Choice Landscaping has provided our condo association excellent services for many years. We requested some new plants in an area that needed updating. Charlie and one other worker were on time, worked consistently until the job was completed. We also needed dirt around the buildings and added dirt so that the area around the sidewalks were no longer a danger. Everything looks great!

Choice just finished a spring cleanup in my yard. The crew didnt mess around. They went straight to work and continued until the job was completed the right way. Bill also came up with a few inexpensive ideas to take care of some erosion problems Id been having. Plus, they have the best prices on rock salt in the Cudahy/St. Francis area. Theyre my go-to in the winter for salt.

Purchased 3 yards of soil, got 1.5 yards dirt, 1 yard clay, and a half yard of decent soil. Left msg for owner, no response whatsoever. Go elsewhere unless you want clay. Better yet, if you do want clay come buy it from me!

I have been calling numerous places trying to get a quote for snow removal. Its amazing how many businesses just dont respond. Bill responded instantly and provided very reasonable quotes for the season. I can now put my mind at ease knowing well be taken care of this upcoming season.

Made appointment for 7 am a week ago, he didnt email to cancel til 9 pm the night before. Re-scheduled for this morning at 7 am, at 7:30 i called him & he said he was 8 minutes away. At 8:15 I texted him I guess youre not coming. He claimed he didnt tell me he was coming, that he mixed me up with someone else with the same name. Unreliable before I even met the guy. No chance wed hire him.

Hired to remove two arborvitae and two bayberry bushes, because we were unable to do it ourselves. The area was to be prepped for new plants. The workers raked the area, which concealed the roots and were paid. When we were going to install edging, we found large roots ( 2 plus inches in diameter) under an inch of soil. Sent pictures to owner. No one came to remove them, so I ended up doing it myself with great difficulty and pain to my back. Very disappointed that we paid $1371 for a job so poorly done.

They just did some grading work to my house, they did a fantastic job and they provided such a quick turn around from inquiry/quote to completion that I am nothing but thrilled. Their prices are more than fair, I will definitely be calling again in the spring for more work.

Will is very knowledgeable and is super friendly and easy to talk to. He is awesome. Good guy. We had a three man team work on our projects. Overall, they did a good job. However, the jobs are charged by the hour plus materials. And, they were NOT in a hurry. There was no real use of power equipment and it was very manual. So, I had to tell them to stop once the job approached the six hour mark as it was getting over budget for me at the hourly rate. If budget is not an issue, Choice Landscaping has good people and they do good work.

I pull in..enter the shop and asked the guy, hey, is your salt still $7.50 for a 50lb bag, and he says, yes. I say, is your salt different than the guy 1 block away selling it for $10, his isnt magic salt, is it? He says nope, its exactly the same. I say, give me 2 bags! (I saved $5).

Here is a contractor that knows how to communicate clearly, effectively and in a timely manner. Bill showed up when he said he would to assess our project. I received the quote within an hour after he left. Once we approved the job he had the work scheduled within a couple days. The crew showed up when Bill said they would be there and did the work exactly as expected. Nice guys as well. If youve worked with contractors before you know how rare it is to have someone do what they say WHEN they say it. Choice Landscaping is a rare exception to that rule. Highly recommend.

We used Choice for trenching out landscape borders and they did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themselves beautifully.

The woman who works here is really rude and not at all personable or helpful. She made it very clear that despite the fact that I was here to spend money, I was an unwelcome burden. We have had a few deliveries from Choice in the past but I will definitely go elsewhere in the future...I do not appreciate being treated so rudely.

Very quick delivery and prompt, courteous service. We ordered 3 yards of garden soil to update our front yard landscape. We were informed that the garden soil was 2 parts top soil 1 part compost, but it isnt mixed together- so that presented a bit of a challenge. I simply chalk this up to a learning experience. We would certainly work with Choice again for our yard material needs.

We fired them. They arrived as scheduled (hence 2 stars instead of 1) but repeatedly did the following things: 1. Damaged solar lights: We had 2 sets of solar lights that they destroyed. There was no communication that this occurred and no follow up on reimbursement of the lights. 2. Damaged handrails in my front and backyard: My handrails are old, so had installed metal around the base so that they would not continue to damage them. Instead, they just started hitting the handrail posts higher than the metal with their trimmer. I would need to cover the entire handrail post in order for them not to damage them with their current technique. All that would need to be done is to stay low with the trimmer. I had to repair and repaint repeatedly. Again, no communication that this occurred from the company. We had to report it and there was no offer to repair damage. 3. We repeatedly asked to not cut the grass as short as they are cutting it. The grass continued to be cut too low and it would burn and die. I repeatedly had to plant more grass seed and water heavily after they mowed to save the grass. I rarely post bad reviews. There were too many issues for me to not share them publicly. 2 stars is generous. And yes...we told you, your employees etc with email proof. I neglected to mention a 4th issue. I had to add tile to my steps in the front because the tile was torn off the base. Again, no communication when it happened, I just had to see it for myself. Truthfully, I was in disbelief on that one.

On my 1st visit to this place, I was there 10 minutes before they opened and theyre crabby employee, who wouldnt even talk to me, snarled at me that theyre not open yet. I own 6 properties and I need lots of landscaping work done. Thanks for the heads up. I wouldnt go here for dandelines. I can find crabby jerks anywhere and would not give them my money.

Awesome service!! Found myself in a pickle needing 3 yards of gravel. Made a call to Choice at 9:30am for a 11:00am delivery. The answer I got was NO PROBLEM! At exactly 11:00am the truck was there. Thank Choice Landscaping you are definitely my Choice for all my need!!

Im impressed. Over the weekend I completed a web form requesting an estimate for some lawn services. On Monday morning I had an estimate in my inbox. I clicked approve and they were at my house within hours. Impressive.

Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do your landscaping. They return my call and tell me to fill out a request on their website. Then after radio silence for three weeks I send them an email. I was told they are too busy to do the work. Then why the hell even call me back to begin with??

Choice Landscaping is the best! My husband and I bought a home around four years ago and the landscaping was a disaster with no hope of salvaging. The entire yard along with a brick patio and minus two trees was ripped out! Bills (the owner) outstanding staff did an amazing job! Once the project started they were at my home every day until completed. They were professional and a pleasure to work with. I have used them ever since for spring and fall clean up along with snow removal. I have recommended them to my clients and friends. I wouldnt even consider using another landscaping company!

Bill came out right away and gave an estimate and the job was done several days after. The job looks great and would recommend them to others.

Maybe the service is good? I wouldnt know because after I approved the quote for service they didnt respond back to me. This guy even has a answer service and yet he still couldnt find the time to pick of the phone and say Im terribly busy or Well get to you next week or even I cant do your lawn service. Something, anything, would have been better than nothing. A week of emails and voicemails and I gave up. My lawn wasnt going to wait any longer. Someone else will be getting my business.
