Did not send invoice on time. Paid over $10000 and they keep charged trigger check over 12 times. And cancel the service right before the snow storm. Dont trust. They charge 0.25 ac lot for $800 to clean. They definitely overcharge. Asked drop off the check even snow storm day.

Extremely inconsiderate to surrounding residential areas as you clean your commercial properties (a church sitting in the middle of a neighborhood). Start blowing and mowing at 6:30 AM! Ill be sure to send video to as proof along with the noise complaint. Blowing leaves into residents yards after we spend ALL weekend cleaning up, you come through cleaning your commercial properties (a church sitting in the middle of a neighborhood) and trash neighboring yards. Unprofessional. Rude. I dont get paid to blow leaves. However, you do.

March 2022 - I was told they no longer do residential landscaping, despite what their website says.

I recently bought a new home and hired several service providers to update and remodel the house. I hired Horizon to install 100+ feet of redwood fence. Kurt came out and we discussed the job in detail including the use of hot dipped fasteners to prevent reaction with tannins leading to black streaks. Theystarted the job later than expected. The crew came out and set posts. But I noticed they didnt set posts on the second run. I contacted Kurt. After some delay he told me theyd be set the next week. When the crew returned they had no idea what Kurt and I agreed to. After I explained the job continued. The fence looked great. Then it rained the next week and my fence was full of black streaks. I contacted Kurt twice and he finally got back to me and tried to lie until he realized I understood the implications and then offered to sand and seal the fence. But I had already paid a deposit to have that done (by a Painter) so we agreed on a small discount. I immediately paid the balance due. A couple weeks later I received an early morning phone call seeking the overdue balance. I called and explained they needed to talk to Kurt. As a last bit of salt in the wound I contacted the other fencing company in Denver that does redwood to fence the remaining unfenced area. When we discussed pricing it became clear that Horizon charged $20 a foot more for the same fencing. This was by far the worst experience Ive had with a Denver contractor.

I see these guys all the time by my job never had an issue. Today one of them whistled at me when I walked out of my job. Made me super uncomfortable. Like have you never seen a woman before ?

Bruce and his team preformed the most fabulous job in expanding our patio. Their work was excellent and their commitments and follow through were spot on. I would highly recommend them as a company of integrity and excellence.

They were a big help with the problem for another customer.

Kurt was very rude on the phone. I was a little late to my appointment and he was very dismissive to me. Sorry I didn t have your phone number to call you. Do not recommend calling and talking to this company. Didn t even get a estimate after all that.

I had a pretty straightforward weed control, edging, and mulching project that Horizon did a great job on. The crew exceeded my expectations in making everything look well-groomed and cleaned up their work areas completely before they left. I plan to use them again and would refer them to family and friends.

This was my first time using Horizon Landscape & Irrigation and couldnt be happier with the stone work they did. Kelly Riley is great to work with, so responsive to questions and or concerns I might have had. Workers showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, reattached existing drip system. The old rotting railroad ties were replaced with a beautiful stone Kelly suggested, and matched my back deck and walkways. I was no longer using a water fountain and they filled it in with soil, repositioned the water feature and the rock surrounding it....looks beautiful as a focal feature now without all the maintenance. I highly recommend them.

Kelly and his crew did an excellent job on both our front and back yards. His communication, job planning, and execution exceeded our expectations. They were even flexible to us making some changes midway through the job. I highly recommend this crew!

I used Horizon Landscape & Irrigation three years ago after I removed a large pine tree and wanted to have the area landscaped. They were very professional, did a great job of removing and replacing the soil, helped me choose the correct flowers for Colorado, and created a very pretty area with flowers and grass which are all still healthy today! I also use Horizon for my sprinkler system needs and continue to be impressed with their customer service and that the service person is always on time and thorough. I am happy to recommend them!

Horizon Landscaping did a superior job in landscaping my small backyard. Kelly Riley put together a perfect design with little input from me. The team that did the work were extremely professional and hardworking. I am extremely pleased with final result and highly recommend Horizon Landscape. They are by far the best in Colorado.

This is an update to my 5 star review from last year. This year to my dismay, a dozen of the shrubs we had Horizon install last year failed to come back. I contacted Horizon and was put in touch with Bruce. Bruce explained possible reasons I was not seeing leaves, and we agreed to wait a few weeks. When the shrubs failed to come back, Bruce made a site visit and confirmed the shrubs had not made it through the winter. A couple of weeks ago, the Horizon truck pulled up in front of my house with big leafy new shrubs. My yard is once again looking fantastic! When I inked the deal to hire Horizon last year, it was in the hope that if there was an issue it quickly become a non issue. I was pleased to see this was in fact the case. Horizon stood by their work and the quality of the plants they installed. You are not likely to get this commitment for customer satisfaction from many places, but you will get it from Horizon. Next time I have a big landscaping project to do, I know who I will call. Thanks Horizon! ---------- I contacted Horizon Landscaping and Irrigation after purchasing a home last summer. Bruce came out and we discussed the project as I envisioned it and he quickly produced a quote. Unfortunately, I had to clear a few hurdles to make this project possible, and winter waits for no one. Bruce stayed in contact with me over the course of the winter, and this past week Horizon had a crew complete my project in just a few days. Everyone on the crew was professional and hard working and left me with a fantastic looking yard! Give them a call, you wont be disappointed.

I had a residencial fence and gate installed in the front part of my property. The entire process was very prompt and professional, and the finished product was quite stunning. I have received many compliments from the neighbors and friends. I think it looks terrific, and so well crafted, and I am very very proud. The entire fencing crew is the best!

The person who now runs the fencing division of Horizon is an old friend and I have done business with Kurt for years. I called to find him here and was very pleased with the product a service from Horizon. I will hire them again.

They do good work and most of all their reliable.

My Arbor Vitae did not make it through the summer, so I met Bruce at the nursery and he recommended possible replacements. Seeing the trees in person was essential as pictures on the internet vary wildly. Bruce and his team were able to plant all of the trees before a Fathers Day party I held for my family and his team did a wonderful job.

Had new cedar fence put in that included 2 new gates. Excellent and timely work. No surprises with final costs - was exactly what they told me it would be before work started. Watching the guys do the work it was clear they were committed to perfection - getting things exactly level, precision with where the posts were along my fence line, clean up of everything when they were done, both gate swings perfectly. I can give my highest recommendation for the work, honoring time frame to get it done, and quality of materials used.

Landscaping and tree(s) planting was done in the heat of the summer by Bruces crew professionally with a sense of urgency that amazed not only myself and my wife, but neighbors that watched the installation. A job well done!

Work performed did not match what was agreed to. I walked the yard with the supervisor and salesperson and discussed exactly what needed to be done (which was in the proposal). The end result didnt match what we discussed or agreed to. After attempting to work out a compromise to get the situation rectified the work was still done wrong. Overall a disappointing experience.

Kurt and his crew came out to adjust some gates and replace posts, work was done in timely and efficient manner, no inconvenience whatsoever, I highly recommend.

The company is hired by my HOA for snow removal. Their snowplow hit and damaged my garage door. When I called them, Kathy, the account manager, was honest about the mistake and offered to repair or replace the garage door depending on how bad the damages were. I hired a third party garage door company for an estimate and was advised to replace the door due to three out of the four panels were bent or cracked. Long story short, they took care of the payment for the replacement like they promised and the whole process was rather painless.

Hired Horizon to replace a split rail fence, and remove and replace rock. Very responsive, reasonably priced. They did an awesome job. Very impressed how hard the crew worked, and how clean they left the work site. Would highly recommend!!

Horizon worked with me to design, build and install a unique fence for the perimeter of my property in Leadville, Colorado. It was a reasonably large job. The price was fair and the experienced crew even finished the welded steel and wood installation in a timely way......in 3 feet of snow! I recommend them.

We selected from her suggestions and a crew of hard working men came and did the work quickly and well. They cleaned up everything perfectly when they were finished. We contracted with Horizon to remove a large pine tree in our front yard and to then sod this area. They did a terrific job from start to finish. They arrived when scheduled. Horizon did a major landscape job for us. Bruce was very responsive and easy to work with. They were very professional and hard working. All the workers were respectful of our property. They arrived each morning promptly and made a lot of progress each day. When we made a change in the middle of the job, they took it all in stride. As with all of the job, they wanted to do things our way and not their way, although they were happy to render an opinion when asked.

Bruce (owner) made time to meet me on site right away to discuss my scope of work, got a me a fair proposal, and got me on the schedule in short order. His on site crew did an excellent job completing the scope quickly and were very good about communicating issues as they arose and even made some great suggestions on how the design and function of certain pieces of my scope could be greatly improved. We had a great experience all around. Thank You!

Bruce and his crew did an excellent job helping us with our landscaping project. We werent quite sure what to do with the space, but Bruce came up with a plan, and allowed us to make modifications to it with some plant substitutions and our favorite mulch. I also want to add that one of the new plants didnt make it, but Bruces team came and replaced it. We get a lot of compliments on our new yard, and we always tell them that Horizon Landscaping did it - heres the number!

The paver-patio that Horizon installed for us last winter has now weathered Winter, Spring, and Summer, and it remains a great addition to our back yard. The changes in our irrigation system have worked out well, and the patio is very attractive. Clearly, the workers who installed it took pride in their work. We also found Laura Wessels very agreeable to work with during the advance planning, and with her cooperation were able to work out the project to fit our budget. We reccomend this company to anyone who is interested in similar work.

My experience with this company is heartbreaking. Ive lived in my house for 20plus years and they spray insecticides and herbicides without any warning or postings. leaving our neighbors pets at risk. They chop down perennial plants like they are weeds. If you are a landscape company I would think you would be more careful. A landscape isnt just grass. The lilys that they chopped down were just getting ready to bloom. I dont understand how a company like yours would hire people that would do that.

Ive never use them for landscaping but I got stuck behind a driver who has no business driving a truck and trailer representing this company. going 10 under in the fast lane he slowed down a significant amount of people who are unable to pass him when we were finally able to get by after a good 15 miles behind the driver he flipped us off. Hello! I had to write a good review about these guys after having Horizon Landscaping service our property for approximately 3 years!!! I have been a board member for seven years and president for 3 of those 7 years for the Prospect Park townhouse property. We hired Horizon to replace a previous landscaper, who was not getting the job done. Horizon has been fantastic. I worked with Vicky and now with Lance in coordinating the work on the property. The work done by Horizon Landscapers has been consistent, professional, accurate and excellent!!! We had them do concrete work to replace rotting concrete steps and their work was great. Horizon installed locking control panel covers, locking electrical boxes and back flow cages to combat theft on our property. Awesome job. Our property is locked down and no more free copper for the robbers in our area. Their landscaping work is the best of their services. They do a great job of raking all of the leaves in the autumn season. Zero leaves are on the property after they are done. They do a great job shoveling and plowing snow in the winter. Their work cutting the grass and trimming the bushes are a work of art during the spring/summer. They empty out the dog trash cans and keep our dog bag dispensers well stocked. Most importantly, Lance, the boss, is attentive and responsive to the needs of this property. Any problems with the work, Lance does a great job in addressing any issue we have. I cannot say enough and there is much to be said about the great work that Lance and his crew have done for our property. Our property always looks brand new and I am proud to live here and take pride at the how well maintained Horizon keeps our property. Highly recommend Horizon Landscaping.
