I would highly recommended Uncommon Grounds for any landscape service. They always perform a great service and are always very polite and professional. They do great work for an affordable price! The techs there are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Really went above and beyond to communicate with me and make sure I was pleased with their services. I paid these guys to take care of my lawn. I paid them to spray kill and reseed my entire lawn in the fall of 2017. The grass came in and I was very pleased with the results . The following spring the yard looked fantastic, however, they don't know how to maintain a lawn. They came to my home in April, 2018, saying they were going to fertilize the lawn and treatt with a weed killer. They didn't show up until mid May. They fertilized, but did not treatt the lawn with the weed killer. Weeds and Johnson grass started emerging in the lawn, because they didn't treat the lawn with a preemergent weed killer like they said they would. Then the rain started. The lawn started dying in areas from ring spot. I had to call for treatment. They treated a few areas of my lawn, but did not follow up with the weed killer or the fertilizer that month. I called numerous times during the month of June asking for repeated bacterial treatments and weed killing . Even indicating to them that I would pay whatever it takes to keep the nice lawn they seeded last fall. No one showed up. Then the service man showed up to fertilize in July, I repeated to him about the weed killing and the ring spot. He said he would come back later in the week to treat my lawn with a weed killer and would let the office know that I needed another treatment for the ring spot. By now my lawn was suffering from dead spots from the bacteria and Johnson grass and other weeds were in numerous areas and spreading. No one showed up later in the week. At the beginning of the week, I called and asked where they were? They started giving me some excuses about why they didn't show up... But never told me when they were going to. I figured I shouldn't have to keep calling them for service, so I fired them. I didn't pay the last bill they gave me because they didn't provide the service they started on the bill. Now I am considering suing them in small claims court, to get my money back or have the judge make them come back and reseed my yard. Don't use their services. They claim to be professionals. They really don't know what they're doing. They might have the equipment, but they don't have the knowledge or the experience to keep a lawn looking nice.
