HORRIBLE EMPLOYEE I visited the Apple orchard with three of my great friends. We were enjoying our time picking apples and wanted to take a picture together. We were setting up to take a picture next to their petting zoo barn, next to a tree that was changing in color. As we were about to take the picture an employee came walking over from the gift shop screaming “that area is off limits. If you payed to pet the animals, walk to the front of the building.” Us girls looked at each other very confused because we were only taking a picture. We decided to move to the side walk to take a cute picture in front of their wooden barn door. The employee turned around on her walk back and then continued to scream, “Did you hear me?????” I kindly asked, “I’m sorry, can we just take a picture in front of this door?” She said “ummm NOOO.” And then proceeded to walk off. My friends and I felt very uncomfortable. We decided that we would just leave, because we didn’t feel comfortable there anymore. We are all displeased with the service and will continue to laugh about how rude and ridiculous the women was who decided to scream at us for taking a picture. We will never go back.
I was having a great time. We seen all the animals and fed them. Until we went into the store and were rudely yelled at by an employee for asking a simple question about apple cider.
We always have ana amazing time filled with lots of great memories at Apple Valley!
Great place . lots of different types of apples to pick from . you can pick ur own or buy them prepicked. pumpkins & gordes are also available to buy & all for a decent price! Bonus....there is a cute little spot for the kids to play before or after.
Apple picking at Apple Valley is an annual event, driving up from Indiana to join my sisters & brothers in a flurry of fun! The apples are easy to pick and they have great trees & excellent variety for eating or cooking!
Decent Apple picking experience. We go here, for the small petting zoo experience in the back. They offer food for the animals, for $1/cup. Don't let the goats eat it all, save some for the miniature horses in the back!
This orchard has a ton of great options of which apples you might want to get. We had a rough idea of what we wanted, but came out with flavors we didn't know existed, on top of having a great time!
Great place to pick your own apples. With free wagon rides out to the orchard as well as a store with already picked apples, caramels, juice and crafts. Have a nice afternoon with the kids picking apples or just playing on the kids activities. The petting Zoo is lame for adults but the kids love it.
They dont sell love bait yet open at 5. Did not go in.
I hate this place
Fun event for the whole family. But do remember if going for the first time only take what you need. I bought so many fricken apples my first time.
My family has been going here for over 20 years for our annual family APPLEPIK. Great place and the staff knows us when we show up!
Lovely afternoon outting! My first time to an orchard and I enjoyed it quite a bit!
Best darn apples around. Too bad this is their last year.
Such a great place to make family memories! Kids love the animals and picking apples.
Pleasant
Well-organized for COVID safety. Beautiful apples and pumpkins were at great prices!
The workers were rude, and we not helpful
every thing was fine until we can in contact with the people in the store and they were very rude
Great place
Great place to take a group apple picking! Excellent apple items for sale too. I got apple pie and apple crisp; both were delicious!!
My home builder referred me to this company for a project years ago. They were prompt and affordable. I contacted my home builder again this year for another project I needed to have done. The owner is horrible. He called me with an attitude right off the bat, said he would call me back with an estimate and never did- with his jackass attitude I really didn t expect him to anyway . I called my home builder to tell him not to use this company anymore, and will never refer anyone to this company again. I do so many home projects that everyone asks me for references on who to use- apple valley will never be suggested!
So many apples to choose from that you will have to apple-y restraint!
Had a wonderful Saturday with family picking apples, choosing pumpkins and gourds and petting animals. Highly recommended for families with little ones.
Pretty good place they sell apples that you pick they have really good Carmel apples they even sell pumpkins gourds lotta stuff
Good place just wish they took cards and not just cash or check.
We go here every fall for apples and all the great family fun.
Our yearly fall ritual! Wonderful place to take the family Apple picking.
Very nice!
Sometimes the employees have the same personality as a pumpkin. They do not accept credit or debit cards.
Great family time outing
Family favorite. Great apples and fun tractor trailer rides. Kids enjoy the small play area.
Cute place,to,take the kids little petting doo and apple picking along, with a small store and other activities
Beautiful location and lots of fun for the kids (wagon rides, petting zoo, pumpkin patch in addition to the apple picking)
Drove all the way from Greenville only to find not open. No mention of this on the website.
Always a great experience
Havent visited yet but know the owners were kinda far off neighbors in the north FIRST class people
We had a great time picking apples last fall. They have a beautiful orchard and they are very family friendly.
We come here every year with my daughter. She loves picking the apples. Its a very nice place.
Great for a family outing.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Theyre rude and condescending. When I wrote the assistant manager about my experience I got a ridiculously rude response. I see why the employees are that way. I would never got there again.
