I have had Competitive come out for years to fertilize, and when I had shoulder surgery last year, asked them to do the mowing for several months. Not only was the price fair, they let me cancel when I was able to mow again. I had a concern once, and Carl was sure to f/u with an email and the conversation continued until it was resolved. I have used Competitive Lawn Service for several years to care for my large, nearly 3/4 acre, yard. My yard is filled with many trees, shrubs, flower beds, and vegetable and berry gardens. My crew, Arturo, Eduardo, Javier, & Alejandro are professional and skillful in efficiently navigating around all of these, while producing a well manicured lawn. The entire crew is very friendly and helpful with any special request or questions. They provide good service at a fair price and have a client portal to let you easily manage your account, autopay, and service dates.

We paid for Christmas lights installed. They cashed our check on 10-26-21. And we have no lights. We called four times asking for someone to call us and still no call back.

I have used Competitive Lawn Service in the past for various lawn and landscape needs and they have always done an outstanding job. Like any lawn company, they get delayed due to weather and numerous issues out of their control, but they have always done an excellent job for me.

Legitimately the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I m not quite sure how people can say they do an amazing job, but in my experience thus far, you definitely don t get what you pay for. My husband and I pre-paid the entire season because we received a small discount. We were excited to try these guys because they had great reviews, and our experience with our last landscaper was not the best(I ve ultimately learned that no landscaper has great customer service or does an amazing job). We started out on the wrong foot when our lawn was not cut until the last week of May FOR THE SEASON. Granted, May had the most rain ever on record, but typically, landscapers will cut the grass the next day or two after it rains. We literally did not have our lawn cut in April or May until the last week. We called numerous times, left numerous messages for Chuck and sent emails. Long story short, after close to 10 phone calls and several emails, the company admitted they had been cutting the wrong lawn. If they would have called me back one of the 10 times I had called, they would have known that they were not cutting our lawn. We also pay extra to have the clippings picked up after lawn service. It is in our contract. We have now had our grass cut two times this season and the clippings were never picked up. The grass was also cut very poorly. It s almost like the blades are not sharpened. I do not recommend these landscapers to anyone. I will also not be using them next year. I am stuck using them this year because we pre-paid, but I will never make that mistake again. Do yourself a favor and find somebody else.

Customer service is non-existent. They didnt come for about 10 days and our lawn was getting out of control. After calling and leaving several messages, we never heard back. We thought maybe Competitive had gone out of business, so we called another landscaping company and they came out and cut our lawn. Now Competitive is back cutting our lawn also, so our lawn is being cut twice each week. Weve left 6 or 7 voicemails and cannot cancel our service because Competitive never answers their phone and never returns phone calls. I would look somewhere else for landscapers and definitely dont set up automatic payments.
