It changed! Not sure what happened but the quality changed. The customer services also declined!
They never showed up and then charged me for service. They didn't even cut my lawn. Zac, you dropped the ball on this. Customer service never got my emails. They claimed that the issue was resolved. It was not. Cheryl did not do her job either. Follow up: After complaint, Zac and crew did come back and they did a nice job on the lawn. If you can't make it, I'm flexible, but please do the job and then charge me. Thanks! Well, this is the last time. Zac and LawnStarter are a complete disappointment. I have used their service for several years and this season has been so bad. The lawn crew kept delaying, starting with saying they would cut my lawn May 25th, then it changed to between May 28th and May 31st, and then to June 2nd to 3rd. It is June 3rd, 9 pm and I messaged Zac twice, no reply. I'm done with this service, my lawn is waist deep and this service is unresponsive. They are unreliable. I'm going to cancel their services.
We scheduled a mowing service for an empty lot. When they arrived, they called us and said they could not complete the job because they couldn’t identify property lines, so we told them to just cancel. Since then, they have charged us 3 times in the last month despite having not performed any work before or since. Every time we call to get a refund, we are given the runaround that it is not their policy to give refunds. At one point, a “manager” promised us we would be refunded, but that never arrived and then we were charged AGAIN. Now we are being told we have to provide photos proving that the services were never done. I don’t know how we can do that for the first charge that was done a month ago. So I’m sure we won’t actually get all of the money back. Absolutely terrible customer service. We regret ever contacting this business.
When the crew shows up, they do a great job. With that being said, I requested lawn mowing every week. My first crew showed up the first time and did not show up again and it’s now been three weeks with no contact from my crews or this company for an explanation. I emailed customer service several times and finally had my crew changed and that crew missed their first schedule service dates as well. I tried calling LS several times over several days as well and it is impossible to speak with them directly. I requested call backs and nobody has returned my calls. Absolutely terrible customer service and communication with the customers from the crews is nonexistent.
This was a horrible experience. I was scheduled for once a week. The only time they showed up, I ended up with a patchy yard. My child does a better job but doesn’t ask for $60 after. The next scheduled time, no one showed up. Rescheduled, no one showed. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother with this company.
Not happy with this service. The first crew did a horrible job cutting my yard. LawnStarter did send out a new crew several days later to have it re-cut. That crew did a much better job and serviced my yard two times. That crew then asked me if we could push my service out a couple days to a Wed/Thurs cycle. No big deal. However, they did not show up or even contact me on the day the next service was due. Now I've got a yard that will likely be at 3 weeks since the last cutting. I'm canceling and going for a more reliable service provider.
I started out using TaskEasy last year but only for a few months. I tried again this year and the contractor didn’t show up or message. I called them and got it rescheduled...didn’t show again. Switched to LawnStarter and I’m amazed by their service! I’m kept up to date on scheduling and my lawn looks AMAZING every time. Thanks!
I highly recommend LawnStarter service. The process has been so easy and they show up on time do the job quickly and they also do a great job. Julio has cut our grass and trimmed our front bushes. He has done an excellent job. We are very happy with the work and process. We signed up online they quoted us the price, if we needed other work they also let us know the price ahead of time. They showed up when they said they would the job.
Wish I had a vehicle I d love to be part of the team I do have a license just no car

Everything was ok until I found out money was taken out my account for a service that wasn t given when I was supposed to get them. No service for months and money was still being taken out my account.
Never came for the scheduled service. I contacted the crew multiple times and was told someone would be there the next day only to no-show again Tried to contact support but didnt get a response to the email and no one answered the phone. Just a frustrating experience all around, so I gave up and wouldnt recommend anyone else waste their time.
Always does a great job, respects my requests to leave some areas unmowed, always leaves the hard surfaces clean and works quickly and efficiently. I wish Id hired them years ago.

Couldnt get a lawn service to mow grass. Kept putting us off. They would schedule a date then reschedule us. Very frustrating! Would not recommend this app.
First time we were charged 3 times the amount, one charge for long grass and another for cutting grass 3 days after first cut, which never happened! Called in, which took 2 days to get ahold of someone. I was refunded one charge. Now we are being charged for another cut that never happened. I waited on hold for 2.5 hrs yesterday and now they call me back at 0706 and when I call back, it says that they are closed! Definitely the worst service ever! Smh

Very disappointed with the service. I help an elderly woman who cant now her own lawn and employed your services. Every time I go to visit her after her lawn is mowed, its either half cut, not properly cleaned, grass all over the drive and under cars and alongside of the house where it gets inside. Its so disrespectful to provide a service where you cant guarantee a good job especially to someone that needs the help. As well not committing to scheduled visits and leaving her wondering when she would get her lawn mowed leaving her almost a month without service. Id give you all a zero if I could.

First person left patches of grass un-mowed. Someone else showed up a week early and just started mowing. When I gave them all information of new bank, including card # over a week before next mow and 12 days before new account/card# to be used...they charged my old account/card# and caused me all kinds of issues as I closed my old account. All this in 6 weeks. Not happy.
Amazing job! Very respectful young man! Lawn looks great! The customer service people are also very nice and more than willing to help. If things dont make sense they will gladly explain without the nasty attitude. Positive

This is literally the worst company on the planet. Aaron Spradlin is the worst lawn care professional to ever step foot on my property. LawnStarter thinks providing credits is the way to do business. 2/3 mows with them have been the worst experience and I am tired of it.

These people are so friendly, responsive, attentive, thorough, and affordable. My lawn and gardens look beautiful! I am a single mom managing a house of my own, and LawnStarter has taken some overwhelming tasks off my plate at a cost I can afford, which is a huge win-win for me. Highly recommended!
I love the ease and efficiency of Lawn Starter. My yard always looks tidy and it is done in a timely manner. I never have to worry about it not getting done and the app makes it so easy to schedule or cancel maintenance. My yard looks better than everyone elses yard even in the wintertime.

This company is a bad joke. They ll quote you a price, then want more to actually perform any service...it s the classic Bait and Switch routine, which is illegal under business law. My advice is to NEVER use this company for anything!
