Weed Man Lawn Care in Delta

The absolute worst company to deal with, right up there with Diamond Parking. They continue to charge you for services even after you have cancelled your service. After repeatedly calling and telling them you no longer want anything they continue on charging. Stay away! Now my aunt is continuing to get billed after selling her house last August and she did the same thing and called up to cancel it at the same time she sold. I d give a lower star if possible

Weedman did an excellent job for us. Living on two acres made it difficult to keep the weeds down but after Weedman came a few times the weeds were minimal .

2024 09 25: I have used the Weed Man for many years with annual contracts for various lawn care products and services (e.g. moss control, fertilizer, weed control, core aeration and occasionally top dressing and re-seeding). They provide good service and fair value. I recommend Weed Man for your lawn care needs.

Weed Man Lawn Care is the most professional lawn service - I have tried a few others and Weed Man is the best way to go. Our lawn has never been better - with the timely applications of each procedure the lawn seemed to get better and better, and I am very happy.

I couldnt easily or kindly dismiss the nice gentalman that was encouraging me to use their services. I clearly stated I would not provide my contact info unless they were willing to recieve a bad review for the high pressure, long & drawn out sales tactics. I told them I was not interested, but had to keep repeating this as he always had another but wait theres more type of pitch. The salesman was clearly warned, if I give him my contact info and I get solicited, there will be a bad review. He persisted, and now here we are. They have contacted me multiple times. I have asked them to take me off the call list. Response to the owner: Thats ok. If your staff is not reliably taking prospects off the call list, then I will get another solicitation call. All my calls are auto recorded (Xiaomi phone). These recorded calls and the doorbell video of me clearly stating I will only exchange my contact into for a bad review will make a nice youtube video. Obviously Jon Smith is not my real name. So if you wish to avoid being shamed on youtube, then you best ensure I dont get another call. Perhaps the best way to avoid the shaming is to remove everyone off your do not call but call anyway list for the last few years. That dragnet would be enough to keep me quiet.

I reached out in July this year to ask for a quote. Worst mistake ever. Since then, they have been calling me non stop every day trying to get my business. I have already explained the situation and clearly stated that I am not interested in any service. At this point, even if I did, I would not use this company. A few months later, they blow up my phone again every day. Would never recommend to anyone. Stop harassing me!

Since taking their service, my own had become a lot healthier. Weeds are mostly gone. There were a few patches of weeds outside the lawn, that kept pollinating into the lawn. When I told them about it, they were kind enough to spray the weeds outside the lawn as well.

We are very disappointed with Weedman. We were told by a sales rep that we would be very happy with our lawn by the end of the summer, and that if there were ever a problem, we could call and they d send a technician out to assess and deal with it within a day or two. Instead, they ve continually tried to upsell us on services that we assumed would be included or not needed based on their initial assessment. The one time I requested weed control reapplication, I was told no because they re no longer booking summer reapplications (what happened to call us any time?). And honestly, our lawn isn t looking that great. We could have saved a ton of money and done this ourselves probably better!

Sherveen was very professional

This was my first year using their service. Sherveen has been amazing, he mentioned to me that my lawn could take up to 3 or 4 visits for weed control and he came back every time to get it done. Unfortunately my reseeding didn t take in the spring, but they ll be back on the fall to reapply the seeding at no extra charge. They are happy when you re happy. I knew my lawn was going to be a task for them to take on, but so far I m happy and seeing results.

Once again Sukhman has provided us with caring, professional service for our lawns...much appreciated.

Weedman weed killer solutions DO NOT WORK. I will challenge whomever that says their solution works on weeds. They have come and treated my garden weeds several times. Absolutely nothing has happened to weeds. It does not work. Save your money.

Have used Weed man for a few years after new lawn put in. We had weeds in our old lawn that resisted all efforts to control so when the new one was put in we called Weed Man. Now after several years any weeds that occur are taken care of so the lawn stays in good shape. I dont have to remember to do lawn care at proper intervals which didnt always happen before. Sherveen stopped by today for weed Maitenance - he was polite and professional and accomodatwd to a requests i had for weed control around some stones. It s all about attitude and he was awesome and made me happy to be a customer !

They should have a zero. They completely ruined my lawn in a matter of a year. By two years it was destroyed. Looked worse then when they started. All they did was keep saying they would send out to do another application. Meanwhile, my lawn was gone and replaced with weeds that never went away despite applications. Then they charged me for fertilizer application, which i never received and told them that. Despite a history of issues with them, they sent the bill of $88 to a collection agency rather than refunding or working things out.. Luckily, I kept the text messages stating it was canceled. They then cancelled the collection agency. Use a different company.

Would not use a company that has to go door to door to gain customers

I needed to reschedule my missed appointment, 11 days later still no date. Called to cancel account as they will not give one 90 yr old customer a phone call because they only text or email but they have many people who answer their phones. Not all seniors have a cell phone or computer. I was only asking for one customer to be called to advise of the new appointment time, not everyone. They dont need my business as they have many customers in a day.

Havent used the company & dont plan on it. Whoever they have going door to door looking for business pressured my 13 year old into giving them my phone number & wouldnt take no for an answer. Received a quote by text with the option to STOP further messages (which I did). Started receiving daily phone calls without a voicemail which I initially ignored. Finally picked up the phone today once I Googled the number & found out who kept calling. Guy on the phone didnt seem to want to take no for an answer either. A+ for effort. Zero stars for professionalism

Absolutely love the services we have had thus far with Weedman! The technicians have been very professional, thorough, and kind. We even forgot some dog toys on the lawn, and he kindly moved them for us :) was so nice to be rid of the moss! As a previous DIYer, I love having the peace of mind knowing all I have to do is mow and water! Looking forward to the rest of the season with you. Thank you Weedman!

Couple of weeks ago, I called Weedman to inquire about Chafer beetles and general lawncare. The person I contacted was friendly but extremely persistent. I mentioned that I would have to get back to him to confirm but he wouldnt take no for an answer and said that I could change the plan (ie. cancel), anytime without question as long as the service had not started. Since I had to call back anyway to change the plan or confirm, I might as well book the Spring package. He then quoted me a deal which sounded really good as he said he was a retention agent. Later in the evening, I decided to change my mind because I felt too pressured in the moment and called to cancel. Unfortunately it was after hours and I had to wait until regular office hours on Monday. Throughout the weekend, I got spam calls from them on both Saturday and Sunday (even though I had already said yes at that point). On Monday, I called to cancel and the agent cancelled me right away, but when he asked me why I had decided to cancel it, I told him I just dont trust Weedman. He scoffed/chuckled at me and that was it. I was about to explain myself, but clearly the reaction I received says it all. I hung up and here I am posting on a public forum. Oh, they havent stopped calling me since and I have had to block their number.

Arrived on time as promised, completed the moss control spraying professionally and returned a week later to perform the fertilizer application, again on time as promised .

They have turned a brown, weedy, mossing, patchy mess into a green lush vibrant lawn which we can really enjoy!!! Didnt need to replace our lawn!

Worst customer service ever! All friendly and professional until they sign you up. They require a credit card number in order to get a quote. Then good luck trying to get them again! There are so many franchises, and every number gets you a new call centre. All day yesterday, every franchise service line was down! Messages are not returned and in the end when I finally got someone and asked to cancel the service, they told me they were not able to send a cancellation confirmation! Finally got one, after 14 calls! Beware!

Im only commenting on the customer service and harrassment Ive recieved from this company. Ive never had servicing from them. There was a salesman that approached my house and peer pressured me to give my number for a free quote. I flat out told him no and that I was not interested but he would not leave. I finally gave in and gave my number for the free quote. Since then Ive recieved a call everyday. This company calls me and doesnt leave a voicemail with a message, just a voicemail with nobody speaking. Ive called many times for my number to be taken off their list. Only for them to laugh at me and say this is what customer service is ok Ill take your number off the list. THEN THEY PROCEED TO CALL ME AGAIN THE NEXT DAY. Ive been left no choice but to install a caller id app to prevent them from leaving voicemails with no messages. This issue has been going on for one month now.

Hi, I have cancelled my services in Feb 2023 and they sent me a confirmation for cancellation as well. They continued to send invoices and charge my credit card until, I blocked my card. Then they sent collection notices. I requested them to correct it but them never listened. I will never recommend them to my contacts. Very disappointed.

I ordered their services on April 17th and before May. 7th, there was just one guy came and did something I didnt recognize at all. The customer lady told me it was nutrition, but my lawn is almost dead, whats that for? I called to cancel their services and customer service people promised me a full refund. Guess what, I paid $406 and I got $345.78 back. I paid $50 for nothing. Dont bother to call them again and I wrote review here. Simple and straight, I had very very bad experience with them.

I was not sure of the quality of product and service I was going to get when I signed up... but I am very glad I did. The team at Weed Man Delta has been fantastic. They are very responsive, the advice given has been spot on and the services provided has been excellent. I am not sure why I didnt do it years ago.

I have had the service for the past two years, with this year being the second year. I primarily have the weed services for the Grub package that Weedman offers. I am unsure how effective it is and only time will tell or until the crows stop coming back, but the product used for tackling weeds is not that great. I have had several new weeds form on the grass, now even extending from the lawn to my hedges, which is separated by a concrete curb. Weedman does offer free reapplications which is great, but for having their service for almost two years now, I am unsure if I would consider renewing again with the new weeds forming.

I tried the service and found the weed control to be reasonable. I then tried the grub control and it was entirely ineffective, when they recently phoned to sell me on grub control this year I declined and encountered firm resistance from the sales person. I requested to cancel all services. I was told I could not cancel service with him and would need to phone the office. I phoned the office and waited on hold for 1hr and 3 minutes. I gave up. They seem to have created a system where you cant cancel the service if you wish to do so.

Each individual that came out provided their knowledge and expertise on the weeds and horsetail which was helpful as I was told by many that I was stuck with the horsetail forever. Over the past few weeks I ve noticed some of them are withering away and I m getting some greener grass

Do not use their services products do not work everything is watered down worst service . I had them work around my high end home joke biggest jokes . Do not use there services . The owner said I never paid I have video footage from all my cameras of application being applied 50 percent only at times also charging me for grass seeds not spreading them and I had my grass cutter tell me they never did ntn and all these good reviews on here are from employees do not use there services go to home depot cheaper trust me the owners push sales team . Aeration I was charged for never done also . They sent out a rookie 2 I agree with owner I stopped communicated with them not cause I owed 456 . Because its a headache I told them fix problem over and over 2 someone came than I called again they never solved anything so yes I will not pay 456 unless results are shown simple . They never sent a senior tech out to inspect anything worst company

I have used weed man for two seasons now. My lawn is brown and full of weeds. I have told them about this numerous times and they always say they will send someone out to do another application. There are more weeds than ever before. If I could post photos here I would. I also water the lawn very frequently early morning.

Harassment, they took our number down in 2022 when someonecame to the door. We got no service done. It is currently Nov 2023. They have been calling non-stop. They have called me Nov 2, 3,6,7,9,10,16, and today the 21st. This is as far as my call display will go. We had advised take us off the call list mutple times. Never provide your phone.

I reached out in July this year to ask for a quote for a one-time lawn mow. At the time, I didnt know they did not provide this service. No problem: I found someone else to do the job. Since then, they have been falling me incessantly (Jul 21, 24, 25, 31, Aug 2, Nov 1, 7, 14, 17, 20, 21, 22, 24). I have already explained the situation and clearly stated that I am not interested in any service. Again, I needed the lawn mowed one time. Its November, everything is dead, there is nothing to mow. I do not require any weeding services. At this point, even if I did, I would not use this company. Do not tell me to reach out so that you can rectify the issue. Rectify the issue by not harassing me.

Had an issue regarding Weed Man service, they were quick and responsive to fix all the issues. Will be using there services in the future.

They said they would redo the work they didnt do correctly. Offered to correct it this year from last now they want another $2000. They are a complete rip off. Had to have them come back so many times to correct work its not funny. Out $2000 and lawn looks horrible.

These guys came and sprayed my whole lawn with moss killer. I never called them, they were supposed to do my neighbours. I called them and at first they said you got a free service. I told them that Ive tried to treat the moss before and Id much rather just keep my grass short and at least its Green(shouldnt have to explain myself). They said a manager would get back to me. That was over a week ago. We get a black yard for spring.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful, especially Carl. They fulfilled all my requests and answered my questions. They have an awesome image and I would recommend them.

I been told $440 for 8 visits so 8 equals payments of $55. Guy came first day literally spent 5 minutes did 2 quick rounds around house and saw charges on my account 2 $69. Called CS and they said whats the difference your last payment will even everything. But this was not the way when I bought service. Now been told can t refund. Won t recommend at all. Total rip-off. And what visit mean can come and do 5 rounds and charge 5 visits so.

I received a letter(attached) stating that we have a contract and are billing us $387.67. We Do Not have a contract with weedman. We never consented to have a contract. We did not agree to sign up to any program. We only agreed to one spray, to which your employee said it was Free. When your employee called on May 31st, my wife and I specifically said we didnt want their service. An employee showed up again on the June 6th. June 6th, my wife called to TERMINATE ALL SERVICE. And it was verbally confirmed over the phone that we were not billed at all. And that we have no contract. But this letter you sent is billing us $387.67.

This was the first time using Weedman Richmond BC. They have been very professional with great follow up and our lawn looks terrific.

Nicest lawn on the block since I discontinued my services. I had less weeds before I signed up. Plus, their free services are free for them, free overhead, free labour because they dont show up. Second bad experience with them.

I canceled my service for this year. They called to follow up. When I said I was canceling my service, the lady hung up while I was talking. Overall this isnt a bad company, they provide a good service, it wasnt great but it wasnt bad either but to hang up on a customer is unacceptable, I was polite, I just didnt want to renew. Maybe theyre only nice if they have your business....

Very sleezy company, They got my phone number and wanted to start service on my home, told them Im not interested... They called 3 times a day, told them Im not interested and blocked the number... They started calling from a different phone number, blocked that too... They call everyday 3 times a day... All of a sudden I start receiving 3-4 calls a day from scammers (CRA Scammers) so Weedman obviously has given them access to their phone information... What a bad sleezy company, there are a lot of better smaller companies that do a good job for cheaper prices...

They have been calling me 1-2 times a day for almost 2 years and its pretty terrible. I blocked the number but they keep calling. They call about 10-15 minutes after 5pm but when I call back an automated message says they close at 5pm. Why are you calling me if youre closed? I finally got through recently and asked to put my number on their no call list and I have had several calls since then. The lady on the phone was not helpful and even asked if I wanted a quote. Its been a terrible experience and I would not recommend giving them your phone number. Absolutely awful.

We have used the Weedman for a number of years. Particularly impressive has been the responsiveness when here and there the new mandated less powerful weed control materials required some re-application. Their personnel are very friendly and helpful. We intend to use their services for years to come.

They never inform when they are coming and you keep getting invoices. Even when you cancel the service you still get invoices. Never ever sign up. Far too much is hidden and not disclosed

Bought a package at the tail end of summer. They have come out and have provided 3/4 of package so far. They promise unlimited weed spray re applications if not satisfied. I have been requesting a re spray for 4 weeks now. Its sheduled oh someone cxld it Ill put a rush order on it lots of excuses so far. We will have Dr Lawn? come look at it I will change review if they ever change service level.

My front yard has a ton of weeds and I basically gave up on trying to pull them. Finally I decided to give Weed Man a call. They have applied three treatments so far, 1 moss control, 1 seeding and the spring weed treatment. Had my mom over for Mother s Day and she was impressed with how healthy my lawn looked. I haven t seen a single weed pop up on my lawn since the treatment and the grass looks like it s on steroids. Ya it is spring but there is definitely a difference. They are as advertised and great staff who were able to answer my concerns.

NEVER USE THESE GUYS! The entire set up is a scam and when you have a dispute they will not try to resolve. The will not let you speak to a manager and they will give excuses like our phones are broken we couldnt call you back. They withheld my money for services they didnt provide and are impossible to deal with. This is the first time I have left a review... but I just had to let others know how crooked they are. They showed up once and the guy was in and out of here in minutes. No evidence he did anything.
