I would say what services they preformed but they didn't do anything. They charged me for services and didn't show up or call. I would not recommend them. Search for another company for lawn services. Update from this morning 9/22/22 the crew moved my neighbor's yard across the street. I don't know how my address is marked on the crub and on my house. This is my first experience with this company and it's already miserable.
Great lawn maintenance on short notice. Reasonably priced. Great customer service. Their Full Service Package takes care of my hedges and beds. They always do a wonderful job. Highly recommend.
Long overdue review but have been very happy customer with Timberline. They have been our regular yard maintenance service for about 2-3 years now and service and reliability much better than prior company I had. We also recently used them for tree trimming and cleanup earlier this Spring (I try to do this every 1-2 years to get rid of dead branches and general good maintenance of the trees) and they did an outstanding job! They have also been great about mulching flower beds and other general yard maintenance. Recommend!
This company comes and does the lawn next to my house blows all the leaves from that house to my house now my yard guy has to deal with that instead of them picking it up which they get paid to do unprofessional that and you get nothing but a recorded line when you try to get ahold of somebody called the 507 number and the local area number nobody could be reached
As a real estate investor, what's important to me in looking for a company to entrust my business to is communication and reliability. Timberline Lawn & Landscape delivers those two things in spades. From first contact I received a response within the same day and got a quote on time as promised. The work done on my properties is what was agreed upon, and whenever there was something that causes a change in plans, I get notified and things do not get done without my approval. The prices are fair across the board and billing is easy, something I enjoy as someone who owns multiple rentals. If I had a question about something, I can easily reach someone and if they have something on their end, they reach out to me as well. For example, inclement weather. All in all, they make my life easier and for that I am glad.
We used Timberline (under prior ownership) on multiple rental properties weekly for years but cancelled in 2018. Service went downhill after the company was sold around 2016. The lawn care was spotty as different people always showed up, the treatment schedule was inconsistent, communication and accounting was poor, and the owner/manager never could really resolve or prevent problems. With so many landscaping companies out there, I cannot recommend using Timberline at this time. Response: Yes, this is a real review. As an example, Timberline charged us $900 in August 2018 for weekly services on multiple properties that they neglected to bill in a timely manner as the service was done.
I have been using Timberline for a few years now and I couldn't be happier with a lawn care service. Not only do they do a fantastic job on my yard, working with Richard is very pleasant and you can tell the staff cares about their clients. They have gone above and beyond and it's so easy to sign up for services on the website or make adjustments when needed. They always answer my questions promptly.
What a horribly unprofessional company. I signed up for lawn care service through Timberlines website and received a call from Richard a day after signing up. I spoke with him about what I was looking for and informed him my yard was particularly overgrown due to a cancellation with another local company. He informed me this would be no problem and they would be out the following day to service my lawn. The following day they were a no show and I received no calls or explanations. I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt since rain has been heavy in the area and they could just have been behind (would be nice to get a call but ohh well it happens). Well they were no show the following day as well so I put a call into their offices (no answer). The following day I received a call saying they would be out that day as they were, as I suspected, behind. Again another no show. I called the following day and was assured again they would be out that day. Close to the after noon still no show I put another call into Timberline and was told that they drove by my property and because the yard was over grown they couldn't spend the time to cut it and would be back out to do it on "their schedule" in two weeks at the earliest. What the hell kind of service is this. I mean no calls, canceled appointments, and blowing me off because they don't "have the time." Do yourself a favor and find another lawn company to work with this one simply doesn't know how to handle business.
My service was cancelled in November or December. I just realized Timberline had charged me every month for $332, even though they have not serviced be in over 5 months. I am so frustrated.
I called for a sod installation, the work was very excellent and quick, I liked it so much that I decided to subscribe to the weekly landscape maintenance, I recommend them 100%!
I highly recommend!! great service Alex has been serving my lawn for a while and has been doing a great job nice and friendly!! he is always careful with my sprinkler heads and does a great job highly recommend timberline.

Awful customer service. Over charged me and NEVER returned my calls. Our lawn has never looked worse. They brought weeds into our yard likely from not cleaning their equipment. Customer service never answers the phone. Do yourself a favor and pick another company!
Signed up for service with TImberline for ~4 weeks and already had to cancel. Every single week they would not come unless I called/texted and asked why they did not show up and had to remind them to service my lawn. When they did come, would not cut the grass very short and it would already be too long a couple days after they left. Would not recommend at all...definitely better / more reliable options.
Very professional and hard working guys. They love to exceed expectations. I got much better quality stone and way more plants for my flowerbeds than I expected. Great value for the money. I look forward to working with these guys on my next landscaping project!

The owner claimed we were trying to extort money from him after one his drivers backed the cage on his truck into my family SUV, claimed the vehicle was a personal vehicle and the driver didnt have permission to drive it, went back and forth between the vehicle being insured and uninsured, claimed both vehicles collided into each other at the same time, and the list goes on. I wouldnt recommend doing business with someone who struggles so hard with accountability and the truth. If he would like to challenge any of these claims, I would be more than willing to share all conversations and texts messages.

Richard Lavery, the owner of Timberline Lawn and Landscaping, charged me for services in February and twice in March 2015. His crew never showed up at my home in North Dallas for those months. When I asked him about this, he insisted they came to my house, yet he would not show up to the home and look for himself at the condition of the yard. He seemed apathetic about it and essentially stated I was lying to him. In fact, his story changed several times. At first, he apologized and stated that he mistakenly deleted my house off his list. When I asked him for a refund for those months in question, he stated that he only recently deleted my house off his list and that it did not affect the February and March services. Does that make any sense? Later, he told me he did not want to be raked over the coals for things like this and that he was not working for me any longer. He hung up the phone shortly after. I was extremely disappointed with the poor customer service I received from him. He stated he would refund me for the services; this still has not happened. I reported him to the Better Business Bureau as well as to my credit card company for fraud. Readers, please... there are far too many lawn service companies in the North Dallas area to have to deal with this poor kind of behavior. Do yourself a favor and look at another company-
Richard is great, 100% recommend him. I am sure most of you are similar to me and are skeptical and cautious about hiring anyone and paying them a large amount of money to work on your home. However I could not have been more satisfied with the results from Timberline. I showed him multiple pictures of different backyards and told him that I wanted this area to look like this and this area like this, etc. etc. And he delivered. The yard looks exactly the way I pictures. EXACTLY. from the color and texture of the pavers he used, to the gravel, to the dimensions, everything. Richard went to 3-4 different supply stores to make sure that he got all the right material. I applaud him on his professionalism and work ethic.

Richard did a great job redoing all of the landscaping at my house. The house looks great without having to pay too much. Richard is responsive and professional. He also has done a nice job with the yard maintenance since taking over for a company that did an awful job. My yard has gone from a disappointment to a pleasure. I have referred Timberline to two friends already, and would do so again.
Richard is the BEST. Timely, competitive and a man of his word. No need to look any further!
