Denied service after being a customer for a year and didn t even provide a reason. Unprofessional. Would not recommend at all.

Hillassistance Landscaping installed a poorly design outdoor drain system at my house. They may be good in landscaping, however, I would not recommend them for outdoor drain system.

This company showed up on time, was very responsive to any requests I made. Their workers worked steadily for an entire day laying down mulch and putting in edging. Top quality I can not say enough good things about this company.

Had this company cut my grass for a month. At first I loved the staff but after a couple weeks noticed on my cameras that one of the crew members that cuts the grass kept driving over my new driveway pavers and sidewalk for no reason at all. This damages pavers and I just had a very expensive paver job completed. I texted the owner and got no response so I was hoping they corrected it then it happened again the following week and this time the person just did not continuously drive over my new pavers which are higher than the turf but turned around in middle of my driveway on every pass. I am sure I will have chips in my pavers that need to be replaced on a new driveway and sidewalk because of the gross negligence of this company. Update: Yep just as I feared I have close to a dozen chips on my new pavers and I have had my car parked in front of my driveway since it was completed to avoid exactly this type of thing. Thanks guys I am now going to have to locate replacement pavers and have them all replaced and my driveway resealed. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

These guys are absolutely awesome. Chevaughen and Jessica run a tight ship. They did our entire yard with new landscaping in Holly Hill. It came out amazing. They started the job on a tuesday and finished about a week later. Showed up every day until it was done. We made changes along the way and prices were given before doing the work which I love. We will be using them for our yard maintenance and on our next investment property for sure. Thanks guys!!!!!! Great work!!!!!!!

TLDR: I would not use this company again. We contracted with Hillassistance on a large landscaping project that included sprinkler system repair, new sod, new garden beds, and new boarders on all landscaping. The team was friendly throughout the project. In first week after completion we noticed a few issues that we reported but have no resolution. 1. A ten foot section of new garden bed boarder was not installed. The team said the would return but never did even after several attempts to confirm. 2. Two sprinklers not functioning. The response when we asked that the the sprinklers be fixed was they worked when we left. We hoped for better warranty on the work performed. 3. The new sod needed water 3x a day. Hillassistance set the sprinkler system they just serviced and repaired to every three days. Thankfully we caught this quickly. 4. Hillassistance damaged some of our neighbors lawn when removing our old sod. We asked that they repair the area. No response. Additionally the quality of the work is ok but not exceptional. We have noticed areas with thin rock/mulch coverage. During the sod installation no tilling or additional soil was brought in to help level certain areas. Add to that the lack of follow-up on the boarder and sprinkler repair has made this a poor customer experience. As a customer we could have done better with explicit expectations for the sprinklers. We assumed that sprinklers would be moved and replaced for optimal watering with the new sod and beds. That was not the case. As a result we have spots not being watered in the beds and sod. We would have paid more for this service but it was to late when we noticed.

Im very pleased with Hill Assistance Landscaping. I had a side yard that was eroding away and take the grass/rockbed. They installed a drain system to stop the water erosion, leveled the ground, rebuilt/filled the rock bed (plenty of rock, no short changing) and gave me a yard full of new grass sod. He was knowledgeable about local grass species. Chevaughn responded quickly to my initial quote request, showed up a day later, and was able to start work shortly after. (He was easy to reach at all times unlike competitors.) His crew was exactly on time and professional. Chevaughn really cares about the satisfaction of his clients. I misunderstood a piece of my new drain system and thought it was malfunctioning. I contacted him, concerned, and he answered my call, actually showed up to my home, and showed me how the drain system functions IN THE RAIN on Sunday. Everything was perfectly fine, but he took the time to make sure I was happy with the job, even if it meant taking some of his own time to show me something he explained on installation day. I recommend Hill Assistance Landscaping and will use them again in the future.

These guys are amazing!!! Chevaughn was very communicative and punctual. I could not believe how reasonable the price was for all of the work they did!!! They basically redid the entire landscaping at the front and back of my home. They were very professional and friendly and most importantly, i absolutely LOVE the finished product. I love our new stones and they really paid attention to detail, making sure everything was perfect before they left. I will definitely use them again in the future and would highly recommend to anyone seeking a reliable, professional, reasonably priced, and family owned business for any of their landscaping needs!! Thank you all SO much I have been looking forward to having this done for a while lol :)!!!

They did a beautiful job my landscaping. Great quality plants and materials. They have an eye for design. They also did a great job trimming my unruly trees. Very friendly and polite crew.

This guy has horrible business skills does not take care of his customers. Ive been getting my grass cut for 7 months with text messages to prove it an this guy never shows up when called , if you call him This Monday he wont show up till next week Friday complaining about the length of grass. An when I did schedule an appointment for them to text an say the price is now 45$ after its been $30 , seems like they pick an choose who they want to service. Beware

Im giving them one star because I got my grass done with them a while back and was finally able to cut my grass to see the end work for it. Sorry but its Terrible. I say Terrible because the company wasnt cheap. They made me pay for rental fees for the stuff they were renting, supplies that they needed, and they went ahead and bought 6. Yes 6 water hoses and told me I needed them to water my grass after the work was done. I went along with everything because I really wanted my grass to look nice. End game was the grass is all uneven, theres brown spots all over, and Im stuck with 6 water hoses that I dont need. Water hoses that I didnt even buy. They did. So plus the huge amount I was charged to do the grass, I was charged nearly the same amount as the grass for rentals, supplies and the stuff they needed. I work hard for my money and if your looking for a good company to do good work and charge you a good price? This company isnt it. Save your money and find someone else. I dont say it happily but the way my grass has turned out, has been terrible especially for the price I paid.

I had contacted multiple landscaping companies and let me tell you- Hillassistance was by far the best! They were recommended to me by a friend. I loved that they were able to tell me ideas they had for our landscaping, the moment they walked on site. (Our front yard was in need of some major love)! They were punctual, had reasonable prices, and a great end result. I would (and will) recommend them to everyone! Thank you, Hillassistance!

Just had sod put down on my front and side yard. Really impressed with the workman ship and desire to please their customer. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themself. Will be having them back to do a water feature for me that I have been putting off W/o not hesitate to recommend.

Ive been dreaming of updating my backyard but had no idea who to go to. Then I have Hillassistance landscaping and it was the best choice ever! They took my call and came out that same day to give me quotes and discuss my plan. Mind you I was talking to two other companies and Hillassistance was hands down the most fair, nice, and responsive! The very next week after calling my backyard is an oasis! We have beautiful grass and landscaping! Its a dream! The entire team is amazingly nice and on time and they are FAST! Cant wait to have them do my front yard!

I would never recommend them to anyone. Where to begin, the first day they lost two thirds of the day due to rain. No one s fault but however the next day they left somewhere between 4 - 5. They left roughly the same time the next two days following. That s fine because it bit me and them in the butt later on. I ll explain a little bit later in my review. I knew my lawn was going to take a beating but there was damage to it that could have been avoided which was not repaired because there was the excuse of C-19 closing the sod farm which I understand but don t tell people you can get sod when you can t just so you have a way of winning over the bid. They also shorted me with rocks in spots that could have used more. It rained all day Friday but they couldn t come back on Saturday because the provider for the rocks and topsoil was closed due to C-19. That s understandable. Then came Monday, 4/27/20, and they really hustled to get the job done whereby in certain areas shortcuts were taken to get the job done. I asked aren t you coming back Tuesday and the answer was no because they were supposed to start a new project on that Monday but since the rain put them behind schedule. That s where it bit me in the butt. Haste makes waste so I was the one to suffer the consequences. Again, poor job of scheduling. You ve always have to give yourself a couple extra days due to inclement weather even if you don t get it. It s easier to call your next customer that you re coming earlier than scheduled but it s harder to explain why you re coming later than scheduled. The last thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was that the supervisor said he would come back Sunday on his day off to lay the sod down where I requested to have it put within the contract. I texted him to ask if he was coming and there was no reply to my text whatsoever. Even if he couldn t get the sod he still could have notified me as such. Finally near a month later on 5/23/20 they came to lay the sod. The trimming of the hedges was another run around which I don t want to get into. Also, within a week the weeds started growing through the landscape fabric. More weeds in the beds then before they landscaped. They said they used the commercial brand but I beg to differ with that. Even my lawn care guy noticed that because he s the one who sprays for the weeds in the beds. I guess as soon as they get your money there s no follow up. Whomever gave them 5 star reviews must have been the company s friends because they didn t perform anywhere close as to those expectations in the reviews. I should have gone with one of the other competitors who ve been around this area for 30+ years. The big mistakes I made was going with Hillassistance and the other not going with their competitor. Don t trust the previous reviews and BUYER BEWARE.

I normally would not give a full 5 start review but this company has earned it in my book. They have completely revamped our landscaping and since taking over our regular weekly landscaping care the yard looks like a million bucks. Thanks to the whole crew at Hillassistance Landscaping! I am so pleased with the work Hillassistance provided. I have them working with me on a very large piece of land that has been neglected for quite some time. The team worked efficiently and professionally working within my budget to trim all the palms, take out overgrown bushes, cut down a dead tree and mow down the jungle. They hauled off all the debris and stacked the wood for the fire pit. They will come in monthly to keep it up while I envision the next big step. I cant say enough great things about Chevaugn and his team.

Had my driveway pavers sealed today. Hillasstance did a wonderful job. They cleaned the pavers and even went the extra mile to hand clean off some cement marks left by construction contractors. Highly recommend this company.

I had them put in white stone, clean the bark off all my palm trees, install 2 french drains, trim all my plants and install new pine bark beds. There are many unethical vendors out there so was a breath of fresh air to deal with Mr Hill. He provided a detailed job contract with pricing and arrived and completed the job as agreed upon. There was one issue I discovered after the job was completed which he promptly took care off. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.
