Kieth did a great job of trimming the hedge I hired him for. He was professional, conscientious and courteous. He has a great work ethic and is reasonably priced. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend his business to friends and family.

Didnt show up to give us a quote on said day, left a 1 star review a few days later and then they feel its ok to randomly show up at our house without contacting us to try and finally do the quote dont waste your time just call someone else

Mark Twaites from Jim s Mowing overhauled my front garden area and he did an amazing job, my neighbours are now inspired to do the same. He was fast & went over & above. Highly recommend!

absolutely horrible service. i was dealing with Adam for the tri-cities area. I started the quote process in March, had to follow up to get the quote by April 29, then had to follow up several times to get a date of when the service would be done. Finally ended up calling head office & got a commitment for a June date, he didn t show up. He rescheduled, didn t show ip again. Gave him one more chance, didn t show up AGAIN! Called head office to share my experience, said they d call me back & NOTHING. Now it s end of July and all landscapers are booked for the summer so I ve wasted all this time giving them a chance for nothing. Absolutely horrendous service.

I have never been so dissatisfied with the service from a landscaping company. From head office communication to the grounds keeper and quality of work.I have placed two calls for a manager from Jims to call me directly and they have not done so. As for the work I find it very poor service to charge $65 for a job that has twice not been done correctly and two only was at the location no more than 11-17minutes each time. Thats shows the lack of customer service and quality.

Garry Elgear @ Jim s Mowing installed a sprinkler system for me that was top notch. Very approachable, honest and gets the job done. Could not have given the work to a better team!

I regret to say that my experience with Jims Mowing Glenrosa/ Daniel Black was extremely disappointing, despite the commendable efforts of their hardworking employees. The professionalism and diligence exhibited by the workers were overshadowed by the managements severe shortcomings. The owner/boss, regrettably, lacks the essential qualities of effective leadership. Not only did they display rudeness and a lack of professionalism, but they also showcased a troubling disregard for their employees well-being. It was deeply concerning to learn of the issues faced by the diligent individuals responsible for the exceptional work performed. Furthermore, the owners evident lack of experience and their pushy demeanor created an uncomfortable environment. Their behavior was nothing short of disrespectful, and it significantly tainted what could have been a positive engagement with the business.

We had Jim s Mowing, Greg, Susanna and team in twice in the past two weeks to do spring maintenance on our yard and we were extremely happy with their work. The yard looks like a new yard. Would definitely recommend this team for your yard maintenance!!

Not only did Keith handled my hedges with care, he made sure I was completely satisfied with the work performed along the way. I went with Jims mowing thinking they would be professional and their quality of work and service would be in line with their brand. Boy was I wrong. No communication from the franchisee and their work is poor or incomplete. I wont be renewing for next year and I dont recommend them at all.

I contacted Bal in Surrey for a quote on some blackberry bush removal that I had been working on myself and didnt have the time to finish. I had only started the work as other landscapers looked at the job and walked away with no interest. Bal knew what was needed, had contacts for the right tools for the job, and the price was very good. I should have called him first, and wont hesitate to do so next time!

I got in touch with Jim s mowing and was happy to find that they would do this job for me. Antonio came, looked over the job and gave me a quote, I found the price reasonable and he was able to fit me into his schedule promptly. He is professional and friendly, I am very happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone needing yard work done.

Garry is very knowledgeable with regards to irrigation systems and was able to resolve several problems to ensure it is works more efficiently. Very professional as well.

I hired Aidan OConnor for tree and shrub clean up. He was good and efficient in his work, he even trimmed the weeds under the trees and cleaned up very thoroughly. I would recommend Aidan for anybody needing help with their yard.

I called Jim s Mowing as we were listing our house and I wanted to tidy up the yard. We were paired with Garry Elgear and the service was so great that we kept it in place for the rest of the summer while we were busy packing and getting ready for our move. Garry was great about being flexible and allowing me to have a 2 week schedule as it was easier for me to manage with my small dogs, he made the effort to come out an extra time the day before our open houses to tidy the edges and really listened to me when I said the weeds in the sidewalk cracks were my most disliked feature of my yard as he took care of them whenever they started cropping up again. We will miss you Garry and will definitely leave a note for the new owners to give you a call.

Did a spectacular job.

I had Annabelle and William do my lawn care and shrub pruning. They were professional, friendly and efficient. They cleaned my driveway and rid all edging of weeds, this was not included in my request, I was extremely happy. I would highly recommend these two ambitious hard workers!!

I just had Annabelle and Will come and aerate and fertilize my lawn. Annabelle was my point of contact, she was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive to all my questions. I was scheduled for them to arrive in the early afternoon but they showed up even earlier then expected. Both Annabelle and Will were great to speak with and seemed like genuinely nice people. Will did an amazing job aerating while Annabelle completed the fertilizer application. I will definitely be using Annabelle and Will again!

I first met Bal when he came to give an estimate with some work I needed done on the side of my house. I needed it cleared out, leveled, and covered with gravel to make it look more appealing. He was very professional and asked questions to clearly know what i wanted. I could tell right away that he took pride in his work and really wanted to make sure that he had all the information needed. He and his crew came a couple of times to complete the work. I am extremely pleased by the results. He went out of his way to make sure that the job was done well. He communicates well and he even did a little extra stuff around the job site because he just wanted to make sure it was done to the highest degree. I highly recommend getting in touch with Bal and his crew if you want quality work done around your house. Finally, I really enjoyed conversing with Bal. Flavio from Jim s Mowing, Aloha Estates trimmed up all the yards in our complex of 4 in the spring. He was on time, did an excellent job and took all the trimmings away. Then I called him again last week to have an undesirable bush removed, he came right away to check out what needed to be done and sent a quote, then today was here first thing to remove it and tidy everything up.

Bal and his team at Jims NE Newton provide a level of service and quality I quite honestly didnt expect. From the first time I used them in the beginning of 2020 getting my front yard in order to the most recent work on the backyard, I have not been disappointed. He was very personable, attentive and honest with what could be done in this 2019 fall season. I appreciated Seans attendance just for a quote. It felt much harder to get other companies to come and give me an idea of what their cost might be.

Jim McKellar is the kind of man who will go above and beyond for his customers. He is respectful, accommodating, personable and thorough. I have always been happy with his work. One thing that impressed me greatly was when he was doing some landscaping for me and gave me a specific quote for the job. Once he began it was obvious that the hours estimated would be exceeded to complete the job we agreed upon. When most companies may have then renegotiated or complained he did neither. He completed the job for the previously agreed upon price even though I knew he wasnt going to make money on it. From that moment I knew I would hire him for every yard job I had.
