They have been consistent and dependable. I can always rely on them showing up at their designated time to clean, mow and service my yard. They fertilize in the fall and trim back my bushes and plants when needed. The communication is very good as well and my yard looks nice. I am very pleased with the work done.

In just a few days, his team installed a retaining wall in the back, laid a paver patio near the front door, and revitalized several landscape beds with new plantings, river rock, and edging stones. They kept us well informed throughout the process from quote to the finished product, our quote was a detailed description of the work to be done. We had a drain ditch repaired by this company. They workers arrived on time, were polite and informative and did a great job. Our driveway was cleaner when they left then when they arrived. The ditch is doing its job now so the water issue we had has abated. Hoping to get them back for another project soon.

We have used Preferred Landscape for many large and small jobs for over 10 years. They have installed several paver walkways, a paver patio and French drains that addressed significant water issues around our house. They also installed a sprinkler system with a zone for grass and one for a drip line. We have used PLS for a few different landscaping and outdoor projects over the years. Most recently, they completely replaced our driveway and front entry path. It was a fairly lengthy process with a lot of moving parts, which Dave explained to us initially. The driveway turned out great and we were very pleased with the work PLS did. Dave is very responsive to questions and concerns and takes the time to explain what is being done throughout the process. I will continue to call on them for other yard/outdoor projects in the future.

We have never had an irrigation system previously until we bought this home. I could tell the system was older and a mishmash of heads and zones. Having zero knowledge of irrigation systems, I took one company s offer for a free inspection. Of course they gave me a quote and it was 4 figures. So I called Preferred. Based solely on our request, Preferred sent Jose who started fixing everything immediately. Super friendly and efficient. And the price was quite reasonable for doing everything I asked to be done! I worked with Preferred Landscaping on a very large cleanup project where they had to remove many overgrown bushes, including blackberry, remove three trees and stump grind them, break-up and remove concrete, and mow and clean up a very large lot. They got everything done in under two days. Geronimo and his team were excellent to work with, prompt, and professional!!! I would definitely work with them again.

We had an appointment this morning with Geronimo to go over concerns with our lawn. He was very knowledgeable and went over several options with us. Some were things he could do and many were things we can do for ourselves. After taking his time we decided to try the things we can do for the time being. When I offered to compensate him for his time he smiled and said he was happy to do it. When we have a bigger project we will absolutely call him. If your looking for a good job at a fair price he is you man.

The property looks good, however, I find that some days items are missed. Our property is extremely quick and easy to maintain so bushes should be manicured at each session.

We had some concrete and synthetic lawn installed in our backyard. Dave and his crew have been so wonderful to work with throughout our landscaping project. Dave made some suggestions that actually saved us money, and during the project, when we had some changes we wanted, Dave completely worked with us on costs and ideas. Their prices are reasonable compared to other quotes we got, and the team always respected us and our property. They did an amazing job on my yard. I had them remove old grass and install new sod. I also had them remove the large amount of weeds I had. The team was on time and completed the work within the 2 days that I was told it would take. The price was also very affordable.

I had preferred landscaping put in for sprinklers in my side yard because we were having a water with hoses and it took too long and we couldn t keep up with it and it would burn up in the sun. Excellent company! They were quick to respond to our request about our project and quick to get it started. They fully explained everything. The work was done well and cleanly. Definitely recommend the company.

Dave was quick to respond to my email schedule a visit to come look at my yard. I explained to him that due to the size of my yard Id probably need to do my projects in phases, and he gave me some good input into the order that things should happen. He followed up with a proposal that night, with each area separated so that I could see the price in phases. His guys came out a couple weeks later to install a fence. They were courteous and hardworking, but what I really loved is how they would hold each board up, and then flip it to see which side looked and fit better. They did a great job, and I also liked that they were here at nine, took a lunch break, and left by 3:30 to be back to the office by 5 each day. Since I already knew what I was paying, I wasnt worried about them racking up an hourly wage or anything, and to me this showed that the company cares that their workers get to have a life and theyre not just rushed through each job, slapping up boards as fast as they can go. The results speak for themselves! I love my new fence! I cant wait for the other projects Ive sign them up for.

They do a really good job. You might find the price to be a little more than others, but you get what you pay for. Theyve been very consistent and respond to concerns quickly via text or email. I left them once to save dollar and realized that wasnt worth the drop in service, so Im back and dont see that changing unless I decide to things myself (which doesnt sound fun). Lol

I knew they were going to do a lot of work that my yard desperately needed but I wasnt prepared for just how transformative their work would be. I never knew my yard could look that great. They really put in a large amount of detailed work to give me something far exceeding my expectations at a very fair price.

We switched to Preferred and like the start. There were a lot of maintenance issues our last landscapers deferred on, but Preferred took care of them right away. We had moss, winter die out, shrub trimming, etc, that Preferred took care of right away. Our guy is very friendly and considerate, turning off mower/blower if there is a walker on the sidewalk. Highly recommend these guys.

Our HOA has been using Preferred landscaping for several years now. When I took over as chairperson I looked around and got estimates from other landscaping companies just to make sure we were getting the best price and none could beat Preferred. They have always done a great job.

I had a full backyard landscape completed with a paver area and living at the bottom of a hill a water dispersal problem such that rain water pooled and waterfalled into my crawl space vents David Jensen and team installed a system that was different than any of the other two bids. Also he did the work at a substantially lower quote and did not upcharge during the job with unseen issue repair In fact, when the seed was placed we received surprise unforecasted days of washout rain. Dave came out and reseeded the area to insure good solid coverage. I would tell anyone to give Preferred Landscaping a call for their needs

Preferred Landscape has done our weekly maintenance for a few years now and they have been great. They take the time to walk around and make sure all areas are clean, weed free, etc. Recently I needed a trench dug for another project. They came out and said it might take a couple of days and they bid for that. It took them less time than they thought it might and they charged accordingly for it. I was impressed by their efficiency and quality of the work once again. I recommend them for your landscape needs!

Preferred Landscape Services did a great job replacing a 100 ft 3 ft high wooden retaining wall and 24 ft privacy fence. The crew was very professional and easy to work with. We are very happy with the finished product. We have used them in the past and will again in the future.

In 2021 I had my dirt pile of a backyard redone to a beautiful, useful, low maintenance yard by Preferred Landscape Services. I had SynLawn, pavers, plants and rock installed. Dave came out to give me a quote and adjusted to fit my budget. His team that did my backyard was great and It turned out amazing! I finally enjoy the warm summer nights in the backyard. This week, I took advantage of the SynLawn upkeep package that Preferred is offering and my backyard looks brand new again! It has all kept really well, but getting the lawn blown out and brushed brought it back to life. I d 100% recommend Preferred Landscape Services. Preferred Landscape has been a great company to work with over the past couple of years. The staff has always been pleasant and done a great job on the yard! Their prices are inline with others in the area. They are always here on the day they said like clock work. My wife gets to spend her time planting instead of yard work.

I contact this company back in late August or early September to do backyard clean up. They have poor customer service, they never show up for schedule appointment, never called me, or never call to say why there was no show. If you hired this company for work be beware of no show service

I have been looking around for landscaping services this year. We had bad experiences in the past where the other services we used were not consistent in keeping their schedule. I requested a quote last week from Preferred Landscape. I was contacted the day after by Geronimo to arrange an appointment. He showed up at the agreed upon time and even a bit earlier then I had expected. So far my impression is very favorable of this company and their employees. I was told I would have the quote later that day and I did receive it as promised. I am a retired Vet and I appreciate professionalism. I am going to give them my business based off my first impression.

Initial experience was very good. However, I was told they would have our estimate for services within a week. Nothing came through so we had to follow-up. Finally received a response after a week and a half that they were not able to accommodate us. Not the best service.

Jacob W. was the estimator and project manager for my backyard renovation. He did an outstanding job keeping me informed of start and finish dates and made some excellent suggestions for the work. Roberto and his partner showed up on time every day and did exactly what I wanted. They left my property neat and tidy each evening. The yard looks wonderful and we are enjoying it so much more now that the work is complete. And, they made payment super easy. Thanks to the entire team.

High quality work overall. A few communication issues that resulted in confusion, but ultimately they worked to make things right. The crew was very friendly and careful, and did a fantastic job with a yard cleanup. I got the sense that issues I ran into with my job are not something that would expected on a regular basis, just came down to timing with owners being out of town and other factors. I would happily recommend their services to anyone looking, and gladly hire them again!

Front the initial bid, to the final finish, the entire process was amazing. Dave was awesome at communicating all the steps and procedures. The crew was hard working, respectful, clean, and precise with the job description we agreed on. My wife and I are so happy with the final outcome of the project. It s hard to envision at the time of the estimate exactly how things will come to fruition. But They absolutely left no doubt we chose the right company for our project.

We have had Dave & his diligent crew help us multiple times with landscape design & yard maintenance. They have created stairs, put in water sources, sprinkler system repair, planted, fall & spring clean-up, & our favorite landscape lighting. Preferred did a backyard overhaul in Dec17 including new shrubs, garden boxes, gravel pathways, new sod with better drainage and pavers topped off with a updated sprinkler system and drip lines. In May18, they turned on the sprinkler system and fixed a few leaks within 1-2 days of calling. When I turned on the sprinkler system last weekend (Apr19), one valve was leaking. Dave honored his work and replaced the manifold valve within 1 week of my text to him. I couldnt be happier with the work, and recommend Preferred for their outstanding customer service.

Called Preferred Landscaping for removal of wall of Arbor Vitae planted by previous homeowners. Trees were removed in first day, opening up a great view! The next two days, Preferred came back and ground out the stumps to allow the new landscape and fence to go in. Quick, all foliage was removed, stumps were removed, quickly and with minimal disruption. I cant wait to see the landscaping go in!

That said, working with Aaron and his company was actually one of the best experiences we have ever had with any type of paid for service. They went above and beyond in their efforts and even handled an unexpected additional expense at no charge due to our initial conversation on goals and expectations. We have worked with Preferred Landscape for the last five years. In that time, they have redone the entire backyard (including stream bed and water feature), put in a new irrigation system, laid a small stone patio for the barbeque pit, and in May, 2015, puppy-proofed the backyard, sinking pressure-treated 2 X 12 down about 6-8 inches around the entire perimeter of the fence, removing and installing new fence posts where needed, and building new gates. I know the Aaron, Steve, and David--as well as the men in their crews--quite well at this point. I find them all to be friendly, funny, and professional. Their prices for weekly maintenance are quite competitive. Their bids for all of the other work are at the upper-end of middle, yet still competitive. In other words, Preferreds bids are hardly the most expensive bids I have been given over the years; however, and I really mean this, you do get what you pay for. I recommend them without hesitation.

We signed up to regular yard maintenance with Preferred Landscape Services last summer and have been extremely happy with them. They not only perform regular yard maintenance every month, but also they replaced a rotted raised garden with a beautiful rock garden including some great shade loving plants. They planted several Arborvitae along our fence and have done tons of drainage and work on our sprinkler system... Problems we have had for a long time. This is the first year we have not had bare spots in our lawn. Every aspect of what they have done for us has been top notch and fairly priced. Our neighbors recommended them and I know they are also quite happy. I would highly recommend Preferred to someone who wants excellent, consistent service with a smile!
