Higher Ground has installed my outdoor Christmas lights for multiple years and they do exemplary work and are very dedicated to achieving the best result possible. They are simply the very best!! If there is an issue with the timers or the lights themselves as this type of lighting seems to be prone to needing a lot of hands on care, the owner himself is here really fast without question to fix any issue Exceptional service all the way through removing the lights after the holidays.

I cannot say enough good things about Higher Ground!! JP (the owner) came and evaluated my lawn earlier this year, which had unfortunately suffered from much neglect by the previous owner. Lots of weeds and crab grass despite having Zoysia grass (which, if you know anything about grass, is really great quality grass). JP came up with a great program to rehab my lawn and his guys have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. They re very thorough and have really made drastic improvements to the quality of my yard. I couldn t be happier. I found Higher Ground via the Google Reviews here - and I gotta say - they ve definitely led me in the right direction! If you have a lawn that needs help, these are the guys to call.

They were very polite and courteous, but were highest of the estimates I received for lawn fertilization @ $135 down then $67.50 every other month. Other companies offering same services were around $110 down then $40 per every other month. They were cheaper for irrigation inspection $90 estimate, plus any other repairs.

This is our first year doing Christmas lights, and using Higher Ground. We chose them first because of their responsiveness. We reached out to several companies in the beginning, and they were the only ones that answered our questions in a reasonable amount of time. The entire process was easy and professional from start to finish. Even after the lights were installed, one of our breakers tripped, no fault of this company. But it made the timer of our lights be off by hours. I mentioned it to them, and someone came out to fix it later that same day. We will be using them every year as far as Im concerned and highly recommend them.

Since Higher Ground Lawn Service have been treating my lawn for weeds, I honestly can attest that the treatment plan is excellent. In the past 2 years after allowing a well known lawn treatment service to fertilize and provide weed control service I was extremely disappointed and frustrated! The grass was thick but it wasn t vibrant. However after seeking a quality service I was blessed to express my concerns to JP and be reassured thru his knowledge and experience that my lawn would be weed free and thrive in the process. My lawn has received 3 treatments and I marvel at what I see, there are NO WEEDS( Dallisgrass doesn t stand a chance against this treatment) and my lawn is not only thick but it now has vitality! We love working with Higher Ground! First and most importantly - Their product is effective! They turned our back yard from a weed infested mess into a beautiful space again in just a few weeks. Second - They are great at communicating and getting back to you in a timely manner. We get text notifications the day before a treatment is done and any time we have questions, they get right back to us same day or next. JP and his team have done a wonderful job bringing our yard back to life after it was put through the ringer during foundation repairs to our home, and they did a wonderful job on our outside lighting. We have switched to Higher Ground because our previous lawn care company was not spraying our church lawn honestly. Higher Ground gave us a written estimate with a aerial photo and measurements of the property. They respond promptly to inquiries and questions. The price was very reasonable. They have come and treated our lawn twice and both times, weve seen them through our surveillance cameras to be doing their job as written and promised. They were kind enough to lock up our gate after the treatments. So far, we are happy with their service.

So I am new to the Midlothian area. I found out about higher ground from my yard service guy @beatylawncare. HG came highly recommended and if I must say I am blown away by the results of just one single treatment. I did say I just moved here....guys and gals it took me years to get weeds out of my old yard that Higher Ground has done with one application. I spent a lot of money on brand name fertilizer at the local Home Depot. I don t know what organic mix they have but crab grass aka grassy grass has been my worst enemy. Upon closing on new home and moving in there were just too many dandelion and gassy grass weeds to count. Now I am only at the second phase today of their aggressive treatment plan to apply a second round then fertilize the grass. I ve seen so much improvement from the first applied about 10 days ago. Excited to see what it looks like in 2 more weeks! Normally I don t leave a review on companies this fast! However when HG does something that took me years to do and I can just sit back and watch my yard grow just weeks upon moving in. This company deserves my efforts to spread the word of their work on them. I am now looking at their full arrangement of services now they offer lol. Company was referred to me by my landscaping provider. Called the number, quickly set me ip with a home visit to provide a custom estimate. On site, the person analyzed the grass, sprinkler schedule and provided information and beat practices for watering. Since this was a newly constructed homesite, I opted for an annual service plan. Receiving the estimate and providing payment was very easy and stress free. This was a big concern since I travel frequently I didn t want to contract a service where I had to be home. Since Higher Ground has started maintaining my yard it had definitely grown well. The body and texture of the grass is full and grass bounces back after you step on it. Ive had my neighbor, the Door dash, and Prime delivery comment positively on the grass. The color Is darker then most yards in my immediate vicinity. Overall this is a great company and well worth the charges. They are quick to respond to any seasonal pest issues and are thorough in their work!! Highly Recommend!

I was dealt a bad hand. The sod my builder installed was simply poor quality Bermuda. Furthermore, too much sand was used to level my yard prior to the sod installation. Ive had several Bermuda yards over the years and all seem to look fairly nice over time with regular watering and a bit of fertilizer. Not this yard. In fact, I tried everything from upgrading my sprinkler system to simply replacing large areas of sod. Nothing I tried seem to work. I just kept spending and spending with nothing to show for it. My lawn mowing service offered a fertilization service, but that too yielded anemic result as it was a one size fits all solution. I was at my wits end. One day, I did a Google search and found Higher Ground; a company specializing in fertilization. I read the long succession of 5-star reviews and decided to take a chance. Im so glad I did. JP spent lots of one on one time with me listening to my complaints with the lawn and coming up with a custom solution. After a couple of weeks, my lawn woke up! Yes, my lawn was literally transformed over a two week span. I was convinced Id finally found the right company. In addition to the customized program, JP set up a watering program and explained in simple terms how it would help transform the lawn. It worked. Today, my lawn looks better than it has ever looked. JP from Higher Ground is a man of his word. Also the kind of guy to give you the shirt off his back. This guy worked wonders on my TruGreen abused yard. Had TruGreen for years, where they mix a batch of stuff at the plant and spray everyone s yard with the same stuff. Not HigherGround. JP came over, inspected my issues, and seriously came through. My yard turned around so fast, my neighbors on all sides also signed up with him. I ll never go anywhere else. This guy and his Team are real Professionals!
