We hired Palos Landscaping to completely gut our current landscaping/yard and start over new. From irrigation, to French drains, rock beds and laying new sod. He was responsive and made sure we were involved in all the decisions. Overall, very pleased in how things have turned out.

I hired palos Landscaping to do my backyard, I needed new plants, soil and mulch for it to look better, I have to say they did a great job . The flowers look beautiful they had lots of color and the black mulch was a excellent choice. Thank you guys I really appreciated the hard work and dedication ya put into my new home!

Used Palos to overhaul our landscaping and they were outstanding. Very attentive and listened to our requests. I ve used some of the big name landscape companies before, and these guys were just as good at a much more reasonable price.

Palo s landscaping did a fantastic job on our backyard. He performed two consultations to review what we wanted and even though we had an idea, he worked with us and was patient enough to make our visions a reality. His team came and knocked out the yard in a few days. They were very communicative with what was going on and let me know when each phase would be done. Very fair on pricing, and even accommodated our last-minute requests as we saw our yard come to life. Very good service and would highly recommend Palo s landscaping for any future projects.

I haven t had to report a business to anywhere before but I am looking into it. I contracted Palos Landscaping to do a patio extension on a previous patio they installed. They were difficult to schedule with. They cancelled. They set a day and time to which they were late. They did not install base rock or compact the soil as listed in the contract. They did not round the edges or texture the top seamlessly as agreed. They have not provided receipts for any project. They left the yard in disarray. They kept us up until the middle of the night due to their late arrival and start. They collected a 50% deposit on an amount more than agreed in the contract, then collected the rest after they said they were finished, and then told us they could not do everything they said they could. When I tried to work this out with them they said it could not be done and then asked for more money to fix their mistakes that was originally included in what was already paid. If they could not provide service already paid for they could have issued a refund for services not rendered but they refused. I will have the patio fixed by other means since Palos Landscaping is not going to correct their mistakes. Lack of punctuality, professionalism, quality, responsiveness, and customer service is no way to run a business. This company accepted a deposit and more than the amount stated in the contract paid in full while knowingly being in breach of contract for services not rendered specifically stated in the contract, violation of agreement for not providing all services verbally agreed upon, and not keeping appropriate records or business practices since receipts cannot be provided for any projects. They should have to operate in good faith using good business practices or be out of business.

Bad experience. Breach of contract. 3 day job lasted 10 days. He did not honor his own written agreement. Should have read his reviews before working with him.

I made a appointment with Diana on 3/312021 for 4/3/2021. The appointment was for 1pm and it kept changing through out the day.I was accommodating. John showed up to look at my yard to complete measurements and get a idea of what I wanted.He left saying he would have a estimate for me within 24 hours. I am still waiting here on 4/19. I have called to speak to John on 4/8 and he said that he would email me that day.None of this has happened.

Updated Review: At first, Palo is very responsive and it seemed that he followed through on plans. The first red flag was when they promised to consult with me on the types of plants that we would use. I expressed that I wanted something simple and low maintenance for a small flower bed and that $1,000 with of plants seemed exorbitant. He promised that we will discuss the plants that will be used. Instead, he decided to take it upon himself to choose all the plants which cost probably less than $500. Ok fine, its been done, moving on. Secondly, Ive installed an outlet cover for the front porch to keep it closed and away from the elements. For weeks, Palo has promised to move the the transformer that he installed on the front porch leaving the outlet wide open. Not to mention its a complete eye sore. The final icing on the proverbial cake was seeing him on my cameras taking photos of my yard. So he would have time to go on my property without my consent, take his photos and then forget to move the transformer as promised. What a class act. Save yourself the long term headache and stay away from this crook. Furthermore, the crew is a bit creepy and rude. My back door is closed and I was busy tending to the garden. One guy decided it s appropriate to let himself through the backyard and wandering around. When I asked his can I help him he said nothing. Then proceeded to give me his personal card. Clearly I was busy, but to him it was social hour. Moments later, another crew member rang the front doorbell and rather rudely asked if the same creep that wondered into my backyard could use the restroom. I ve worked with many contractors bc we re undergoing a full renovation and I must say never have I felt so uncomfortable in my own house.

I had Palos weed and mulch my horribly overgrown backyard beds a few months ago. It wasnt a big job, but he was very prompt in coming over and giving me an estimate and then doing the job a few days later. Beds looked fabulous when he was done - much better than I could have done.

Poor quality. Got the payment and NEVER finish the job. Broke some lights and NEVER replaced them or pay for those. We called many times and never came. Some of my neighbors had the same experience. Negative

I made the mistake of paying in full and they never finished the job. Now they wont even respond to me. Took my money and ran. Stay away unless you like being robbed!

I ve called a few weeks ago and still haven t received a response. This is bad business.

I wouldn t recommend using Palos Landscaping. The communication with John was horrible and we ended up paying for items that they didn t fulfill on their bid (which we found out later). One of the items was the drainage system they were supposed to put down along with the pavers, which he told us they did. We didn t realize they hadn t done that when they laid the pavers down. We re trustworthy and believe people do what they say they re going to do, especially when it s a business owner and they put all the information in a bid. Well, we found out real fast after the first heavy rain. Water was on-top of our pavers and pushing over into our back patio slab which connects to our back door. I sent John pictures and a video right away. He said he would come by. We had some else come out to look at it and he confirmed there was not a drainage system installed. We called and texted John several times after that. Either there was an excuse he couldn t come by or he completely ignored us and didn t respond at all. We have made several attempts for him to correct the issue. We didn t even ask for our money back, we just wanted him to complete the project that we paid for. This past week (4 months later) I attempted to contact him a few more times before posting this review; however, no response (what a surprise). He has no respect, I guess he doesn t care about making it right because he already got paid. So now we re going to have to get someone else to come fix it so our house doesn t flood the next time a tropical storm/hurricane or major downpour happens. This is really unfair. Very unprofessional company and very frustrating to deal with ..

This construction company is not professional. Jonathan gave us a quote from a photo from the company s social media page and tried to used different ( cheaper) materials from the photo on our property. The job he agreed to do was a gift for my wife. He assured us the job would be completed before my wife s party, however is was not complete. Three weeks after the projected project completion date and the job is still not complete. Jonathan is not to be trusted. Please don t waste your time and money with this company.

Im glad I looked at these reviews before picking Palos Landscaping to do my entire front yard. This landscaping company seems to be very unreliable and the owners response to D. Brown below is pretty unbelievable.

Couldnt get a call back to schedule service. They must be booked up but at least return a potential customers call to inform them of that.

I am very disappointed. He did not fulfill his promise by keeping his word. So sad when you give a company many chances hoping that they will keep their end of the agreement and they just ignore the importance of good customer service. After the job was done but my yard still needed attention (I have a warranty) the only follow-up I had was broken promises, his crew never showed up.

I did not hear from him for a week until I nudged him, then he just said sorry we have a minimum . Apparently John from Palos Landscaping did not think I had the money for a job over 1,000. They advertise in Deer Park pages but then claim it is too far and have to charge for the trip. I went with Honest Green Landscaping LLC Instead.

Did not complete work. Although I was put of town; he insisted on being paid right away. He has ignored my calls and messages for over a month now.

Was expecting to get a quote today, never recieved a call back or email from the lady that answered the phone. Guess they dont need the business.

I highly recommend these guys and will be using them for future projects at my home.

This is a crew of well qualified young lanscapers and yard builders. Just be upfront about the price, the material, deliveries, cleaning and other details of the job and the budget and all will be fine. I had a good experience. They built up a flagstone walkway on a concrete base for me. About 120 x 3 ft. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. We had some miscommunication about the pricing but in the end everything was resolved amicably and I strongly recommend them for future work and will hire them again when needed.

After having a new septic system installed, we were left with huge piles of dirt in the yard and lots of drainage issues. We requested quotes from a few local companies. Palos was the most reasonable by far and the most professional as well. John took photos and measurements for his estimate and always did what he said he would when he said he would. If there was a change, he notified me timely and communicated throughout the process. All in all, extremely professional and a job very well done. I ll definitely be using them again. Highly recommend.

Cant say enough about their incredible work! Our property looks absolutely outstanding, when neighbors walk by they always stop to comment about it. They kept to the schedule we needed and to our budget. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone!

Updated review: After two months, the job is complete. The drainage issue was corrected and the steps were put in today. The incorrect rock was installed and we will have to live with what was installed, but it looks fine. Overall the work wasn t bad, but it took much longer and having to hound them to finish the job.

They are the best all around lawn care and landscaping company. So glad to have found them. Highly recommend
