Came quickly, very professional and great job!

Nice older gentlemen as owner but needs to adjust with modern today s times. Terrible service and a lack of patience, hung up on me and cancelled Job at day of install.

Total was absolutely fabulous! They did a great job grooming my landscaping and handled a pretty serious drainage issue the very next day after meeting me to look at what was involved, and completed the work at a very reasonable price.

I have lived on the ocean for over 20 years now and I have always struggled with groundskeepers doing a decent job. I have tried many, many companies and yet I have never found one that can do a detailed and good job. Now I am using Total Maintenance and after their first visit I was so pleasantly impressed with their attention to detail and perfection. My property has never looked this good in 20 years! Wow! I m adding an update after using Total Maintenance for a year. They have done a great job and everything is well maintained.

Once again, Sal and the Total Maintenance team come through! This time with tune up of lawn sprinkler heads and palm tree trimming. The palms were laden with coconuts and needed a moderate amount of trimming. Those palm fronds and coconuts are heavy! Also, the team did a throughout tune up of the sprinkler system - evaluating flow and replacing broken heads. Thank you Total Landscaping! Highly recommend.

Bad service and discourteous owner

We have been with total maintenance inc. Since 2018. Recommended by our neighbor when we bought then. They do all kinds of landscape work so they maintain even irrigation. Install drainage for flooding issues in driveway and it works.They also have thier own nursery for products. They are consistent on general mowing and grounds on a regular schedule. Repair service is very quick and done right the first time. They work and suggested plants when doing design, that is important to know here in Fl since heat and sun duration are key to what survives. Never an issue with the crews and if you ask them to do something it gets done. That s service!

They were very courteous, polite and hard working! Our patio involved relocating a sprinkler head and removal of several large plantings, and the installation of some new plantings around a new patio made of attractive brick pavers. It was finished off with new mulch in all the garden beds. And all of this was completed in just one day! We couldnt be happier! Total Maintenance did a complete overhaul of our landscaping including a new palm tree 5 years ago and have been providing maintenance ever since. The landscaping still looks awesome! We are very pleased with both the initial job and the continued maintenance.

Total maintenance did very meticulous and professional job by performing thorough clean up of the whole yard in one day. The vegetation was quite overgrown and packed with tall trees. It was not an easy job, and I m very pleased with the final result. They also did a spotless job of pressure cleaning the outside grounds. I highly recommend Total Maintenance Landscape!

Sal and his team were fantastic! Sal designed a beautiful upgrade to our front and back yards that involved a lot of changes. They completed the entire project in 2 days, as promised, including planting, installing lighting, replacing mulch with river rocks, and repairing uneven pavers on our pool deck. The results are even better than expected. There were minor changes to the original estimate as the project progressed, but Sal kept me informed of these and gave me options so I never felt like I was being surprised or forced to pay more.

Friends have been using Sal for years and are very happy with him. I have a lot of landscaping and many palms that really needed a good cleaning, and an area that we decided to change. I met him Tuesday and he took his time surveying everything carefully and listened to my concerns and opinions. After he gave me a very fair quote, we planned on starting the next day. His crew was incredible. They worked the entire day, did a beautiful job, and left my yard, patio and driveway in pristine condition. Not only that, they came back the next day to address the area we wanted to change. Again, beautifully done and left neatly. My husband and I are very pleased with Sal and Total Maintenance and are looking forward to a long relationship knowing he/they will be in charge of all of our lawn care needs.

Sal did a beautiful job designing our condo building s entryway which had zones of direct sun, partial sun and shade. Neighbors are stopping by to complement the work. Sal was on-sight overseeing the entire project which was installed over two days, exactly as promised. The crew left the worksite clean and neat both days and were attentive to the safety of elderly persons needing to use the walkway during the work days. We were instructed on proper care for the new plantings. Magnificent company that we highly recommend.

We are very pleased with Total Maintenance. We hired them to do our lawn service a couple of years ago along with some extra plantings and tree trimmings. Sal and his crew are quick to respond, excellent at what they do, and are extremely tidy. Recently, we hired them to plant, tile work, and even adjust the size of the pool equipment on another property we own. The work was nearly instantaneous and beautifully done, and Sal s quote was very fair. Also, in the wake of Hurricane Dorian we were lazy about our coconut palms, even though Sal did send us a text reminding us, with a very fair quote, which was ignored. Needless to say, we called him and his crew was here the next day - Saturday- to take care of our potential dangerous missiles. Great company!

READ THE OTHER REVIEWS. I wish I had. The owner Sal is full of empty promises, lies and deceit...SO PLEASE BE WARNED. I hate posting negative reviews, but this was by far our worst experience with a landscaper. Where do we begin...ugh. First red flag was being charged for 5 sod pallets that didnt arrive for nearly 2 months after we moved in to our home. He prebilled us $800 to order the best sod available in S. FL then the waiting game began. It was either the weather was too wet or too dry or his sod guy was out or the sod was not the right cut or whatever he wanted to make up each time we called for a status. And mind you, we had to follow up each time with him. It was never him calling us to give an update. We had no choice but to wait. Meanwhile we had also hired him out to trim and clip our palms trees. We have 12 total on our property. We obviously know how many we have, but he invoiced us for 18 (@ $35 a tree) I guess to see if wed catch it. When I questioned him, his excuse was, oh I have 500 accounts, that might have been an error. Can you believe it!? Of course he adjusted it and rebilled us for the correct amount, but then demanded payment in 3 days!! Up to then we paid by check to avoid his additional 3% credit card convenience fee but when we didnt pay within his 3-day demand, he charged our card!!! Again as if to say screw you. He is either extremely bold or just simply doesnt care. Shouldve been another huge red flag. But we carried on. Then he went the whole month in February charging us for lawn service (supposed to be 3x a month) without cutting ONCE while we were out of town, which he knew we were gone. And only because we have a great neighbor who noticed the grass unkept and took photos for us. Naturally he already billed us for that month and we had an invoice in our mail waiting when we returned with a $145 charge for February lawn care. When confronted with the photos, another complete lie. This time he said his crew messed up our address. Theyve been to our home 4 or 5 times!! Never once did he seem apologetic or sorry. It was always one excuse or another. We have since parted ways with him. WE JUST WANT OTHERS TO BE AWARE OF HIS DECEPTION AND DISHONESTY. Read the other reviews. Its not just us, youll see a trend. We sure wish we did before giving him nearly $1,500 in shoddy business. And or grass is brown.

We had Sal and his team do an overhaul of all the landscaping in the front of our house and could not be happier with the results. Sals knowledge and expertise in landscape design are really top notch, and have received many compliments from our neighbors. We have a great working relationship with Sal, and he is very proactive in assessing potential issues in our landscaping giving us great advice and options to address our issues. We look forward to working with him in the future and finishing out the sides and backyard. **UPDATE Stay away from this company at all costs. Unfortunately we learned the hard way that Sal is not an honorable person. He charges money for monthly service in advance and then doesnt fulfill his obligations. Our arrangement was that he comes 3 times a month for the 9 months of the year the grass grows, then 2 times a month when it slows. Well, we were lucky to get him to show once a month. When confronted about this its always the same excuse. The weather put us behind and we couldnt get to you. I had two neighbors on our street discontinue his service because he was pulling this nonsense with them as well. Even when I asked for a credit for service missed he said no because he doesnt want to start a precedent. Even though the work he did to overhaul the landscaping in our front yard looked very nice. He mistakenly put shade plants in an areas that got full sun. Of course they burned out over the summer, and he promised to replace them with a more suitable plant. He never did replace them and we finally decided to cut our losses and move on. BEWARE of this scam artist and save yourself a lot of headache. There are plenty of other reputable lawn service companies out there. **Update #2 What a laughable response. This was not about 3 small plants that needed replacement. My review was about your lack of honor and integrity. Things you know little about. We specifically told you, Replace them with anything that looks nice, and will not burn up in the sun. We didnt really care what plants you chose. We were willing to rely on your expertise in this area just like we had done when you chose the other 20+ plants and palms for our landscape overhaul. Again, Sal is not an honest man, and choses to place blame instead of accepting responsibility for his mistakes and lack of follow through.

Thier work was done when they said it would be and the areas were left cleaned and ready for the next stage of landscaping they will be doing. It is so great to find a company that delivers!

They just worked on 2 of my residences and I was amazed at the quality of work that they did. Sal is easy to communicate with and replies very quickly, and his crew delivered on the clean-up job of my properties, turning them from unkept messes to gorgeous yards once again since my old company had closed without any warning, leaving many weeks of no care and me wondering what was going on. Every single weed plucked. Lawn is perfect. Plants taken care of and trimmed. He also has great advice and I will be using them to landscape around my new pool and re-do my sprinkler system in the near future. I could not be more relieved to have called this company. They even sent me pics of the job they did at my other residence. A+ rating!

Total Maintenance Landscaping does the lawn care at my workplace and theyre consistently doing incomplete work. Only doing one hedge on the side of the road and leaving the other completely undone. Leaving leaves and branches all over without cleaning up after themselves. Their work doesnt leave a professional impression.

Customers beware. This company requests payment up front for services. Do NOT use this company or pay them up front for services. I paid them 190.00 in advance to provide fertilization at my house and they never showed up. I called the company to get my money back and refuse to return my calls. I am now in the process of taking them to small claims court.

Sal and his crew have done a great job maintaining my yard. I bought a foreclosure and over time Sal has redesigned and replaced almost all of my landscaping. I get compliments from all my neighbors about how great it looks. Sal also handles my monthly landscape and pest control for my lawn and trees. His crew is always neat and courteous and they do a great job. My yard always looks neat and pristine. Sal is more than just a landscape company too. I ve used him to fix a drainage problem and install landscape lighting in my backyard. I have and will continue to recommend Sal and his company to anyone who asks.

I am not big on reviewing vendors on social network sites but it is due time to praise Sal, his company and his crew for JOB WELL DONE.. CONSISTENTLY. Sal was referred to me by a neighbor in 2006 and her words were.. you will ask him to do a service one time, it will get done and whatever he tells you, he will do. Twelve years later, Sal, his company and his crew have honored that statement; not only in providing great service but in case there has been an issue. Furthermore, it is a great feeling to know that through out these years, Sals council has been for MY best interest and not to run up the bill. Speaking of bill, he has been so understanding to work out a payment plan at times when I was restricted by a tight budget. Skilled, knowledgeable and professional crew, dedicated, honest owner... We just finished a landscape upgrade in Delray Beach. With Sals great ideas and planning the job was completed and looks fantastic. Several double and triple foxtail palms were installed as well as gold dust crotons and pentas. The crew showed up as scheduled, worked diligently and cleaned up. Very professional. Thank you Sal!

Appointment set for Friday between 2-4 with Sal- No show, no call! I call him at 6:30 to find out what happened, flimsy excuse abut the rain. He then asked if I still wanted an estimate. Seriously? So we set a time for Saturday am., he will call m at 8:30. At 9:30 he calls and says he will be by in 15 minutes. We walk the 2 (two) properties in question and discuss what I want done, and at the end of the second property, he turns to me and says, I am going to decline this job! I said what? I wasnt sure I heard him right. you arent going to even give me a reason or a price? He said, NO and walked away. Guess my money isnt good enough!
