After giving my address, company quoted me $307 to do the work. When I received their bill, it was $604!!!! Twice what I was quoted! Bad business practice...baiting with their quotes.

Workers only stopped for a short lunch. They worked very fast to clean up my yard, and finished with the beds all mulched up.

Kirk and the team did a great job and everything came out as expected. They were able to dig trenches and add piping up from my downspouts to divert water away from the house as well as fix up an issue with a Crack in my sump pump tube.

Had the rain spouts put under ground. Kirk had to dig up the yard and and run pipe to the street. After the job was done they reseeded the grass.

They treat their workers like they dont exhist and they fire u with out telling u why they fired u and they dont lay mulch right most of the jobs that have been done nearly have mulch in their beds I had the do a job at my Nanas house and I checked the mulch after they left and it bairly even covered the flower beds we called them and ask for someone to come out so we could show them and no one even came out we asked for the mulch bed to be 1/2 inch thick and ur lucky if it is even 1/16 thick on the mulch beds worest service we ever found we will never call them to do any work even when they mowed our yard they left grass clumps laying everywhere this company is a sad company to all they care about is their money and not making customers homes look nice

I ve been suggesting my husband call this company for a while based on other reviews to do the mulching as it s a lot of work and he finally listened. His comment to me when they were done was why didn t he call them sooner. The team did the mulching , weeding, and edging and the yard looks fabulous. First week of service the lawn wasn t cut just rode over. Company claimed grass wasn t high enough. I sent pictures of grass over 3.5 and they said they couldn t tell it was over 3.5. So I was billed and lawn was not cut. Second week, now the mower can t fit through my fence gate. Other mowers have before its around 54 wide and they did the first week. But that s ok the equipment can t fit I understand so how about a push mower as my back fenced in yard is only about 25% of the property anyway (small property). Push mower broke and crew left my back yard half done after uneven weed whacking some grass areas. Front yard still nothing except trim. Manager comes out and says they will come back to fix back yard but the service is being cancelled because the mowers can t fit. Why can t the majority of my yard, not fenced, be serviced? Instead they just cancel my service after billing second week while not completing the job, again. Service, quality and professionalism when visiting property need improvement.

Horrible customer communication Skills. I do not know how they stay in business. Submitted request for estimate via their website and got immediate automated response back that they would be in touch. They were a no show to scheduled appointment without notice. I called to inquire why said they would call me the next day to reschedule, they didn t. Left another vmail , received no response and finally left another vmail on main number. No response either. Save yourself from disappointment and not engage this business.

The crew worked diligently today with our spring cleanup in all our our flower beds. A lot of weeds took over due to the mild winter and they worked hard today to clear them out. After the weeding, edging, trimming and mulching, the finished product look great!

They arrived and went right to work. The group worked well as a team and did what was agreed to. The crew was knowledgeable, hard working, polite, and good-natured. Lots of shale in my yard which made putting in the drain more challenging. The team kept at it and put in a much needed drainage system. The sodding and use of river rock looks great.

I just started using Kirk s this year and I must say I am impressed with the lawn-mowing quality and the ease of billing. On-time billing was a terrible issue with my last mower. The guys come in, mow the lawn, weed my plants and bushes (an extra service but worth it) and when they leave I get my bill (already paid with autopay). Simple as that! And if there are any issues (like rain delay) Kirk is very responsive. I ll be taking advantage of more services offered by Kirk.

Loved the work that was completed. My flower beds around the house look amazing. They even did part of the yard that is not ours, but they did miss trimming 2 bushes and did not trim enough off one of the butterfly trees in our beds. They also missed a bush by our front door that collects leaves and the bed by our mailbox was missed. By far, one of the easiest companies to work with. Their communication, estimates, billing, etc. are all very efficiently done via technology. The cleanup and mulch work the team did was great. Shrubs were nicely trimmed, and care was taken not to trim off any buds from flowering bushes/hydrangeas as it was late spring. Mulch was neatly laid and everything was left clean upon completion. I also cant leave out the most important part.... they sent us brownies as a Thank you ... whats not to love about that ;-)

The website has an easy interface for receiving the quote, accepting it or not, seeing the scheduled appointments, receiving invoices, and making payments. The quote came in very quickly after requesting them and the team was out the next week to start the work. They were neat, personable, and ON TIME!!! It was very easy dealing with this business.

Kirk evaluated the property in person, and took the time to understand my expectations of the aerating and overseeding services. He was able to source the specific grass seed to achieve the look I want for the property. There is a noticeable difference in work quality when you go with Kirk s; they were on-site for 3 hours ensuring complete coverage and set up the lawn to pop next year.

Kirk s Lawn Care is one of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We had a rather big job as we had an inground, fiberglass pool installed in August. I started interviewing landscapers back in April, and felt very at ease and comfortable with Kirk. He came to my house and we designed a plan for around the pool. His quotes are so detailed, with pictures of all the plants and information on how to care for them. It was also so easy to pay. You can do it all online. After the pool was installed, our lawn was left a mess, as to be expected. I was a bit nervous, but had faith that Kirk s Lawn Care would make it look much better. It didn t look much better, it looked absolutely amazing and stunning and beyond what I expected it to look like!! Will, Kyle and Brian did amazing work. They were here for two full days and worked extremely hard each day. They had such a great personalities. Asking us where we wanted things to be planted and making sure we were happy. Overall, Kirks Lawn Care did a good job mowing the lawn. Some weeks better than others, where some weeks they missed a few small spots. Sometimes they were perhaps rushed and sped quickly around the yard, finishing our acre in 15 minutes or less, which may have caused the occasional missed spots, but no spots were continually missed week after week. As far as cost, I have used two different services for lawn mowing over the last few years, the first, used for about 5 years, and a smaller operation, retired from service just before the 2022 season, and the results were about the same, but Kirks was about 40% higher in price. Generally, I was please with the quality of service Kirks provided, but I may have shopped around a bit for price in 2023. If all were comparable, I would have stayed with Kirks for the known quality.

We have used Kirk s Lawn Care for 10+ years for all needs of lawn maintenance. They are professional, on time and very responsive to any questions. They offer a wide variety of services including wedding/ mulching gardens and trimming of bushes. I would highly recommend.

Generally a good job. Pretty quick which is great. Could have done a little better cleaning beds. Could be better as far as personal contact to go over details of job. Process seems a little impersonal. Dont get me wrong, Im satisfied but Im not blown away and feeling like that was money well spent.

So easy to do business with. Over the years I have gradually moved all of my lawn maintenance and landscaping work over to them and I have not been disappointed. The work is quality and the people professional. Perhaps best of all, they are great at communicating. Things happen that are out of their control (weather, covid protocols, equipment breakdowns) but youll never need to call and find out what happened, they will have given you the heads up far in advance. Often times they are in time anyway! I can sign all quotes on my phone and pay with my cc on file with one click. If youd prefer an old school outfit that undercuts the competition (then complains about the agreed upon amount), only wants cash, and everything is a phone call...they may not be for you.

I cant even begin to say how happy I am with the service I received. Our flower beds and tree beds were pretty gnarly and one bed was infested with thistle. I received an estimate within a day and less than a week later Kirks team was at my house taking care of business. I have never trimmed our bushes and they made them look so nice I feel like the house has looked the best it ever has. I will DEFINITELY be using them again.

Did a good job aerating my lawn but was also supposed to be over seeded. I only saw a few areas that had seed applied and it was as minimal. Could have been a machine malfunction so no worries I m planning on seeding it myself. Communication was good throughout.

I received a text and email with a quote that same evening. After accepting the job, a week and a half later I received a text and email that I was scheduled for the job. The guys arrived around 7:15am on the scheduled day, they were very professional and polite. We have garden beds that go completely around our house with lots of plants, shrubs and trees. Kirk has been great. Hes the only one I found that communicates and bills using the internet. Its much easier to keep in touch with him via email and keep track of billing notices via paypal. And with all that the service is great and very well priced.

I had a strange experience with this company this weekend. I contacted them through their websites Free Online Quote option on Saturday to schedule an estimate for landscaping/yard work. I got an automated email back saying the company would be in touch to schedule an estimate, which was great. A few hours later, we noticed their truck drive by our house, reverse, idle in front of our house for a minute or two, then drive on. I didnt hear anything back from the company that day either by email or phone. The following day, I received an email that said the company was too busy at this time and they couldnt take on any extra work. I found this very odd for a few reasons: 1) why would they bother driving out to my property if they didnt have availability for new customers? 2) If they didnt want to take on my request for a valid reason, I wish they would have just shared that with me up front. 3) I wish they had informed me in the initial response that an employee may drive by the property to get a visual before making an estimate. This approach felt invasive and sneaky. Overall, I found this interaction to be extremely unprofessional and Im glad that Kirks Lawn Care showed their true colors before I hired them as a landscape provider.

Kirk and his team are great. They are fast and efficient, and they clean up after themselves. They dont leave behind big clumps of grass clippings. I had a bad case of thistle that was in overgrowing my flower beds and into my grass. I thought the only answer would be to nuke it from orbit, just to be sure. But Kirks team was able to do a special treatment that eliminated about 99% of it. Now I only get the occasional sprout of thistle that I can pull myself. There mulching is great and the lawn mowing is excellent. Website is user-friendly. The email updates and invoices are great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone.

Firstly, this is NOT a personal attack on Kirk or his team. As a person he is pleasant, and courteous, as were his helpers. My problem lies in the lack of attention to details. I hired Kirk to reestablish my grass, clean up some debris, and to mulch a few new beds I installed. I will freely admit that I did change the scope of work a time or two, while waiting for the job to start (postponed a few times). That being said Kirk, myself, and his team met in my back yard the morning he was doing the work and I explained what I was expecting. I was very disappointed in the final result. I feel that subpar materials were used (top soil was mostly wood chips - or there wasnt enough and he mixed it with mulch), and that they cut corners on the harder work and went overboard on the easier aesthetics. Several weeks later and I still have huge low spots in my yard, that he was to fill and seed, only half of the seed has taken, he mulched areas I specifically asked him not to, that I now have to take out (and he charged me an extra $200!!!! for), he charged me to remove debris which is still in a pile in my back yard, and charged me to lay straw over the new seed which he never did. The excuse was it would blow into the new beds. Ok... thats fair... but there are other materials. Straw matting would have been acceptable. But instead he left it, and the seed was left to the wind and the birds. I did water it twice every day. I am NOT saying not to do business with Kirk, but I am saying be extremely clear on what you want done, make sure it is ALL spelled out in detail, in writing and inspect immediately after. Its a shame as Kirk really is a nice guy, but I expected so much more for the very high price I paid to fix my tiny yard. ******* UPDATE******* And the response speaks volumes. There is a recurring theme here. Youve been paid in full as agreed plus the extra that I didnt sign off on, and to indicate otherwise is slander. Your right... I waited to see if things would improve. They didnt. I realized I was screwed and paid. I did reach out to you about the yard not being covered and the cold weather that was coming. All of your software emails go to spam and I told you this before. I never received any surveys either. Ill kindly remind you that my entire yard is covered by security cameras and they were on that day. Care to change your response now, Mr Brown? Ive remained polite. I wish you could have done the same. Youve got your money...

Kirks is an excellent Lawn Service. One of the best features is the excellent communication I have received. With the rainy weather we had this season I was constantly informed about possible changes to the schedule due to the weather. I was also very impressed by the fact that they checked out the lawn condition before they mowed it. My backyard gets very waterlogged when it rains heavy and on several occasions they did not mow my backyard and let me know. That was something no other company has ever done and I am greatly thankful for their concern and not having to look at major waterfilled ruts in the backyard. If you are looking for a lawn mower service, you found it in Kirks.

Well the response was quick. They are too busy if your job is anything but easy regular lawn care. I guess if you need your grass cut they might do it.
