We have been using Earth Kind for our lawn for a couple years and they have brought life back to our yard. It was left in a horrible state by the builder and we have been so pleased with the results in just 2 years using Earth Kind. Towards the end of Mar 2023 was when Earthkind services carried out their first service for my lawn that included the application of Top Dressing, Turf Blend Soil Mix Spreading, Soil conditioner & seeding. After about two weeks, the result was a greener lawn. Earth Kind services team are professional & responsive.

We have used Earth Kind for their composting service before and it made a huge difference for our lawn. Our lawn suffered over the hot summer with poor soil quality. One of their team called me to discuss the best options and the yard seems to already be improved after only a week. They spread compost throughout and I was most happy about the cleanliness. They were careful to keep the compost off of walkways and step stones in the yard. It s a wonderful product and they provide a great service. Will be using them many times over in the future

Our grass started thinning last year and we realized our soil was depleted. Earth Kind Services applied compost to our lawn for the first time in early March. We have used Earthkind Services for many years now and have always had a beautiful yard. The past couple of winters, plus our new 65# lab fur baby took its toll on our back yard. I called Beau out to ask what we could do to try and save the lawn in addition to our regular fertilizing. We were both skeptical it could be saved, but he gave me several options we could try short of putting in all new grass(because I can t keep my dogs off of it to let it take hold). I went with the premium organic compost and Organic Lawn Fertilization using exclusively Microlife Organic/Biological Fertilizers - 4 times a year (Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter). I can tell you it hasn t been 3 weeks since the application, but where dead roots were and dirt only, I actually have little sprouts of grass coming up! I am hoping this is a sign that I won t have to re-sod the back. Beau was very honest about whether the back could be saved and didn t and never does pressure me about what to do. The front yard didn t suffer as bad as the back because four dogs weren t tearing it up but I still had them put 1 layer of compost on it as opposed to the 2 layers in back. I love that they are on time and notify me by text when they get here so I can unlock the gate and secure my dogs. I love that he answers my questions in email or via text within a day. I trust Beau to make the right decisions for our lawn. He uses on organic which is a plus for us with our dogs. Anyone who uses a company they aren t happy with anymore for fertilizing and other things, I d recommend to at least give Beau a call or check out his website. I don t usually write reviews unless I am truly happy and truly satisfied with a product or service. I am both of those with Earthkind.

I shopped around looking for a professional service to perform Top Dressing on my existing residential lawn. I found Earth Kind Services and spoke to sale rep Beau who was responsive and professional, and he met me at my home to discuss the work. He showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. He reviewed my lot from google earth maps and already had an estimate of my lot square footage. We agreed on a service and price and scheduled the work. The crew (Tristen and Jessie) arrived on scheduled date and on time. Great guys and very meticulous in their work in getting the job done correctly. They have top notch truck and spreader equipment as well. They cleaned up afterwards, gave me some lawn care advice regarding watering general care and then they were on their way. I also purchased their quaterly organic fertilizer program, and look forward to seeing what this program (compost + innoculant + feedings) will do to boost the health of my lawn. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking such services.

A professional job from start to finish. Beau Propes took the time to inspect and clearly explain our lawn soil condition, his recommendations, and why. He was always easy to work with, adapting the application schedule based on weather (rain) and other landscape work we were having done. He and his team always showed up when promised and on time. The application process of Top Dressing and Soil Conditioner was very efficient. His crew took the time to first walk the property with me and confirm what the plan was and what was to be treated. They then went straight to work, completing the treatment and cleaning up afterwards. Our lawn was in terrible shape: weeds, thin areas, etc. Our lawn service recommended earthkinds, and Im delighted with the results. They added top dressing and humectants--whatever they are. As a result, the lawn is looking greener and healthier.

Beau s crew came out today 5/27/22 and applied their 50/50 compost/sand mix to my over 14k SF yard. They were originally scheduled to come out on 6/16/22 but they had an opening for today so Beau emailed and texted me yesterday asking if they could do it today. I said yes of course as I needed it bad. His crew was professional, explained the product and process, and cleaned up good. Can t wait to see the results in a couple/few weeks! I would highly recommend this company and their services to anybody!

Earth Kind services has done a great job for our lawn. It has never been so healthy, thick and pretty looking. Throughout the years, weve used several different lawn treatment companies and the results cannot compare to our lawn under Earth Kind services care. Earth Kind only uses natural products on your lawn, never harmful chemicals. We have used their compost and topsoil service, as well as the year round fertilization applications for lawn and bushes. The compost does smell strongly for a few days, but the end result is beautiful lawns and healthy plants and trees!

Earth Kind spreads compost on the lawn. My lawn is doing very well and I feel that the added compost is the reason.

I used Earth Kind Services to add compost and nutrients to my lawn in the North Dallas area. With 9,500 sq ft of front lawn, it is daunting to consider adding topsoil by hand or doing so while ensuring an even distribution. I selected Earth Kind Service specifically because they use spreading equipment that distributes an even coat, and they did just that. I was also pleased to discover that they offer more than just compost to treat the soil. With their equipment, they were able to quickly and evenly distribute the compost, and the other materials I selected, across my entire lawn (three sections and the strip by the street). They cleaned up the sidewalks and left my yard looking great. My soil is pretty deficient in nutrients, so I signed up for quarterly treatments with the hopes of revitalizing the soil: my lawn really needs it. The jury is still out on whether that happens, but it should. I will add another post in late spring as an update, but as far as application is concerned, you cant beat their service.

Since switching to feeding my lawn rather than treating it with chemicals, it is doing much better at controlling all the things we used to treat for and is overall much healthier.

Beau and his Team did a great job adding Top soil and Compost to our back yard that really needed leveling in some spots but a good soil dressing on all. They were on time , did a great job applying then blew off any solid/compost that got on walk way or patio , and diid not leave until I walked over the job. There is no way I could have done this myself to get this much soil/compost applied. Eloy ( spelling ) The Tech was great.

I have used Earth Kind Services for several years now. They always put a generous topping on the lawn to help it stay healthy. In October of 2020, I tried a new service that had the topping and fescue grass seed since my backyard was looking beat up from two big dogs. Within a few weeks the grass was growing in and looked ok, but we had some spots that appeared not to get enough seed. Beau and his team came out and redid the whole lawn--they could have just hit those spots. With proper watering it all filled in nicely. All while the big dogs ran around on it. I was a bit concerned with a cool season fescue in that I would be mowing the grass in the winter but to my surprise it really did not grow once we hit end of Dec. and then started to grow in early March again. It stayed green all winter long--even during the big Texas freeze that got down to zero degrees, held up to the big dogs and still looked great. We do have a few one foot round spots where dogs like to pee that are brown, so not perfect but much better than the Bermuda and weeds that were back there. We will see how well it holds up during the summer if at all. Did well in shade under oak trees as well. The owner, Beau, is a very nice guy that is easy to work with, respectful and customer service oriented.

the quality of their top dressing for Zosia grass is perfect for our grass and it also helps give nutrients to the grass and our trees. Great crews with really good equipment that does an excellent job with even coverage

Im not sure why its so hard to get someone to topdress/compost a lawn. Ive been asking various lawn service people for 5 years and mostly they werent interested. My lawn wasnt big enough or its just too much hard work. I was given the info on Earth Kind by the company that does my regular lawn weed/fertilizer treatments. I arranged w/ Beau to topdress my lawn, which has been looking like sadness and regret b/c the sod was applied over the limestone and clay. Eloi (sp?) was here RIGHT ON TIME and did a great job and cleaned up fantastically. I had a double thickness applied and I felt it was very reasonable. I know I heard my lawn sigh with relief.

Our yard looked like a dustbowl, we reached out to Earth Kind to see what our options were and decided to get our yard seeded. Im 100% satisfied with the results we got our yard seeded on 3/23 and on 4/2 there is a very NOTICEABLE difference. I wish I could post pictures.

My lawn was just done and it looks great. The two guys did a good job and although I would have liked for them to spend a bit more time cleaning/blowing the driveway and patio, overall, I am extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend Earth Kind Services.

We had a great experience having our lawn top-dressed by Earth Kind. Beau was great to work with and always quick to respond to emails or calls. The day after our service it rained 3.5 inches in a couple of hours and we lost a lot of soil. I called to see what could be done and they came back out to fill in what was lost and only charged a nominal fee. I highly recommend them!

Compost worked so well for me last year that I just had it done again this year. After three weeks, Im already seeing great results with my St. Augustine grass. Not only are the bare spots filling in, but the existing grass just looks so green and healthy! I will definitely be an ongoing customer. I like being able to contact a person at Earth Kind to ask any questions. Beau is knowledgeable and always responsive. I also believe they do what is only needed in the best interest of the customer, so that is much appreciated.

Our yard was SO bare. Sod companies were quoting $7000 to replace it. I contacted Beau after seeing before and after pictures on the website. He came out and added top soil and Bermuda seed. Our yard is covered in thick beautiful grass not even 6 weeks later. We tried to reseed ourselves last summer it wasn t even 1/4 as successful. Our yard looks like we did resod, and we saved so much money! The price is so fair, and the results are amazing! The service guys are professional and prompt. Have used several lawn service companies with standard programs, regardless of the type of grass in your lawn. Their service is satisfactory but typically isnt customized for the needs of your lawn. Beau laid a 50/50 compost/leveling mix in my Zoysia lawn and told me to give a month to show meaningful results. Within 2 weeks, the lawn was completely transformed. When Ive had follow up issues regarding disease or other lawn issues, Beau has offered to drop by to check it out and spot treat as needed. On top of it all, his organic bias is especially welcome if you have kids and pets in the yard, vs. the alternative of several applications of chemicals annually. Ive checked out much of the competition and I highly recommend Beau and Earth Kind.

My St Augustine lawn was getting overrun by Bermuda grass. The top layer of compost helped the lawn retain water better (no run off), and loosened up the clay base soil we have in Dallas. It was magic. My lawn had the best year Ive ever seen. Ive had them out to the house 3 times now (2 top soil and 1 mulch for the beds) and I will continue to do so. I highly recommend not only the soil for the lawn, but specifically Earth Kind themselves. The owner is classy, responsive, and organized. He even authorized applications of some cool new soil-based fertilizer product for free to address a bare patch that was developing - and it worked like a charm. The guys that have some to property gave watering instructions, lawn care tips, and just good information about my lawn. The are courteous, helpful, and calmly addressed any questions I developed. Its rare to find a lawn care company that focuses on just a specific service so they can do it perfectly. Earth Kind has mastered their craft and my lawn is a testament to the topsoil compost being worth every penny.

Very knowledgable and our lawn could not look better! Our St Augustine lawn was looking brown, bare and the weeds were taking over. Beau applied a probiotic to the affected areas, where he saw that we had Take All Root Rot fungus and applied a wonderful layer of compost top dressing. The St Augustine came back completely thick and lush and choked out the weeds. The bare spots are almost completely filled in. We could not be more pleased with the results.

We have the nicest yard on the street! We get compliments all the time. We do most of the same things to our yard as our neighbors do (fertilize, water, weed control, etc).
