We have had a truly horrible experience with Lawns of Dallas. They failed us in every aspect of our project - timeline management, communication, quality of products, and professionalism. I have several dozen emails and texts that would represent all of those issues. I would gladly speak with anyone who is considering this company for their landscaping so that I could share all of the details of how poorly they treated us. Here are just a FEW examples: 1. Little to none of the work done on our property was shared with us for approval before installation. Plants have had to be replaced constantly because nobody asks us what we want before they put them in. These assumptions and lack of care have led to several plants and our fence to constantly be replaced - none of which we feel is 100% satisfactory to this point. 2. After meeting with them in March of 2022, we were told that our timeline to total completion was in June 2022 at the latest, yet here we are at nearly March 2023 without a fully completed project. Our property and the work requested is not particularly complex at all. 3. The highest level of engagement we have received during this experience was when it was time to collect payment. This felt particularly awful after our experience with the designer who was essentially only a salesman - he pretty much disappeared after our first two meetings. We were chased to pay our invoice quite persistently, yet when it came to actual execution of the work that urgency suddenly disappeared. I typically only post positive reviews of companies as I believe there are many reasons things can go wrong, especially in a difficult industry like landscaping. That said, we gave Lawns of Dallas months of opportunity to course correct and they continue to show a lack of care or respect. I strongly discourage anyone from working with this company.

Flat out not worth the money. They ll sell you on their premium management skills, but it s just not true. They won t honor their warranty and try to overcharge at every opportunity. Severely disappointed in my experience after several months of discussions with upper level management and continual price gouging. Ignore the comment from Owner below they ve repeatedly failed to remedy the situation.

They do a great job for our construction projects they are on time, they do what they say there are going to do, they solve problems, and they are responsive.

We trusted Lawns of Dallas to deliver a new landscaping package for a fairly large project our company was performing for Richardson ISD. They were helpful in solving several issues due to existing conditions that were out of their control. The crew was quick and professional and the new landscaping looks great! They left the jobsite spotless in all areas in which they worked, which is a rarity in the commercial construction industry. Lawns of Dallas will be at the top of the list for us moving forward on projects of all sizes.

I am a superintendent for a commercial GC. Lawns of Dallas is hands down the best landscaping subcontractor I ve ever used. A rare blend of high quality, fast work and fair billing.

The landscape designers are top notch. I have a very unique yard with hard scape, sculptures and stonework. I love how they designed it. They get an A plus! I have used the maintenance service for over a year. They are good but not great. I frequently need to direct their attention to very obvious issues. (Hedges unevenly trimmed, weed not pulled etc). For now I am sticking with them because they do respond when I point it out but at their price point I don t feel like I should have to.

All good with good intentions but as COVID hit and labor issues then our on going irrigation issue are outrage during to ole issue that s been maintained poorly but previous company s we as a HOA have had issues and we as a group don t feel good about overall service for price

They have let a lot of bushes die because they turned the sprinkler system off! Now they want us to pay almost $3,000.00 for THEIR error. I called them but have no expectation of a return call nor them owning up to their mistake.

We just had our front yard landscaping redone by Lawns of Dallas, and couldn t be more pleased. The design was just what I was looking for and more. The people doing the actual work were efficient and professional and cleaned the work space every day. The results were lush and beautiful, and we are so thrilled with the results. Lawns of Dallas did an excellent job with the landscaping for our 200,00 SF commercial office building in Richardson. They have been very responsive, thorough, and professional in all aspects of their work - I would highly recommend to any property manager or owner.

We are thrilled with Lawns of Dallas! Our landscaping turned out just like we envisioned! From the initial meetings to final results they were professional, punctual and have very lovely employees. Never had to call and ask when they were showing up next. They did an excellent job and we would recommend to anyone!

Weve had them for over 6 months now at our HOA and these guys are definitely not worth the money. Other than mowing the front yard once or twice per month (maybe 15 min job each time) theyve yet to do any work around the building or trim the trees, do landscaping or clean the dead plants). @lawns of Dallas....yes, I am absolutely certain. Since March (when HOA engaged the company) crews have only done full agreed upon service once, and instead of servicing our property several times per month, most months crews showed up once or less frequently. Also, whats the point of leaving your phone number when you guys do not answer it or return calls. Our management company left at least half dozen messages with no call back. Of thats the service anyone is looking for, go with these guys.

Lawns of Dallas provided an excellent assessment, listened well to what we wanted and needed, gave expert feedback and performed professional work. Our only hiccup was needing them to come back out a second time because a couple agreed upon things were left undone. But they responded promptly and finished the work well, within a weeks time. Great team and they do a fantastic job!

Was referred to Lawns of Dallas by a close friend for a nice project. A LoD employee came out in a timely manner and met with me, said that they d be more than able to help with my project but requested a few days to generate a quote for me. Perfect, I thought! I waited a week and followed up with two phone calls to the employee I met with and my calls were never returned. My project wasn t going to be a massive but it would have transformed the look of my home. Disappointing experience.

I give Lawns of Dallas 5 stars. They were very knowledgeable on what would work best for my lawn. I asked them to plant certain things but they sat down and explained how the plants I wanted would not be the best choice. They recommended other plants that would adapt better to the weather here. Ended up being cheaper than my original plan. Also cheaper than any other company I contacted. They walked me through the entire process from start to finish. They made sure I was happy with the finish product. When there in the neighborhood they will stop by to say Hi. ( Like family) I will definitely have them come out to do more work. I have and will recommend them to all my friends and family. OUTSTANDING JOB GUYS!

Lawns of Dallas has provided cost-effective landscaping services to our Homeowners Association for several years. On the whole, their service has been outstanding. When we have had issues, they have always been addressed promptly. In particular, our Account Manager, Walter Teague, has always been exceptionally courteous, caring for each of our homeowners as individuals, when necessary. LAWNS OF DALLAS: Several years ago I contracted with Lawns of Dallas on Ambassador Row to transform what was at that time an empty front yard enclosed space into what is now my beautiful and deeply treasured front Courtyard. I was so impressed and pleased with my Courtyard results that I went on to have more and more work done by this very talented group of landscaping experts. Ross Mittelstet, in charge of design, implementation and oversight, has done consistently fine work on my various landscaping projects, along with his team of experts that include Jean Williams and Linda Pitts in the office, Cipriano Almaguer and Jorge Figueroa, the Master Mechanics of the Sprinkling System, Ruben Cuellar, Brick Layer par excellance, Jesus Chavez, Master Landscape Installer, Epifanio Sanchez, Irrigator Specialist and the many others, too numerous to mention here, who have been/are all a delight to work with. In addition to the design and planting of trees, bushes, ground cover and flowers, the Lawns of Dallas workers have done great brick and stone work, water re-direction, grading, Sprinkling System changes/upgrades/upkeep, along with a host of other landscape-related work for me, all done with care, precision, expertise and the finest of craftsmanship. I could not be more pleased with the results. In the future, I will continue to rely upon these fine people for periodic upkeep and maintenance of my property. In my opinion, they are the Best of the Best. I happily give their company as well as each of their employees with whom I have interacted the rating of 5 gold stars! I have used Lawns of Dallas at multiple locations. From design work to basic lawn service they have a very professional staff. They treat each project like it is there own project. Easy to work with and if you are looking for a luxury lawn service Lawns of Dallas is your company.

Do not hire! I retained this company, based on their reputation. I could not believe how unprofessional and shady they were. I gave them one star, because there was no option for ZERO. 1) They showed up to work, including demolition, before we agreed on plan, terms or had signed any papers. 2) They completely demolished existing structures before realizing they might need new survey. 3) They planted weak shrub in the late fall and only guaranteed them 3 months, instead of one full growing season. 4) They unnecessarily reconfigured my irrigation (at additional expense) where it does not adequately support the new planting - dying. 5) hey did not follow city code on construction and then tried to convince me I didnt need city approval - still while demanding payment. Do not hire! My nightmare continues, having to hire someone to re-do NEW irrigation and purchase and install new plantings...will cost me another $1000.
