JB's Power Equipment in Davis

I have visited JB shop several times since 1985 and rach time i was sold the right stuff with great customer service. I admire the gentleman at the counter with characteristic good old American ethics and knowhow.

These guys are super friendly and super helpful.

Bought my grass cutter here and I don't regret it.

Do not bring your chainsaw. I was not given any service on mine. They no longer work on them.

I was referred by Honda shop Sterling May in Wdl because JBs works on BSA motor now i have a brand new honda on my Walk behind tractor rototiller.

Oddly, there is also unpowered equipment. Pruning saws, hand pruners and small sickle-like knives. They also sharpen tools and mowers, and were the go-to place for Cid to take the pruners at the end of the season.

They really helped me out when I'd screwed up my puny little home & garden electric chainsaw. Didn't look down or talk down to me, just fixed it and showed me what to do next time. Oh, and I think the guy charged me $2 - I insisted on giving him $5 for fast, friendly & accurate service.
