I don't normally do this, and we have given the company plenty of time and chances to make it right, and they refuse. DO NOT HIRE TRUE GREEN!!!! We are super embarrassed by our grass, TRUE GREEN has ruined it!!! We hired them in February of last year to take care of our lawn, and our grass has gradually gotten worse, and worse with EVERY True Green visit. We were told it gets bad before it gets better. Well almost a year later and now we have bald spots and where the grass was is now weeds. My husband called in November to cancel our service with them. They tried to upsell him with high-pressure sales techniques...... there is nothing more infuriating than when you call a company to cancel their horrible service and they try to sell more services. After he was finally able to cancel, they still came out while we were on vacation (out of the country mind you, and unavailable), and just decided they were going to do" a service" without our permission and then.... charge us for it. We just got off the phone with yet ANOTHER rep trying to "make it right", by trying to sell us another packet. We WILL NOT ALLOW TRUE GREEN BACK ON OUR PROPERTY!!!!
Justin is a “5 Star” technician. He always shows up friendly and with a smile. He’s extremely knowledgeable on all facets of his job, ie; grass, weeds and pests.
Justin Always does a Great job. Usually he will talk with me about my concerns and pay attention to those and guide me with information about them. Unfortunately today I wasn't available but look forward to his next visit.
Justin Godwin has been treating my lawn for several years, he has it looking great! He is always helpful and provides me pointers for improving my lawn. He and his Trugreen associates can be trusted to provide professional lawn care services.
I am highly disappointed with my interaction with the gentlemen I talked to today. My mother called and set up an appointment with them before she found out I was having a friend come take care of the lawn maintenance for free, due to my mother having money issues. Instead of the guy being understanding about the situation he caught an attitude with me. I will not be recommending them to anyone because of this. Nor will I be calling them to come and do the maintenance on my husband's 84 lot mobile home park he just bought.
The gentlemen my wife talked to was extremely rude to her when she called to cancel an appointment my mother in law set up. The reason she canceled is because I had a friend come by to take care of her lawn for free seeing as she is struggling with money right now. Instead of being understanding the guy caught an attitude about the whole situation. It's sad because I own a mobile home park that I was going to see about having then do because they come highly recommended by a few people after the way my wife was talked to I will be looking into other options in the area.
TruGreen has been great. The lawn specialist, Trevor does a great job and is very attentive to my lawns needs. Thank you for the great customer service.
Justin Godwin, 163670, did an outstanding job, as usual. He was professional, knows his job extremely well and is a pleasure to do business with. 2 years ago they killed my lawn! It was awful, However I stuck with them n they offered to restore my law. Two years forward n a full no cost lawn restoration n I must say I have the best lawn in the neighborhood!! The new team r caring n attentive to details all around! Trevor! The technician, he was Awsome n knowledgeable in his field. He even did a soil test!! Givem another chance like I did. It s well worth it. Thank you!
Had a great lawn 15 years with Lucky Lawn. Now in one year Tru green has wiped out my back yard. You cannot speak to a supervisor or get any answers. Do not give these idiots any of your business.

They came out at least a dozen times over the past 11 months. My lawn looks worse now than it originally did. They rescheduled at least 8 times, making it very difficult for someone to be there when they finally did show up. Save your money!
We used Lucky Lawn and always had great service. TruGreen recently took over and we have had horrible service ever since. A guy arrived at our house at 10:59am to apply an application and was gone at 11:04am. We have security cameras that verified this. Our yard is over an acre so draw your own conclusions. I called customer service and was told that they would have someone come back the next Monday and reapply the application. Well, he was a no show so I called customer service again to be told that I should be aware that they could change our service date at will. I did not know that but dont necessarily have an issue with it, however, you would think it would be common courtsey to inform a prepaid customer that the schedule had changed. They did send someone back out 2 days after my last call. I wanted others to know of our experience. We are about to cancel our service.
I used Lucky Lawn and was very happy. TruGreen bought out Lucky Lawn and its not the same level of service. Plus, they have been coming once a month instead of every 3 months or so as Lucky Lawn did - yet I was told I would be on the same program I always was? When you call customer service you do not get anyone local. When you email customer service, they may take several days to get to it. Last, with Lucky Lawn they were specific about the treatment for your lawn that day and instructions (water it in within 48 hours, dont mow or rake for a couple of days, etc.) TruGreen gives zero instruction. I plan to switch to a compant that is locally owned and operated.
The quality of service has dropped tremendously over the past 2 years. After 4 phone calls & 2 extra service calls, my lawn is still covered in weeds. They didnt send anyone out to meet with me & wouldnt put me in contact with the local office. The last technician didnt even bother to leave a note/printout of what was done. I cancelled service today.
Arrived at 11:50 today, completed service at 11:51. I was home and never saw him in my backyard. Doubt he did the front in 1 minute. Not the first time this has happened.
I have been using TruGreen for several years now and I have enjoyed not seeing all the weeds in my yard anymore
