I am a new customer this year for lawn services; hoping to receive snow removal services if they are able open up service to my area of North Liberty. Curtis is always responsive to any questions or requests. The mowing crew has done a very good job keeping up this spring given all the rains and wet conditions. It is nice to have fertilization and mowing services coordinated within the same company. The office staff is polite, cheerful and helpful. I am pleased with Turf Master!
We have used Turf Masters of Coralville for 4 years. Service has been excellent. They are here when they say they will be here. Their grass, trimming, snow removal has been timely and superb. Staff are very friendly and cooperative. This is a senior retirement cooperation with a lot of personalities which could have made their job difficult but they have been able to please all of us.
Unexpected event on 3/22. They are my CONTRACTED snow removal company. Finally had to call them and let them know that my customers were getting stuck at 10:30. "Sure thing. I have someone on your side of town. They'll be right over!" They showed up at 1:30 and didn't understand why we no longer needed their assistance since everything had melted by then. So glad I'm no longer going to be using them. One star because I can't give zero.
Turf Masters was contracted to remove snow from my employer's parking lot within two hours from the start of a 2" or greater snow event. It has been 40 hours since the start of the snow event (12"+) and Turf Masters still hasn't cleared our parking lot. We had to use tow straps just to get customers/employees out of our lot it was so bad. Had the same issues with Turf Masters last year, but this was the final straw and the contract has now been cancelled. Hired a new snow removal contractor and they were on-site within two hours of establishing the new contract.
Turf Masters put a paver border around our garden and a paver landing at the bottom of our stairs. Also, had some dirt work and reseeding in our front yard to clean up previous concrete and landscaping. Since Turf Masters is expanding their services to Cedar Rapids, they will now maintain our yard by weed and bug applications, aeration’s and fall over-seeding. Finally, we received an excellently priced quote for an irrigation system. I recommend Turf Masters and believe they are a top tier lawn care and landscape company. Very knowledgeable and professional. Great Quality.
I called Turf Masters about a week ago when my sod was looking yellow. Sagar Patel came over that night and installed above ground irrigation and my yard is coming back great!! Thanks, Turf Masters!!
These guys do great work! My lawn was getting out of control and I could not manage it on my own with my busy work schedule. Turf Masters gave me a fair rate to mow my lawn. They also noticed one of my sprinkler heads was broken. They fixed my sprinkler head and saved me a ton on my water bill!
Disrespectful sloppy employees. Zero concern for the properties they mow. No trimming. Cigarettes everywhere. Avoid at all costs

I had left a message over a week ago to get a quote for my yard. I called today and press button for new customer. They hung up on me when I said I left a message a week ago. Guess they dont need new customer so I not wasting anymore of my time with this joke of a company !!

Sager came down to help us with an issue at the Washington High School Softball Field. We were having issues with the irrigation system. He spotted the problem quickly after examing it. After the weather warmed up they came back and tested everything out and made a few adjustments. I would highly recommend them for irrigation system service and maintenance.
Sagar and his team do an excellent job every year when it s time to service our irrigation system. Very friendly, good communication, and prompt service!
I didnt end up going with the company for my project, but Sagar was extremely helpful during the process of getting things set up.
Sager came last spring did our repairs was fantastic as things were in pretty bad shape. Couldnt of been happier with the end result. He then came to do our start up this year to check and make sure everything was operating as it should. Had some small issues that he took care of and took him little to no time to repair. I would not only recommend, but not sure I would call anyone else for irrigation help. Thank you Sager and Turfmasters!!!!!

We have been in our home for 5 years and have worked with a few companies to try and remedy our weed issues as well as get our irrigation system up and running. Not until this year, when we contacted Turf Masters and had Sagar Patel come do an assessment have we actually seen improvements. Sagar is knowledgeable, professional and efficient and it has been an overall fantastic interaction with Turf Masters. Highly recommend.

Worst business I have ever come across! The owner Josh thinks he is Gods gift to women. News flash... you are not! I called for lawn care and nothing else. You cant even get the lawn care right. If I could give zero stars I would stay far away from the place. They do shady business.

They did a great job and my lawn looks great Update 8/12/21 They do a great job on my lawn and today did landscaping, put in a temporary irrigation system and fixed brown patches. Wouldn t recommend them to anyone! Talked to Chris about doing all our landscaping from the ground up, he came out one day took a look and didn t hear from him for a month until I reached out asking what the status was. He told me he was busy and would stop out in the next few days and take the measurement he needed, 2 weeks later still haven t seen or heard from him. 3 other companies who are also busy catching up on projects from last year came out and I had quotes and designs in 2.5 weeks. I have close friends that use these guys for commercial snow and lawn care that are looking to go in a different direction after hearing of my experience, just brutal!

Weve used Turf Masters for our mow & trim and lawn care needs for a year now, and have been very happy with their service. The owners are friendly and the turf crew guys are dependable. They do great work!
These guys are great. Whenever it snows, they clear the parking lot and the sidewalks early - usually in time for my 5:15 am Jazzercise class.
When I discovered I had a grub problem I called Turfmasters and they handeled it immediately... now my lawn is green and healthy. BTW grubs are not easy to mitigate, but they did it. They are knowledgeable and have the equipment and people to get the job done.
I have used Turf Masters for about two years now, and Ive always been pleased with their work! My lawn includes a garden with curved limestone edging, and I have a few peonies in the middle of the lawn that I worry about with the weedwacker. Theyve always been very careful; Id recommend Turf Masters to anyone with gardens they want to protect. Another plus- the staff is always really friendly!
Excellent service and very dependable.
I ordered several hundred dollars worth of sod from this company last August. I had several days of vacation time to lay it. I called twice to confirm delivery. They never showed up or returned my phone calls. Now Ill have to wait until next spring. In my experience, they are not trustworthy. Find another source.

I started using Turf Masters for snow removal the winter of 2015 and lawn care services in the spring of 2016 for 2 commercial properties. I have been very happy with the services they have provided at both locations. Their snow and ice management has been prompt and thorough. Turf Masters have provided quality lawn care services, too. The lawns have been weed free and well manicured. Turf Masters employees have been courteous and accommodating with their vehicles to make sure customers are able to access the business without being inconvenienced. I would highly recommend Turf Masters to both residential and commercial customers.

The Turf Masters team is great. I found them to be very responsive -- either by phone or email. They do a great job with our lawn and in the winter they handle snow removal. Great Service, Dependable, Excellent communication. We had them lay sod in our backyard and gravel around our pool and pool deck.
