We have over an acre lot with lots of trees and needed leaf removal completed. Herndon Brothers responded promptly, gave us our quote and were out in a couple of days. All leaf removal companies should do the same job - remove leaves. Herndon Brothers got all the leaves removed including an area with pine tree needles and then sent the leaf monster truck to get them all sucked up - and there were a lot. I say they did an “over and above “ job simply by getting our pine needles and leaves taken care of. As a real estate agent, I will definitely add them to my preferred business partners list for my clients.
Herndon Brothers is awesome. Contacted them about leaf removal - which were 3 feet deep in our back yard. They were on time and on budget. And our yard looks fabulous. Conley is great!

I couldn’t be happier at the outstanding job Herndon Brothers Lawncare did replacing a 2x failed retaining wall done by a local landscape company who obviously didn’t know what they were doing. Conley is very professional, knowledgeable and such a pleasure to work with. He used Versa-lok blocks and geomesh to keep this wall intact for years and years to come. No doubt Conley knows what he’s doing. We were blown away by the transformation to this beautiful functional retaining wall from what we had. Every detail was addressed. They added sod to keep the dirt from eroding and rebuilt 8ft of our privacy fence at our request and left everything clean and neat. I wouldn’t hesitate employing Conley and his crew for any future landscape needs.
From an employee perspective I may be a little biased but, Conley is a very professional sincere owner and boss. He will stop at nothing to make sure all of our customers are treated with respect and fairness as well as making sure we deliver top quality work. Conley and his team did a fantastic job installing drains to fix a huge drainage problem at the home we moved into. Fair quote, quick response, and excellent execution. Will be using them for every landscape project moving forward.
I honestly can’t believe Conley and his crew completely finished our 70’ retaining wall in one day! They were here until after dark to make sure everything was cleaned up and perfect before they left. Conley is so friendly and professional, and his prices were the best! I would give 10 stars if I could.
Great experience with Herndon Brothers. Had them out to remove some shrubs so we could start with a fresh palette, and had them remove old curb-a-garden flower bed edging, and install brick in its place. New mulch, some dwarf boxwoods, and cryptomeria and removed a tree that was blocking a walkway. They also planted two dwarf Japanese maples, a weeping cherry tree, and other plants in the area behind my pool. Crew did all the work in two days, and cleaned up the job site. Will definitely be using them again for future projects, and will probably have them start doing all my lawncare and maintenance as well.
They came the same day, did everything I ask them to do. Very polite.

I had a very unfortunate experience with some Arborvitae trees. I needed someone to replace several dead trees and transplant the ones that had survived. Conley came out the very next day and gave me a fair quote. Scheduled the work in a timely manner, team showed up for the appointment right on time, and they hit it out of the park!!! They finished the whole job in a day, did a beautiful job and cleaned up so well afterwards that I could barely tell they d been there! I could not be happier with the results and the team!!! 10/10!!!

Within 48 hours of our initial contact we were given a quote, the work was scheduled and every single leaf in our yard and gutters magically disappeared. All of the work was completed for a very reasonable price. The team was efficient, friendly, paid attention to detail and hard working. We will definitely use them again.
The Leaf Monster did a great job for my front yard. Saved me HOURS of hard work. No bagging, no dumping, just blow/rake everything to the curb and then call Herndon Brothers and their Leaf Monster.

Hired this company to sign our entire backyard late fall of 2021. So I was dormant at the time. This spring some sections failed to come up. Contacted Conley and he came to inspect. He agreed that some sod needed to be replaced. He contacted the sod company and took the issue up with them himself. Then he arranged to come and replace the bad pieces of sod. We are totally satisfied with the work done and appreciate Conley s concern to please his customers. We would definitely consider using them to sign our front yard if we decide to go to Palisades Zoysia!
I worked with Herndon Brothers for sod installation after a contract with another company fell through. They were professional, helpful, quick response times, and fit me into their already busy schedule. The lawn came out looking better than expected.
Update: Conley (owner) contacted me directly and rectified the issues applying a new round of mulch and ridding the flower bed of weeds with no additional charge. Happy with the follow up and work performed. Quoted for a front flower bed clean out, weed prevention, and mulching for $600 on 3/5/22. The flower bed is roughly 20 feet long. Work was finally completed on 4/12. Very pool quality work overall. A dusting of mulch was applied. Easy to tell as I have previously laid brown mulch and we received red mulch. You can clearly see more of the brown mulch through the red. The worst part is the lack of weed prevention applied. I typically have done this week and a simple application of Preen has prevented weeds previously when doing it myself. We have weeds sprouting throughout the garden so questioning if any weed prevention was even put down. I voiced this issues when receiving calls about payment. Instead of addressing those concerns and rectifying the quality of work, they hounded for payment. I paid the $600 and still have yet to receive a follow up service on the issues mentioned. Don t waste your time. Either do it yourself or look elsewhere.

We hired them to perform landscape and irrigation system work. Paid them $8000 in good faith to come back and complete the job and they stopped responding. We were intending to use them for future maintenance services and referred them to several neighbors. They did not adhere to their mission statement. Very disappointing

We called Herndon Brothers Lawn Care to clean up and mulch our front beds, as well as sod the entire back yard. They were very responsive and came out the next day to give us an estimate. There ended up being about a 3 week delay on the job due to sod shortage in the city. During that entire time though we were kept up to date and informed on the status. When the crew came out to do the work they were all in uniform, extremely professional, and FAST! They completed the job in just under 2 hours. Their work looks EXTREMELY nice and really adds to the appeal of our home. My husband and I would recommend Herndon Brothers Lawn Care anytime!!

If You Are Still Not Satisfied, You Owe Us Nothing! - Conley Herndon This statement is not true. They do not / did not guarantee their work. I have several pictures of the aftermath. If there is a way to upload these, I will as they say a picture is worth a thousand words (if I can t upload here...see my post on their Facebook page). They pieced milled by cutting the sod in strips and didn t prep the ground so this left the yard uneven with bare patches and gullies. We contacted them regarding our dissatisfaction as well as to make them aware they had broken the gate. They came out the first time to review the issues. When nothing was done, we contacted them again and received no response.

Been waiting on these guys to mow for over two weeks now - wont even return my calls and their office voicemail is full so they arent even checking messages. This comes across as extremely unprofessional and lazy. Find someone else to mow - these guys are not worth the hassle.
