for a portion of my lot that is sloped.
