I am 70 years old and been around the block a few times and have learned the hard way about trusting companies. My lawn was in poor condition a year ago and at first I was hesitant to use TLC. After speaking with Caleb, I decided to give it a go, as I could stop his service anytime, he told me. I am really glad I decided to use TLC. My yard is beautiful and many of my neighbors have commented about it. Our neighborhood lawn people do a very poor job, as their fee is rolled into our HOA monthly fee. My yard is now lush, thick and green. It is a beautiful sight to see, especially right after being mowed and edged.. it is gorgeous!! I highly recommend that you give Caleb a try. He is a small business man and the only way for him to compete and stay in business, is to be better than the big corporate companies. He has succeeded in doing that, and at a reasonable price!!! he charges less than most of the corporate advertised lawn services. FYI... I am not being paid or given any type of discount or renumeration, whatsoever, for this review. My integrity can not be bought. I give TLC 5 *****s!! Very pleased with their results this year!!
Caleb is the absolute best! We received newly planted sod in March that was full of weeds and was in dire condition with bare spots and fungus. Usually, we can handle this ourselves, but this challenge proved too difficult to tackle alone. Only a few months later Caleb has helped to transform our lawn. It is healthy and flourishing! We just entered into a handshake contract with the owner of this small company. I watched as he fertilized, put insecticides and herbicides on our St Augustine grass, currently infected with all types of weeds and bad grass. He will prevent future seedlings from sprouting and prepare for a much better lawn next year and somewhat better this year. I have confidence in his approach and technique. I observed him earlier working on a local lawn and liked what he had to say and what he was doing and sked him to come and give us a quote. He has a reasonable price and I encourage others to take this approach to making our lawns looks better.
Absolutely positive experience! Caleb provided quotes for lawn and flower bed services. He walked the property with me and addressed all my concerns. One of the best decisions I made was bringing on TLC when I first moved into my home. It is a corner lot with a larger front and back yard so wanted to make sure it stayed weed free. Pictures below are of two yards with dormant grass in the winter (and where weeds stand out even more). The first picture is my neighbors yard and the second one is mine. Not a weed in sight! Caleb is amazing and wonderful customer service. Highly recommend.
Our yard turned “horrible” last year… and after much research.. we decided to hire Caleb and TLC Specialty Weed Control! We wanted to stick with local business rather than the “big box” stores! Especially since we have seen “those” people coming and spraying during heavy rains, or just “sort of” spraying other neighbor yards! So glad we called TLC! Oh my! What a difference! Our yard is beautiful now! We had so many funky weeds that had shown up… as well as a few spots that were looking puny… now our grass is green and weed free! We are so glad we found Caleb! Thank you so much! If you are on the fence.. take that leap of faith! He does a great job and really listens to your needs and really cares! And this is close to “dormant grass” in the picture due to season and it still looks great!
THE ONLY LAWN CARE EXPERTS I WILL EVER TRUST. EVER. Caleb is AMAZING and helping out a local business was my number one priority but more than that, they did an incredible job! My lawn was infested with weeds and wouldn't grow in the fertile crescent, but along comes Caleb and he saved my lawn! I will never go to anyone else, he absolutely has a life time client. 10 outta 10, 5 stars, if there was a Michelin rating for lawn services, he would get one from me!

Our lawn looks great and almost no weeds. They come early enough that nothing affects our dog. We even had a salesman from a large, well-known competitor stop by and commented that we had the best yard around.

We are very pleased with TLC service. Another company was doing our weed control and the weeds were taking over. TLC took over and our lawn is starting to look beautiful again. I ve been using Caleb for two years, he s a hardworking family man focused on customer service and always makes himself available via phone or text to address any concerns outside of his normal service. If you re looking for lawn care, I can t think of anyone I d recommend before him. The healthiest my yard has been in years. Additionally, last summer I had 12 houses on my street get wiped out by fungus and sod worm, my yard remained vibrant and green throughout with no issues. I moved from Tru-Green to TLC last year. After paying the former for several years with mediocre results and constant babysitting -- it was time to move on. My initial conversation with TLC centered around what I needed to do to make my grass the best looking on the block. We worked together on a plan in which 99% of the responsibility was TLC and the 1% I had to do (watering). This year, my grass is the best on the block by far! It is such a relief to deal with an owner who is active in the business as you get with TLC.
TLC specialty has been nothing but fantastic and I am extremely happy with their service and product. My grass endured the deathly heated drought this summer and it had everyone in the neighborhood thinking that my home builder purchased special grass for our yard. Caleb has done an excellent job killing and controlling the weeds in my yard. Also our Bermuda grass looks great since he started treating our lawn in early 2021.

We had a bad problem with weeds overtaking they yard. Calebs plan not only killed the weeds but his treatments allowed the yard to become to healthiest it as been since we have lived at this house.
TLC saved my lawn. As an inexperienced new home owner in regards to lawn maintenance I ended up nearly killing all my grass with the little education on how to properly feed and maintain a lawn. My grass was burned from over feeding, I have an infestation of chinch bugs, and also weeds were thriving. Within a year with TLC my lawn my lawn is one of the best on the block and is thriving in this TX heat this summer. Only ingredient on my end is just add water. Overall the service is great, pricing is extremely fair, and the quality of work speaks for itself. TLC Specialty Weed Control treated the RV resort that I manage and did an amazing job.
