I had a great experience with Kenneth and the landscaping group. They provided a clear scope of work of what they would do for a fair price and did an excellent job. Will use them again.
This review is for Home Grown's construction division. I'm overall disappointed with how our project played out. They were very slow (6 weeks!) to respond to several issues that arose at the end. We eventually had to finish the job ourselves, at our own expense.
Very nice staff. They had just what I needed, iron supplement for low pH soil. Lots of nice Holiday stuff too. Great local store for plants.
Love this place for their high-quality organic vegetable starts! Very accommodating. Definitely prefer to shop here over the big box stores. 5 Stars!!
What a perfect little garden shop!! I just visited for the first time (late december) and they STILL had a great variety of indoor house plants. All 4 plants I bought I had never seen in any store before, and two are rare philodendrons that I have been searching for! The price point was great, seemed right on par with the areas prices, and again, I found a few rare plants for under $30!!! It doesnt get much better than this. The woman at the front was incredibly kind, helpful with care instructions, and made me feel like a friend who had been coming by for ages. I honestly wish I could have spent more time in there, it was a very peaceful and lovely space!! I will absolutely be back!
It's a nice spot here in Southern Corvallis. Staff is very professional and courteous. We were told all plant selections are meant to grow well in Willamette Valley climate. We are very happy about it. We purchased a beautiful STAR JASMINE - Trachelospermum jasminosides yesterday.
Live 45 minutes away in Eugene, but will always go here from now on for my gardening needs. Prices: you can't beat. 5/5 People: are helpful and friendly. 5/5 Variety of plants and availability: 5/5 Organic variety available: 5/5 Quality tools: 5/5 Beautiful home goods: 5/5 REMINDS ME OF Reed & Cross/Grays but A LOT less expensive. Love this place!!!
Haven't been to a nursery for many years, was very pleased with the quality of health in the plants and the amazing selections. Had to be careful to not overspend due to how many plants I wanted to walk out of there with. Great staff and never once felt rushed by them. I just wish I could rent a hammock and take a nap with all the wonderful smells. So fun to watch all the hummingbirds. Next time I go I will be ready to take some pictures as I was able to almost just reach out and te ouch them.

Its real easy to miss this nursery driving south on 99 w out of Corvallis, and that would be mistake, the people are great and plant selection is very good.

A friend & I window-shopped for hours on several cold, wet days, never buying a thing. The friendly, knowledgeable staff didn t rush us. When it was finally time for me to dive into the gardening life, Home Grown Gardens met all my needs: a gorgeous glass bird bath - ck. Coconut coir - a sustainable substitute for peat - ck. Healthy plants I needed & some extras I couldn t resist - ck. Thank you for making me a very happy hands-in-the-dirt person! See you soon.

I stopped at HGG today looking for a plant to put in a showy spot in our yard. A guy immediately asked if he could help me and after listening intently, got me their plant expert, Barry. I think he was the nicest, most thorough and generous nursery professional that I ve ever spoken to. He really listened to what I was looking for and the conditions I would be planting in and gave me so many wonderful choices that it was almost hard to decide! I learned so much from this gentleman in the time that I was there. Checking out, the two ladies at the cash register were so lovely and helpful that when I left I felt like I couldn t wait to go back. And I will go back. We have now worked with two construction projects with Home Grown. Three retaining walls and a huge paver patio. Working with James to plan out our dream yard and with Warren building the projects, have been wonderful to deal with. They listen to what we want and help us understand the process. If we have any concerns, they are on top of it right away and are fast to take care of what we need. We have more projects in mind and HOME GROWN GARDENS will always be the first to call. This is by far the best garden store in the area! Their plants are not only the healthiest around but they are big and mature for the same price as smaller plants at other garden stores. The entire staff is helpful and know a tremendous about plants and landscaping. I cant say enough great things about Home Grown Gardens!

Has many knickknacks to decorate your garden/yard. Good source of veggies. We have been customers for 5 years, very happy .

I can find plants and products here that I dont see other places. Plus their plants always look well-cared for and healthy. Great selection of garden decor and arbors, decorative stakes, shade cloth, fencing, etc. Labeling is clear and detailed on trees, which is always very helpful.

Very helpful staff. Found a beautiful winter-blooming, white, sasanqua setsugekka camellia, here. Unassuming location - directly off picturesque Highway 99. Definitely worth the stop.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. Plants are clean and beautifully arranged. Seeds are from recognizable organizations. (Not repacked from expired seed) Reorganization for customer benefit is in progress. Prices are reasonable. I loved just looking around and was encouraged to do so! A range of gift items are available as well as tools, potting soil, and some landscaping materials. When I returned after the first visit, the person who had served me before remembered what I had been looking for and told me that they had gotten it in. Email list for special pricing notification is available.
