I had a great experience working with Greenway on my drainage/foundation grading around my home. Communication was excellent from first contact, to estimates, to actually scheduling the work. Joe didn t oversell me more than I needed (I thought I might need more complicated drainage system, but what I really needed was a lot of dirt brought in to build up the grade around the house). The crew that did the work was friendly and easy to work with. They noticed that I had holes in my yard from decaying tree stumps that I had been unsuccessfully trying to fill and they used leftover dirt to level those as well! I had one side of the house where I planned to put flower beds and didn t want seeded, so they left me some grass seed for me to use once I define the flower bed edges. The job was completed exactly how I wanted and now all the water runs AWAY from the house. . Overall, an extremely competent, contentious, and well run company!

We hired Joe and his team to reroute a number of our downspouts to our sump drain and we are extremely happy with the responsiveness, value and overall workmanship of the project. Joe and his crew did an AWESOME Job in addressing our problem with a leaky basement. Not only was the problem solved, but was done in a straightforward and efficient manner.

Just had Joe and the crew redo my drainage system. Three down spouts and a sump pump discharge out to the street in a 4 PVC line, tapped into the storm system. Everything was shot with a transit and pitched perfectly, with a wire tracer line. They took care of the permits and Diggers Hot Line ( They had to work around all my utilitys). The cleanup was good (Im in charge of planting the grass). They were in and out in a couple days. Im very pleased with there work, and highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Joe and his team at Greenway LS to anyone dealing with drainage issues. Ive struggled for many years with water pooling in my yard and getting into the basement. Joe supplied an incredibly comprehensive solution including installing a new sump drain from the house to the storm sewer, addressing the compromised existing drain; tying two downspouts into that same line, something I didnt have previously; adding an extra drain to a low-lying area; and even utilizing some of the excavated dirt to level other low-lying sections of the yard. Despite unforeseen challenges, such as the storm drain not being where the village indicated, which resulted in extensive and laborious excavation work (much of it by hand!), Joe and his team managed it with dedication. In the hottest days of the summer, they persisted until they located the correct connection. The final invoice was exactly as quoted, even though the work took longer than expected. After recent heavy rainfall, I was very happy to find that the drainage system functioned flawlessly, just as Joe promised. Thanks to their work, my sump pump runs far less often, as the water now efficiently drains away from the house on the first go, rather than circling back through the yard and into the sump repeatedly. Furthermore, upon completing the job, the team expertly graded and seeded the excavated areas to a high landscaping standard. Im thrilled to see new grass covering those areas already. I strongly recommend Joe and Greenway LS for the comprehensiveness and quality of the solution, the price, and the dedication of the team from the beginning of the project to the end.

I highly recommend Greenway LS. I hired them to fix/replace underground drainage lines for my roof downspouts. Planning was well thought out - tied in my sump pump line for extra durability and function. They were really careful to keep other buried lines intact, including my sprinkler water lines. The team worked efficiently and quickly. The final touch up part of the project (filling back in the areas with dirt and leveling the ground) was not completed satisfactory but Joe was very responsive and apologetic and got his guys back to make it look perfect. I will definitely keep them on my short list of good contractors.

TLDR; Joe and his Merry Men at Greenway Landscaping turned my nightmare backyard into a dreamland. Affordable and professional company that does amazing work. The full story: We bought our house in fall of 2018. I started to notice during rain storms that we had big puddles in our backyard, up to six inches deep in some areas. Then come spring of 2019 when all the flooding was happening and my yard turned into a miniature lake. To make matters worse our basement majorly flooded, up to four inches of standing water! I had to tear all the carpet, drywall and paneling out of our basement. Every time it rained water would still find it s way into the basement. It turned out that our yard was graded towards our house. And to make matters worse we have a low foundation and only had about ten inches of room to grade away from the house. I tried to find a landscaper to fix the problems with my yard but everyone was booked up or wanted to become a millionaire. One company quoted me $40k to fix my yard! After searching all spring and summer we came across The Greenway LS Facebook. I reached out and Joe quickly responded. We set up a consultation visit. It was now early fall. It looked like we were going to have another nightmare spring. Greenway was able to come and start ground work on my backyard in late November to make sure that we wouldn t have more major damage to our basement in the spring. As soon as the snow cleared in Spring of 2020, during the midst of the beginning of the pandemic, The Greenway crew started work on my yard, installing a French drain system to reroute water out of the yard and away from our basement, and dry wells and catch basins to absorb the run off. They also graded the yard away from the house by tamping down the yard since they couldn t raise the grade by the our house foundation. After all of Greenway s hard work my yard is no longer a nightmare. I can walk in my back yard without galoshes. We have green grass again instead of mud patches. They transformed my hellish swamp into beautiful pasture. All for an affordable price, well below the other companies $40k quote. And Greenway did more then the other company would have for that ludicrous quote. Long story short, I wouldn t hesitate to call Greenway Landscaping if your having problems with your yard. Joe and his crew are highly professional and courteous and go above and beyond the competition in both professionalism and quality of work.

Joe and his team planted 25 shrubs and new grass for me last summer in my backyard. They did an amazing job and cleaned up after they were done. One of the shrubs died over the winter and he came back and replaced it immediately.

Purchased a house with a large slope down to a flat area with a fire pit and shed. Was not a big deal to us until we were expecting. We wanted a place for our son to be able to run on a flat yard. Greenway did a great job. We had 3 catch basins and some drain pipe installed along with edging and mulch around the whole house, & dirt and mulch added to some low spots in the yard. Their drainage solution has greatly improved the water issues with our yard. We are no longer getting seepage in our basement and are able to access our full yard without needing mud boots all the time. Joe is very responsive and great to work with, and him and his crew completed our project in just 2 days. We would hire Greenway again and recommend them to anyone.

Joe and his team placed a buried storm drain connecting two of our gutters. He was tremendously easy to work with and very professional. He and his team were there early, the day of the project and completed everything in one day. He asked me to keep an eye on it since we had some heavy rain forecasted. We had a contingency plan prepared and when it needed to implemented, he was more than willing to further complete the project, to make it right. Id not only recommend Joe and Greenway LS Landscapes and Drainage, but Id call them back for any other work we required, in the future.
