Hoffmans Lawn & Fertilization in Delaware

We had an extensive lawn clean up and mulching job that needed to be completed this summer at our new house. Dalton F, Brayden and Driston did amazing work in absolutely sizzling temperatures. Travis Gruber was part of another crew that did work with us and we were very happy as well. Weve been Hoffmans customers for years now and we just keep adding services!

Mac is very friendly and does a great job. I have tried several companies over the years and so far Hoffmans has work best for my yard.

We love Hoffmans because, no matter which employee they send out, a perfect job is done. Zach was here today and he did a professional and thorough job. He spent extra time cleaning up and seemed to enjoy his job. Thank you Hoffmans for training your people so well.

Every time they do my neighbors yard they destroy my landscaping that is on the other side of a whole driveway.

First treatment was winterizing. Showed up when they said they would and gave notice like they said they would. So far so good. Excited to see how my yard looks next season.

Hoffmann has done a great job, my yard looks great. They treat fertilizer and inserts. The guys are always friendly and professional. For July and August. Domain-2 times, Mac, and Drake I have had 2 treatments for insects by David and it has reduced the insects each treatment.

Drake did a good job overall. Needs to get in corners better from what I observed this time. Thanks.

We called Hoffmans to get a quote to repair our front lawn from grub damage. They came out in the morning. I had a quote 1 hour later. I approved it within 1 hour and about 3 hrs later they were out repairing it. They did a great job. I was amazed with the response and service. Great job! Mac from Hoffmans came by this morning to do a fertilization. He explained how our lawn has suffered from the drought and needs an aeration. We talked about their service, and he had Reece stop to explain it in more detail. Since our lawn is bluegrass, and it is too late in the season for the seed to germinate, we are waiting until the spring, after the first treatment that includes a weed pre-germinate to seed. As always, very professional and awesome service.

5/8/24 Andrew P. did an application on our lawn. He said he was fairly new to the job, but was eager to answer whatever questions he could. The yard was in bad shape and it is starting to come back to normal. 7/15/24 Andrew P. returned to do a spot treatment on some stubborn weeds. I talked to him a little and he was right back to work. I wasnt near my phone so I just got a picture of the truck!

Hoffmans Lawn & Fertilization provides services in addition to lawns. Recently, Hoffmans cleaned the gutters of my residence, and did an excellent job as I expected they would. This is the companys 2nd gutter cleaning service for me, the first one was a year ago. However, I have been a customer since 2013, receiving consistently good care to my lawn every week during the mowing season. The owner of the company is actively involved in his business, which to me is a plus. Hoffmans Lawn & Fertilization is quick to respond to questions, is reliable and courteous, and performs superior work at a fair price.

Reese did a professional job applying weed control. I was outside when he arrived, and he stopped to ask if there was anything he should be aware of before starting. Part of the lawn was too wet for the machinery. Reese walked much of the lot ahead of time to identify the wet areas. As always with Hoffmans, grass and debris was blown off the drive and walkway, even some dirt I tracked onto the drive.

MAC recently serviced my property and did an excellent job. I have yet to experience an issue. These guys are great. I had a friend connect with them just this morning and hes signed up now too! Finally, I have a company that takes care of my yard, processes the bill appropriately and timely, and offers helpful services if I need, or want them. All without being overly intrusive or pushy. The tech who applied the fertilizer was professional and courteous and seemed to do his job competently . I m just getting started so we will see how the service works out . So far Tim has been doing an excellent job fielding questions and helping our lawn to have a good start!

I have been using Hoffman s for a year or so and they never disappoint. They are very responsive if I have any questions and they always give you a heads up prior to their visits. This is a great company. I highly recommend.

The crew has been great to work with. Offered to come back another day after we have had some rain so the grass was not so brown. They reassured me applying the fertilizer that day would not burn the lawn, but understood that I wanted to wait. They came back the next week after we had a couple days of rain.

Hoffmans normally does a weed and feed service for our yard. The technicians are on time, efficient and always friendly if I go out and talk to them. (As they usually come early in the morning, I dont often get to talk with them) The last tech was Zack (?).

Hoffmans is professional and comes out to service my lawn when they tell me they will. They have a clearly marked truck and sign to tell us the lawn has been treated. Technicians are friendly and helpful. The cost is a good value for the way your lawn looks after they treat it with the correct amount of weed and feed plus any insect problems. Our neighbors are also very happy with Hoffmanns service as we were referred to Hoffmans from a neighbor.

We recently switched from Tru Green to Hoffman as we weren t satisfied with Tru Green, and are already seeing a drastic difference in our yard! Our tech, Zach H does a great job. Thank you Hoffman!

I am a new homeowner. I work in the service industry and understand communication, responsiveness, and good quality. I tried my best the first year I moved in to fix and establish a nice yard that was given to me from the previous homeowners. I spent countless hours trying my own chemicals. I made a decent mark, however, I made the decision to take my time out of it and hire a company who knows more than I do. I can handle cutting my own grass, but I need nice grass to be able to mow. I hired Hoffmann s Lawn Care this year and my friends, family and myself can already see the difference! I will continue to use this company due to their expertise, quality, and value.

Hoffmans has 2 review pages on Google, this one and Hoffmans Lawn Care. I have been submitting my photos and reviews under the second one, but scanned the QR code and ended here! I just had a treatment from Reese and have a detaching and overseed scheduled for next week. They are always prompt on the lawn mowing, even on holidays. I am pleased with the way that the yard looks and we were McDot Farms Yard of the Week a couple of weeks ago thanks to them!

We moved to a new house several months ago and over the summer, our weeds grew out of control! The weeds started overtaking our lawn. We noticed that several of our neighbors who have beautiful looking lawns use Hoffmans, so we gave them a call. We just received our first treatment at stage 5 & 6. So far, things are looking promising, but only time will tell. However, the customer service weve experienced with Hoffmans has been exceptional!

Reese recently completed a treatment for my lawn. Very professional. With 2 young children there are always obstacles for hoffmans to work around. Reese was sure to take his time to move all toys to the patio so no lawn treatment got on them. Thanks for the work and keeping my kids safe.

Very poor quality service. They not only miss big strips of yard when mowing they also miss a lot of trimming constantly. They mowed over our fire pit (and didn t even say anything like we wouldn t notice!) and then the next week mowed over our above ground pool wires. Hardly ever shows up on scheduled time and just decides that your yard doesn t need mowed and doesn t show up but also they don t call or email you to let you know they are skipping your yard. I know they have good reviews but seriously, very poor service. Missing Carefree Lawn Care right now.

Whatever driver that was going through Kensington Place in Delaware Ohio on November 6th driving with a trailer with an aerator on it needs to learn to slow down in a neighborhood especially at 8:00 in the morning when theres kids waiting for school buses

I was quoted a price of $240 and when the work was complete the total cost was $$572.99 more than twice the estimate. Beyond that the work was good and complete.

Hoffman s always provides 24 hr notice prior to treatment and confirming text when completed. Aric consistently does a great job.

Hoffman s does our weed control and they spray for bugs, ants, etc at our home. Since we began using them our yard looks so much better and we don t have ants in our flower beds anymore. Definitely works. Our last tech was David G. He did a great job.

We had some Chinch Bugs pop up that began destroying our grass out back. Hoffmans was over to the inspect the area and quickly came out to treat the yard. Started this service at the beginning of the year. I had multiple fertilization and weed applications. I have seen a large improvement in my yard. Elon Management hired you to do a job, and the job is the clear our parking lots and walkways. And you have failed miserably. If EMS needed to get to one of our apartments, they could not do it. You should be ashamed. I guess since were poor people we dont need our walkways cleared and driveways plowed.

These guys have been taking care of our yard for a few years now and they always do a great job! Theyre quick to respond, stick to the schedule (weather permitting, but they always get us mowed within a couple of days), and their prices are very reasonable. 10/10 would recommend.
