2385 Lawrence Dr, De Pere, WI 54115, United States
Wisconsin-based lawn care provider with a plethora of installation and maintenance services to transform your natural landscape into a gorgeous and efficient oasis
Landscape Associates has good experts who can come over and help you with your landscaping design. Their installers are fast, do a nice job. They are NOT cheap, but, you get what you pay for and I would use them again.
Never finish the job! Every week they mow my lawn and refuse to cleanup after themselves. They refuse to blow the clumps off the grass which then leaves holes in my turf. They refuse to switch to a smaller lawnmower even though they have had to replace parts of my lawn several times from them leaving tire tracks though the entirety of my back yard. Refuse to work and communicate with others. Poor service, poor quality, terrible customer service.
Extremely unprofessional. Called 8-9 times to obtain the quote. They made us wait for many weeks saying they will respond but none of the contractors responded. We left multiple voice mails and needless to say none of them were answered. Would definitely avoid and will tell all of our friends and family to avoid.
My wife and I hired landscape associates to update our front yard plant and we could not be more please. It looks like we have a whole new house. John the designer is wonderful to work with and is great at following up. We will be hiring him for our next project.
We switched lawn service midsummer to Landscape Associates. We have had excellent professional service, and our lawn looks beautiful. We are paying a little more than our previous lawn service, but we found out you get what you pay for! With Landscape Associates we have NO PROBLEMS, good communication, and a beautiful lawn. We are grateful they answered our call for help! Prompt, professional.
Landscape Associates has a team of dedicated people working together to deliver high quality landscape creation and maintenance. We worked with Landscape Associates from the very start of our new home build. They assisted with plant selection, patio design, stone selection, walking path design, and more. This is the second summer they have taken care of our yard. We have nothing but good to say about this team.
Landscape Associates of DePere, WI performed poor workmanship, overlooked details in the design plan, and handled problems in a rude impatient manner. A project that should have taken less than a week took over two months to complete. On the first day of planting two young, and seemingly inexperienced, men came to our home to plant trees, shrubs and grass. The crew did a very poor job of planting the trees; they left before watering freshly planted shrubs, and littered the planting beds with plastic bag parts. We had to call the owner of the company on more than one occasion to request that his crew fix and/or finish jobs they started such as edging the planting beds. We also repeatedly asked the owner, Mr. Andrews to provide more topsoil. The biggest problem however was the centerpiece of the design, a “grove” of three trees. All three had lichen on them and did not appear to be particularly healthy. They were also four feet taller than specified in our contract. This was a problem since they were being planted under a large maple tree. At a height of over 10’ they had little room to grow before meeting the lower branches of the tree. When we asked for new trees the size designated in the plan, Mr. Andrews, the owner of Landscape Associates told us he could not get the 6’ size from his supplier (this was early in June) and provided no options to rectify the problem. He demonstrated a take it or leave it attitude to us. We reluctantly accepted the trees. In less than a week’s time about half of the leaves on two of the three trees turned brown. Mr. Andrews initially only agreed to replace one of the sick trees. Since we wanted the three trees to all be the same height we asked for another 10’ tree as a replacement. Instead, without communication from the company, a 6’ tree was delivered (the size Mr. Andrews had previously said was unavailable). Weeks later when Mr. Andrews finally agreed to replace the other sick tree he said he would deliver a second 6’ tree. We had started trimming the remaining 10’ tree back to bring it closer in appearance to the smaller, younger trees. But instead, without notice from the company an 8’ tree was delivered. Lack of communication had been an ongoing problem since planting started with Landscape Associates. Lack of trust also became an issue when Mr. Andrews repeatedly delivered a different size tree than promised. We paid Landscape Associates for professional services and received amateur workmanship which dragged out for much longer than expected. I learned a lot from this experience and one thing is that I would not recommend this company.
I really wanted to give them a good review,but... Long story short, the owner tries, and they honored their one-year guarantee after a harsh winter, which is admirable, but the owner communicates poorly and the crew does fast, sloppy work. We had overgrown landscaping. I liked the new plan, but in using their shrub removal machines in spring, they tore up nearly our entire lawn--I mean DEEP tire gouges and a SEA OF MUD. Grass was GONE. The landscape edging was sloppy--gaps between the bricks, tilted bricks, mud slopped over everything, unevenly spaced plants, utility flags half buried under the wood chips, a lawn full of stray rocks they scattered when they removed existing lava rocks. They came back and fixed most of it after I complained. (Some not: I still have a front lawn full of small rocks, which I notice as I'm often barefoot. There was a buckthorn bush they missed intertwined with a lilac; when my boyfriend questioned the crew leader, he told him it was part of the lilac! We removed it ourselves.) They put quick grass on some of the torn up lawn and some we left until fall since I didn't want to try and water over summer and they were to aerate the lawn and seed in fall anyway. Weeds took over; I thought we could spray in fall; he didn't explain until later that we would have to wait until spring. They came and seeded in Sept while we were on vacation--no communication, luckily we noticed and started watering. We still had bare ground and mud in spring, so we bought seed ourselves and took care of the worst of it, but other areas were still thin. They did honor a promise to replace some yews that died due to winter kill on the south side and low-area wetness, but I asked them to call me first as I wanted to show them the thin lawn area (before I tackled the weeds), have them replace one of the yews with a wayward rose they had missed when removing old landscaping, and re-seat some of the new landscaping that had pulled up out of the ground (root ball showing). I specifically asked them to CALL ME AND GIVE ME A HEADS UP FIRST. Well he called early one morning, apologized for the short notice, and by the time I got the message they had come and gone--so of course lost my chance to show them those specifics... And he left me a later phone message that he thought the lawn looked fine... I suppose he looked at the areas that we had reseeded after their work failed... The whole experience was like that. I kept trying to work with them (including via two letters, and repeated phone calls because I didn't always get a response the first time) and understand their difficulties with things like a wet spring and harsh winter and they'd kind of come through, but were poor on specifics and seemed to avoid the homeowner in person as much as possible. (Heck, the owner scared the heck out of my boyfriend, who suddenly saw him walking past our back window one afternoon... the owner came to check things out after a phone call from me and of course didn't call first.) So they try... but just can't seem to communicate very well and the crew seems most concerned with speed. If you work with them, make sure they spell EVERYTHING out and insist on BEING THERE for any work done.
I have hired LA for several projects, and have yet to be disappointed by the knowledge and professionalism shown by both the crew nor by Jessie. Always top notch!
Great team of employees, they treat you like family here.
andscape and associates +442030520998 I dont know if its correct but it appears with that title and makes calls every day
Terrible customer service. Promises made, never follow through. Makes excuses for everything. Design could be beautiful, if it was done as planned, and in a timely manner.
Great design details
The workers are amazing, always going above and beyond what is expected of them.
Very professional and well experienced in the field
I called the man I always deal with over the weekend to ask about snow removal after the second largest snowstorm Green Bay has ever seen...he was very disrespectful and rude and basically told me he didn t have time for me that day and he d try to get someone out to me the next day but he probably couldn t. Mind you, I didn t really care that he couldn t make time because I knew that they d probably be slammed with requests so I was simply calling just to see if by any chance they had availability- which I made very clear to him. This comes after several instances of him being unprofessional that I ve just dealt with in the past. Many times he s made remarks about the way my husband and I live our lives and basically acting like we re relatives and he has the right to do that. We ve decided not to waste our money dealing with rude people that can t answer a simple question nicely in a time of need, and I suggest you do the same.
I can not praise Landscape Associates enough. They are priced reasonably, do excellent work, and are very accommodating in scheduling. Have them do your yard work you will not be disappointed.
