Ive had Weed Man maintain my yard for a number of years and have been completely happy with their quality and service. I have horrible soil conditions and their treatments still outperform other lawn care businesses and certainly what I can do myself. The price is very reasonable. Their technicians are superb - always professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Weed Man even tries to schedule the same tech per treatment so they can see how the lawn is doing and make adjustments and recommendations to improve. Highly recommend!

Update as of 10/31/2023 I changed my score from 1 star to 4 star, because they responded to my complaint and admitted what happened, and wrote off the charges. The deducted 1 point is for the time and energy I wasted resolving the complaints. --------------------------- Let me tell you about their overseeding service. Their sales told me their machine do areation and overseeding altogether at the same time and all by using a composite machine -- They told me that the machine can punch holes and insert a handful of grass seeds in those holes. The result is very difficult to achieve manually. However, On the day of doing it, they sent two Mexican staff (I have full respect for Mexicans, but I need their staff can communicate with me using English) who couldnt speak English. They random spread the seeds - without putting the seeds into holes by machine. Instead, only spread seed on the surface, which was not at all what was said. Afterwards, The customer service also disappointed me by blaming me not watering well - it was a very bad experience.

I enjoy Weed Mans services above all because they are priced well and have good customer service. I never have to worry about if Im home or not because they will service my yard regardless - & I know when they came because they always leave a sign staked in the yard. If I ever needed to cancel or change anything it was easy and quick. Most importantly I could tell the difference in my yard. Good company, good service, cant go wrong.

Do not use their service for grub control. They do not give you details until after the chemical is applied. Weeks after they spread dylox on my lawn, it was still being dug up by an animal. They offered to reapply, and it still didnt work. Dont waste your money like I did. I didnt know my lawn had grubs until the technician came to inspect the problem. He is the one who told me there were grubs. Not worms or any other insect, as was suggested in the reply from the owner.

I tried this service for the first time during the summer of 2023.Happy with the results. Plus, both Mindy and Jay were a pleasure to deal with.

We liked Weed Man. We had a big problem with Ground Ivy (Glechoma hederacea) that was crowding the plants in our yard. Ground Ivy is invasive (mint family) and really hard to eradicate, especially if your neighbors dont deal with it in their yard. The first season Weed Man came out, they got control of it and after a year or so the Ground Ivy wasnt a problem anymore. Weed Man has an annual package to treat your lawn for weeds and pests, to fertilize, aerate and for lime applications. After we pointed out which plants we wanted to keep and which we considered to be weeds, they treated the yard as we would have done ourselves. We have a water feature and the Weed Man crew were careful not to kill the fish in it. The yard really looks good and the neighbors always compliment us about how lush and green it looks so we give a lot of referrals for Weed Man. The only problem we had that was that a couple of years ago a pergola arch we have in the back yard was dislodged by Weed Mans aerating equipment and we have never quite been able to get it level and plumb again, but we really hated to take a whole star off for that because everything else has been so good. If you want a beautiful lawn, you wont regret calling Weed Man to treat it.

This company is very professional and the results are fantastic. My yard is the best it has ever been. It took 2 years to get it to look this good, but each year it has improved dramatically. I now have a thick lawn that has almost zero issues, is dark and lush. Have patience as the product does work.

Very friendly from top to bottom. Very neat and yard looks better than it ever did. They always send a text a day or two ahead to tell you when theyre coming so you can cut the grass before they come if you want.

Each technician over the past years is knowledgeable and very professional. Whenever I have had a question they spend the time to explain and are sincerely interested.

Ive been using Weed Man for about a year and a half. I had gone thru all the other services here in the Pittsburgh area and frankly they stunk. Weed Man has been treating my lawn for several years. They have managed to eliminate the difficult weeds that were present, including crab grass and creeping charlie. My lawn looks great.

For starters let me give the scenario I was given. We had agreed that they would treat a certain portion of my property with lawn treatments. Along with that I was told that I would be notified beforehand. The first treatment I was not notified and in addition I noticed that they seemed to not cover all the area under agreement. Second treatment - same thing so I called to let them know and they said they would make note. Third treatment they did call in advance and I made sure to mark where they were to treat and from that point things seemed to go ok. On a second note, I have a neighbor who did his own treatments and I can say that the differences between his and mine were minimal. So for the price and for fertilizers that they touted as being superior... I did not see much difference in the two so I question the value as well that their pitch has. After the experience, I cancelled them and even after that I continued to get call after call after call from them - none leaving a message. So eventually I did call them back to say to please stop calling. And I still got calls till I answered and read the caller the riot act. In short - the quality is fair but not great and surely not worth the aggravation and cost IMO.

I really debated for a while on whether I should use this service or not, and boy am I glad I did! My lawn is just gorgeous even after only one or two applications. Not only that, but the customer service is outstanding! Dave Brown contacts me and hes extremely honest and timely. How refreshing! It has been such a pleasure dealing with him and this company in general.

I am impressed with the proactive service provided by Weed Man lawn service!! We are customers of a couple years and have been very satisfied with our treatment plan. I received a notification that technicians were scheduled to evaluate our lawn. Figuring this was an annual review, I dismissed the notification. I was surprised to see three technicians with shovels and product in hand. They explained their previous technician applying our scheduled lawn treatment recognized a couple fertilizer burn marks. I actually noticed and blamed my husband/son for spilling gasoline while mowing! The burned grass was removed and fresh soil and grass seed were applied. They apologized that this even happened. (Mind you, I had not called and complained) These were not large areas!! This attention to detail is what I look for in a company...glad I don t have to look any further than Weed Man.
