Thanks to Naturescape Lawn Care for taking care of my lawn! I've been a loyal customer for years and across multiple properties. I always choose the 5-Step plan each year, and occasionally add to it with a Tree Fertilization or Aeration service when needed. After "doing myself" for decades, it's so nice during the busy growing season to have them come and treat the lawn right.
Just recently switched to Naturescape after some disappointment with a previous service provider. I have received great personal attention, including two initial visits from service technicians to provide their assessment and guidance for ways to improve the lawn quality next year. Not a cookie cutter approach, but a hands-on approach addressing the specifics of my situation. I have had great customer service and am looking forward to next year... and a much-improved lawn.
This company is a complete joke!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They say they care about their customers, but they do not. They do not give the employees working equipment in order to provide the service that the customers have paid for. In addition to that, they do not provide the employees with proper training in order to achieve the great customer service they say they strive for. The business model that Naturescape uses is complete nonsense and the employees and customers are not taken care of. Moreover, if you are a manager for this company, be expected to do free work, have no PTO approved, and no weekends off due to your phone going off constantly with messages from your boss. The work/life balance provided by the company is horrendous. It’s no wonder quality care cannot be provided to the customers.
Had other people here who either wouldn't treat my Star Magnolia tree or were going to treat for fungus (it is white scale!). I called last Friday, Devon was here to spray today! He was VERY knowledgeable and has great customer skills. So happy they were recommended. And the price was lower than expected! Highly recommend
I waited on leaving this review to see if they'd provide their excellent customer service that they talk about while you're on hold, but sorry to say they failed. I've used their lawncare service for a couple years again now after using them years ago at my previous home where I was somewhat pleased with them (their service was ok, but at half the price of a competitor, I was ok with it). The reason I'm leaving this review now is after they came out to spray this spring, they must've gotten too close to one of my younger trees (or did it on a windy day when they shouldn't have), but it never produced leaves like the other tree I bought at the same time. I called the company I bought the trees from in 2020 and they said it was probably from my yard being treated since the trees have come back all previous years without an issue. So I called Naturescape about a month ago to let them know what had happened. The people who answer the phone are always friendly and willing to help. She said she would let the supervisor know and I would get a call. After not hearing anything for a few days, I called back. Again, I was told the supervisor was out in the field and would call me as soon as he can. I know everyone is short-staffed and busy, so gave them a break. A week and a half later, I get a call saying they'd be out that week (it was a Wednesday when they called), they never showed up. Another week and a half later, I call back and tell them I'm not happy with the way this is being handled and after a different issue with them last year, depending on how this is handled, I may be looking for a different company to treat my lawn. The person on the phone said they were planning on treating my lawn the next day and that's when they'd look at the tree and then I would get a call from the supervisor. Guess what, they never even came to treat my lawn like they said, so another week has gone by without any resolution to my dead tree. I tried calling today (which was a couple of days after being told they'd be at my house), but could never get through. Each time I talk to them there's an excuse why the supervisor isn't available and then they'll pretty much tell you what you want to hear just to get you off the phone (like we'll be there tomorrow). This company has a long way to go to learn how to take care of its customers, so I would recommend looking elsewhere if you're considering hiring them for ANYTHING! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because at least the people answering the phone are friendly, but other than that, it'd be 1 star! And before they comment and say they've tried to contact me to resolve this, they have NOT!
First year I tried them I was really pleased with the job they did. Last two years not so much. They just aren’t as thorough as they were years ago. They miss large areas of weeds. Yard looks horrible at this point. No response to two emails I have sent.
They do what they say they will do. And you can always call, great customer service.

I signed up for service and my credit card was charged on April 26th. I called after 3 weeks as no service was completed as of the 15th of May. I was told there would be an ASAP call made to rectify the issue. As of today May 26th there still has not been any service done on my property. The customer service rep stated we had a non working number. She is correct as we gave up our home phone number years ago. She was attempting to call to state that the ASAP call was not going to happen......this I appreciate. But now she is telling us the service is going to be likely done next week. This is pushing 6 weeks from time of signing up until the first service. I called in late April to get some pre-emergent crabgrass and other weed control per your literature. The customer service rep stated the same service is basically applied during the 2nd service. I cannot say that the pre-emergent, weed control, or seasonal fertilizer is going to get done before June. The main reason I went with your company is because of our past experiences and quality of service. I did not expect your company to be able to get here the next week after we signed up in April, but 6 weeks later definitely is not acceptable given the growing season and timely application of products needed to slow or stop weeds. I do understand the crucial timing of applications and that is not going to take place here.
Sad to leave a review like this after how kind and professional both customer representatives were when I called in. However, I had requested a lawn mowing for a property when it was at a length of 4 inches. By the time they said they would get someone out to review the lawn it would be 7-10 days later. They actually got it done 3 days later. I had given them fair warning that I thought after 7-10 days it might be near the 8 inch mark which they said was their max limit. The bizarre and infuriating thing is that they went out and apparently cited the lawn as being 10 inches or higher and thus unmowable. The lawn was at a length of 6 inches tall. The only location taller was grass directly against a children s jungle gym but I thought this was a lawn mowing service not a jungle gym mowing one. We didn t even request edging either so even more annoying. So yes, very disappointed in the service since they completed denied it while also straight up lying about the reason why.
I d give a zero if possible! This place damaged our house, slit an expensive hose with a weed eater more than once-even after we complained the first time. Mowed during a drought when the grass was brown and not growing, said they were here when they were not, and the lady who answers the phone lies. Paid for weed treatment, but I am constantly pulling weeds. Terrible experience. Will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau.
Do not use them! They literally ruined my yard. I signed up for their weeds treatment and aeration with overseeding. I m not happy with any of the services. The weeds were out of control and I had to call them again and again for extra treatments, and that s why I postponed the aeration and overseeding until November. We have some bared areas in our yard and was told overseeding would fix the problem. To make sure I got the correct services, I asked the representative and the people who came for treatments, and the answer was positive. Only after the overseeding I received a follow up brochure from them, saying aeration and overseeding will not repair bare or very thin areas. I quoted the very words from their brochure and asked for a good explanation. This time they said what I need was seeding, not overseeding, and they didn t provide such services. Now they know the right treatment, but why didn t tell me in the first place? Oh! Because they didn t provide that service! So, good luck if you still want to use them.
They did an excellent, professional and timely snow removal service. I was very happy. I plan on using their lawn care and maintnance service.

Rain delayed our firt mow but well worth the wait! Heather has been exceptional in getting us rescheduled promptly. She is polite, courteous and great customer service. Brett was out to do the first mow can not say enough good things. He was very professional polite and customer oriented. He was here and gone before I knew it and the yard looks great! I look forward to doing business with Naturescape for many years and would highly recommend them.
They do give me my barefoot lawn I love so much. Its like an invisible barrier too, the MULTITUDE of dandelions and clover ect does not jump to my lawn. You could tell we had sprayed our driveway but there was some stubborn tall weeds that needed hit again but I watched him spray those areas as he drove past them...bonus!!! The reason I didnt give them a 5 star is because I stopped the man and pointed out weeds along the bricks of our landscaping and along the concrete of our front deck I was standing on. He assured me he had sprayed them but when there were weeds just like them elsewhere that died and these did not .hmmm, makes you wonder right?

Tried them last year, the areas they did looked good but did 75% of my yard. I was late on paying because of my disappointment . After talking to the receptionist decided to try 1 more year. Its almost July and not one visit, I will never hire them again.
Even though their office in my county closed I still use them from their Decatur location. Customer Service is excellent. Compared to other places I tried they offer the most value. I have them aerate and seed my lawn every fall and fertilize my shrubs..

I sent a check back in April for the mosquito control. My check was cashed. They never came. My kids and everyone are being eaten alive. I finally heard back and they said they would be here Wednesday. It is Thursday evening and we still have mosquitos.
We switched to Naturescape about 2 1/2 years ago. The results were exactly what we wanted. We could not be happier with their service and their product.

Think twice before using Naturescape for your lawncare needs. I have used them for two years and now my yard looks horrible. Lots of dead grass and very poor service. Came up with every excuse in the book for why the grass is doing poorly. Also, they charged me for spring aeration but never did it. But came up with an excuse why I was charged for it. I am so disappointed. And, at the end of all of this, their employee hung up on me. Update: I am amending my review as I have received calls from the regional and corporate office and they have apologized for the misunderstandings, reimbursed money for aeration and have taken the time make amends. For their responsiveness and their desire to make changes, I have now given them 4 stars

Please read all of this: We have had Naturescape take care of our yard for years. They always did a good job. This summer was not the case and after repeated calls we still had a lot of weeds so I called to cancel. Lance called me back and said they were having problems and asked for another chance. He said he would be at our house the next day. He was and the problem must have gotten fixed and the weeds were finally killed for the rest of the summer. It did take him several trips to get all the weeds. Thanks Lance. Will sign up for next year.
