Hired Mike & his crew to do fall clean up for us following my husband's stroke. Reasonable price & did even more than we expected them to do. Very happy with them & have recommended them to friends & family without hesitation

We reached out to Mike and asked for him to chop up a few stumps we had in our yard, after the big summer storm dropped them unexpectedly. He worked us in quickly, within a day or two, and did a nice job; not making a huge mess of our yard or the areas surrounding the stumps!

We loved working with Mike and his crew! Our house was a new build so we had to start at ground level. I worked with Mike to design a dry creek bed, walking path, fire pit area, a couple larger maples and landscaping with plants that are hardy for this and some like varieties of Japanese Maples that you don’t see everyday. I love everything! We’ve had him come back as we needed something else and wouldn’t hesitate to in the future.

Great experience start to finish. Mike and his team put in a brick patio hardscape for us. He had ideas for it we never thought to do that made the project next level. His guys were really nice to my family while working. Thanks for all your hard work. They are coming back next year for another project and we can’t wait!!!!

~~Update~~ I've now used Mike and crew for 3 major landscape renovations and I'm extremely satisfied! No issues at all when I had design add-ons. The crew was so friendly and very helpful with my endless questions. I get SO many compliments! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Very helpful with the design ideas. Great workmanship, respectful of property, very friendly. Will be working with them again on future projects.

Extraordinary unprofessional, asked to get paid as soon as he is completed I mean right then and there before any issues arise from his poor install and will not come back to fix issues after the fact unless he gets paid more for fixing his incorrect work. Didn't quote enough dirt and didn't give me a new price or let me know when he would be done until 7:30 pm when he was done and wanted payment before he left. His contract says payment UPON completion not AT completion. We now know why he wants to get paid so fast. Discovered he damaged my new concert pad. Yard elevations and drainage are incorrect, (pooling water because edging is set to low) pictures are from a misting hose watering plants for 15 min. The yard is full of rocks (picked out 1/2 a 5 gal pal of rocks so far) and weeds. pushed stumps and roots into tree line and didn't blend yard into tree line like discussed during consultation just stopped where he felt he should. NO communication once he was on site. We marked out arbs prior to his arrival and he didn't even plant them in right spot. Discarded extra river rocks we paid for in empty lot next door that we picked back out and put behind AC unit that they didn't fill with river rocks. He will refer to his contract when it benefits him but will not honor or follow that same contract. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a professional landscaper or a landscaper that stands by his work. Rain update 6/26/23: First significant rain since lawn install and more discovered issues with grading, standing water on back patio because grading drainage plan wasn't followed correctly. (see additional photo's) New update 10/10/23: Had a new company come fix his work and grade properly. Must be embarrassing leaving a company to start your own business and your former employer comes and makes your work right when you don’t stand by your work!! New crew came and took out a few yards of ground and graded properly to provide proper drainage. Mike had drainage plan before project and never used a transit to check grade or he would have realized he needed to excavate a few yards out. After new crew took out a few yards of improper grading they added topsoil's so grass will grow properly. (not on hard clay ground that your crew was too lazy to take down) Happy there is still companies out there that stand by others work that they don’t stand by!! Thanks to Lizar for fixing the work Mike wouldn’t stand by! (See additional photos) Amazing what a transit and a company that takes pride in their work can do. Update 10/26/23: It was time to pay bill for work Lizar fixed/completed........ "Why don't you just make a donation for said amount to NEW community shelter, let's make a negative situation into a positive" WOW ......What an amazing thing to do and say. We decided to match said amount before making the donation. What a great company we highly recommend Lizar landscaping. Update 4/30/24: See owners post on all his poor reviews (not just mine) he always blames the customer should tell you what you need to know about his business practices. Never his fault always some made up story in attempt to defend himself.
