Durham Lawn and Landscaping in Dayton

I hired this guy to put some drain tile in my backyard. We agreed that I would pay half up front and half after and after that he would come out ONE month later to flatten out the ground where the tile was put in and put grass seed down. He is now several months late. He gave me the run around for awhile, one excuse after another. He kept ensuring he would get to it that week. I told him to just give me some money back and I would deal with it to which he replied, "I was going to do that part for free". He is now completely ignoring me. I've sent texts, left voice-mails, and still nothing. If you do go with this guy, do NOT pay him until the job is 100% done. See the attached photos. They don't even do the mess he made of my yard justice. Update: He actually made my problem worse. I was told he improperly installed the drain tile which is now causing flooding on my patio. Jason is always quick to take care of my lawn. Always professional and always responds when I reach out at odd times for a cutting. Highly recommend if you like quick, professional and exceptional lawn care. Just a great guy who knows how to run a business the right way. And no, I’m not related to him nor did I know him prior to contacting him for my first mowing with his company. I’ve had bad landscapers and now that I e found a good one, I’m telling everyone.

I called for a quote on lawn mowing and they answered in a timely manner. Was very short, and not eager to provide much information about how their business functions and the services they provided. They were however able to give me a quote within a few hours on the cost for my lawn, which was more than what other business I have called have done thus far. [Edit] In relation to Jason's complaint, he was again very short and rushed me off of the phone. When I sent him the text message of my address and even a thank you, the only response I got was $50.00. This is not engaging for people who may be interested in your service as a first impression. You were quick to get upset when my review was not entirely negative. This is telling.
