Nick with Tru Green has serviced our lawn and is very personable, friendly and professional. He addresses any concerns I may have regarding our lawn and makes recommendations as a preventative. He contacts me ahead of time to know to expect him with an estimated time of arrival for pet or gate preparedness. I am very pleased with the service Nick and Tru Green have provided.
I have had weeds for over a year now that I have had to point out to my tech that he is not getting rid of. To be honest, I shouldn’t have to pint them out every time he comes, he should see what needs to be taken care of and proactively spray weeds that are clearly seen. It is frustrating to spend this kind of money me not have them take care of weeds and have the weeds actually die but instead it never looks like they are sprayed at all because they don’t even wilt or show signs of anything being sprayed on them.
Been using TruGreen for many years. They have saved me the mental and physical labor it takes to keep up with weed control and fertilizing. Years ago, I had a yard fungus that I spinned my wheels trying to treat myself. I spent a small fortune and didn't fix it!. They are consistent and reliable. Plus, all my yard techs have been knowledgeable and friendly.
Update several months later using Tru Green: Lawn looks so good. We get asked how we get it so green. The service basically paid for itself. Before we were running the sprinkler system several times a day over last summer costing a huge water bill. This summer, we have barely had to run it because of Tru Green, it all evened out and the yard is healthy. First year using TruGreen and our lawn looks good. Brown patches gone, yard looks healthy. Best it has looked since we built and tried doing it ourselves. Always came out for each treatment and did a thorough job. I think our landscaping plants got the benefit as well because they look better.
Definitely doing a great job and appreciate closing up when he’s finished working. My Angel loves hanging out as the yard is looking better.
Nick texted to let me know when he’d be here to do an inspection. He was on time, pleasant and respectful. He did a thorough inspection, clearly explained the results and made a few recommendations. Very professional!

I contacted TurGreen when I was having a fongus problem that was killing a large part of my yard. They diagnosed the problem and treated for it. They have continued to care for my lawn and doing a good job and communicating what I need to do. Update: Nick did a good job.

TruGreen is a great company! The technicians are knowledgeable, responsive and professional. My yard took serious damage in the winter storm last year but with their help it is repairing nicely. I especially appreciate that they do not push for services the client does not need so you can trust their recommendations. Their mosquito service is worth every penny. We had a terrible problem last summer and with TruGreen extermination process we have had ZERO mosquitoes this summer! Highly recommend TruGreen for all your lawn care needs!

Aeric came by and completed my lawn application yesterday. Application was iron based with cinch bug preventative and broadleaf control. Visually using my Google Nest cameras I was able to partially see him go through my lawn and spray. My house is a new build at the coast that was completed at the end of 2022. Dollar weed on my lot was so established that the weed actually started flowering with a height in some cases of 1 to 2 . I didn t know this weed could do that. Started my services with TruGreen in 2024 and this being my 4th lawn application so far - my lawn has steadily and consistently improved into a very robust and healthy lawn. More importantly my dollar weed dilemma has been eliminated! It also helps that I had Raleigh St. Augustine sod laid. It s very proficient at choking weeds , because of its dense growth networking tendencies.
We had ChemLawn for a very long time when we lived in the east coast and were extremely happy with the work they did. We had the best looking lawn. We retired and moved to the South and ChemLawn was not available here. ChemLawn became TruGreen and as soon as it came to my city we hired them for our weed control. Being in the South there are a lot of different weeds or fungus that we have come across my yard. It has been a little challenging but I depend on TruGreen to handle it and they do. Also, if I have any questions I ask and they are quick with a response.

I think my lawn has looked the best it s ever looked in the last 15 years! Beyond how good the grass looks I SO appreciate Aric taking the time to give me a heads up with his arrival time window so I can get my dog in the house and let him do his work! In the past I have actually discontinued grass service because the tech left my gate open and both of my dogs ran away. That s never happened with Aric. Keep up the good work let s keep things growing!

The young man that came out to spray our yard was very sweet. But we are so upset hundreds of dollars later and trugreen did nothing for us. Our yard looks as awful as ever.

I would not recommend unless your grass is totally free of weeds already. I started the service to help rid my yard of weeds and one year later, the weeds are just as bad as they were a year and over $600 ago. Save your money. They were however very polite and always showed up when they said they would so there s that.
Wish we could afford your services year around so many bugs fleas!!! Plus the heat destroyed our newly laid sod! If we can both get back to work will take the cost out of my paycheck!

They do a good job spraying and giving the areas of my yard equal coverage. I ve had lawn fungus that causes brown patch for 2 years in a row and they spray fungicide and it goes away. I just need lawn aeration in the spring and to keep an eye on backyard for signs of brown patch in the early fall when the weather starts cooling. The black land clay soil here in southside Corpus Christi can get waterlogged easily and with rains usually starting in September, it s just a breeding ground for fungus. If you have a decent sized yard in Corpus, say 1/4 acre or more, and you want it to look great, aside from watering and mowing you need Trugreen for regular fertilization, grub control and fungicides.

If you care about your lawn you definitely need to utilize TruGreen. Excellent technicians. Our yard is really doing well after one treatment.
Provide fertilizer and treatments all year around. Been with them 6 years. Always notify you and have our gate code. Very happy.
The service technician, Brandon Dane, is very knowledgeable and friendly. He gets top marks from me.
We hired them to just get the grass thicker and greener. We had no weeds and our grass was not yellow at all. After using them we got weeds and the grass turned very yellow in places, neither of which we had before. We repeatedly called in the issues and they would send someone out, and charge us more for services that never fixed the problem, that they said would fix the problems. Scam! They told us they guaranteed the work and they actually do not. We gave them several months to fix the problems but they couldn t do it and yet they are still charging us for services that didn t work. We ve canceled our service with them and DO NOT RECOMMEND. Management is extremely non cooperative.
