Bad customer service

Very detailed pest control. Sprayed inside and out, removed all spider webs and wasp nests. Even did a detailed inspection of attic and crawl space. Looks like it will be well worth the $.

I contacted Killingsworth about an obvious infestation of Crape Myrtle Bark Scale. I was quoted for a one time treatment for scale on one crape myrtle. However, the work ticket emailed to me after the treatment showed the technician treated with a fungicide (Propiconazole 14.3 - which is labeled only for treating powdery mildew on Crape Myrtle). I have called twice to understand why the tree was treated with a fungicide and not insecticide (Dinotefuran, Bifenthrin, etc). No one has returned my calls, nor has anyone Ive spoken to been able to offer any fix or adjustment. Called again today for a third/final attempt at getting this remedied or explained. ** UPDATE: I received a call directly from the technician, who took full responsibility for the mistake. They are intent on correcting the treatment by the end of the week. Thank you to Killingsworth for the follow-up. ** ** UPDATE 2: A technician showed up as planned and applied a ground soak treatment to treat the scale as originally quoted! Thank you to Killingsworth for the follow-up! **

They are the best!! They have took the initiative to come out on there own every 2 weeks to spray and put bait traps out, they filled in cracks and wholes in the foundation of my house, so far they have eliminated the ant problem, still working on the spiders and mice but I will definitely recommend them to everybody I know and every chance I get. Plus they are cheaper then others $$$

Predatory contract and the most unprofessional company Ive dealt with since purchasing my home. After months of poor service, results, and communication, I decided to cancel my service with them citing that they didnt hold up their end of the contract, which is supplying the service I paid for, even after being contacted about issues in between service appointments. I was told that Id have to pay off the remaining balance or continue my services with them. That didnt feel right but once I reread the contract I realized there was no out clause and I fell victim to my first contract issue as a new homeowner. I could deal with that fact, but talking to them further is when the shadiness and unprofessionalism came in. When I originally called to cancel, I was told I had to have a meeting with a supervisor that could process the cancellation which is fine but was then put into contact with a manager that told me he COULDNT process cancellations and that Id have to talk to ANOTHER manager. If I ask to cancel, why send me to someone who cant do that? When put into contact with the second manager I went to reread the contract, and while my significant other was on the phone with the apparent Customer Service Supervisor, she was berated, told that her calls dont matter since my name is whats on the contract even though I gave them explicit permission to talk to her both times, and proceeded to end the call by calling her an obscenity. I then received an email from her with the information I requested and stating the cancellation terms, and I havent gotten a response since. Ive since moved to Orkin and both the customer service and the actual service has been much better since. Killingsworth really puts the PEST in pest control.

Lenny was the gentleman from the Killingsworth Wildlife who came out and was able to get a squirrel out of the soffit at the house. He did an excellent job and has been out twice to check to be sure the squirrel was gone. The traps that he set allowed the squirrel to get out but not back in. He also checked the entire house for any entrances that a squirrel or other animal could get in and sealed them up. Lenny was easy to work with and always called and let us know when he was coming to the house. Outstanding technician.

The people and customer service are very nice and friendly. I called because I have a bad sugar ant problem and a mouse. Today is the third time someone is coming out to my house because we still have ants all over our sink and my husband saw the mouse this morning. I didnt think it would take a month and three visits to take care of pests...

We had our annual renewal today for pest and termite control. Brian Caudle was our service technician today and he was on time, polite, courteous and professional. Another great experience using Killingsworth!

The technician showed up before the agreed upon time. He identified any areas of concern (fire ants) and got straight to work. He treated the house from top to crawl space in a methodical and detailed manner. He made sure he covered everything before he left. He was a pleasure to talk with.

At first I thought this company seemed a little expensive. However they did extensive termite treatment to my house which hopefully is successful. They do give a warranty but it cost $200 a year keep extending it. They were friendly and professional and always showed up on time.

We were having an issue with wasps getting in the house and nesting in a specific area not easily seen. There was also an issue with squirrels chewing on the roof overhangs. Lenny was thorough, took his time to inspect the attic and other areas where there could be entry points. He showed me and made recommendations of what to do in both cases.

Killingsworth customer since my home was built in 2008. Customer care is beyond measure. Technicians consistently demonstrate dedication to ensure good service. Richard is one of the best service providers on my list. He explains characteristics of pests I encounter and provides recommendations to me when necessary. His work today included eliminating a fist-sized wasp nest that was 24 feet high. Will continue to recommend Killingsworth.

My family and I moved into a new rental in Mid April. I was totally freaked out when I discovered an abundance of wolf spiders in and around the house, as well as false widows and an array of other bugs. Were in the woods and near a farm so I shouldnt be too surprised but still, I dont want them in my house. I had my first treatment almost immediately and only saw a small difference. I called and requested a second treatment and was able to get scheduled for less than a week out. I had a different tech, Brian, come back about three weeks after the first guy and since then there has been a huge improvement. We saw only dead spiders for about a week after Brian came and then pretty much NONE since then. I actually stopped tiptoing and watching every step took as I walked through my home. Recently the spiders have started to return and Brian came back out and retreated. Hes always polite and courteous. He explains the process and what hes doing and we are completely pleased with his work.

So far, it s been a great experience. I ve been a customer for approximately 3 months. The initial treatment lasted for about 3 months and then I had to retreat, as expected with the heat and rain we ve experienced this summer. But no hassle when calling and a technician was booked for the very next day!

We had a specialist come to our home for treatment of earwigs. Killingsworth was not the first post control company we had used; however there treatment of our home was very comprehensive. I expected them to spray inside and outside the home, which they did very diligently. But they also sprayed the yard and treated areas where they found bugs nests.

We transferred the Termite & Pest Bond from our homes previous owners. Killingsworth was able to come out right away to apply their Annual Pest Control solutions. Trevor was very thorough, spraying the entire property, crawl space and even the covered deck. He was very willing when we asked him to go into the attic to check up on a past issue as well.

I ve been using Killingsworth for 8 years - they show up on time for appointments. Today Trevor Bissell came out - he did a termite inspection to keep the warranty up and he sprayed for bugs. Trevor did a great job. With our annual contract Killingsworth will return if we notice bugs and request that they come back. Killingsworth has been good to work with!

This was Carries first time to my residence and she did an excellent job servicing my yard. My frustration is with the management of my account and the various technicians that come to my residence. Lately, I have different technicians servicing my yard and they dont know what needs to be done. Today, I had no knowledge Killingsworth was coming to service my yard which I have dogs and they were outside. Fortunately, I was home and was able to put them up and walk the property with Carrie to explain what I needed. I am on a Monthly service and one month they didnt even show up and I had to call the office to get an explanation on what happened. I really did enjoy meeting Carrie and as I said she did an outstanding job but lately my frustration has been with the company, scheduling, various technicians not only with the mosquito spray but also with the servicing of my air conditioner. I have been a long standing customer and have used multiple services with them but lately I am questioning if they are becoming too big and losing that family service. Again, my technicians have always been good but there seems to be a disconnect with them and the main office so lately I have been disappointed. I called them at 12:45 and left a message to call me back to discuss these concerns (which I have done in the past) and I am still waiting for them to call me back, its now 2:00. Sincerely, Loraine

Greg was SO wonderful! He was coming for a tick and flea spray. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I wasnt quite ready to leave yet because a previous meeting ran long. We had a tech come out and get rid of some Wolfe spiders that had overtaken our shed. The guys was nice and did the entire outside and some inside as well. Little did we know that the spray had gotten all over our car and wouldn t come off with a car wash. The tech was unable to finish due to rain so we had expected him to come back within two weeks. Until my husband called about a bill we had received no one ever came back out to finish the initial work. It took over a month now they still won t call me back to settle the billing. Terrible customer service with this company!

Greg Drew and Roger came out this morning 9 am sharp! These gentlemen closed with and destroyed the enemy Palmetto Bug with some spray while they maneuvered around the battle field. They denied the enemy Palmetto Bugs the ability to operate freely in my house. After taking the fight to the Palmetto Bug they set up defenses to repel any counter attack. I know the day will come when the Palmetto Bug will launch a major offensive on my house. I know I can count on Greg and Drew to help keep the Palmetto Bug out and preserve my quality of life. The Killingsworth personnel arrived on time and setup effectively to treat for pests. They explained the process and went straight to work. Constant monitoring of the process took place and cleanup was performed to our satisfaction. Their personnel were courteous and professional. Several days later Killingsworth arrived to perform a post treatment inspection. After a thorough visual inspection of the residence, they brought in a trained canine and went through the entire house again. Solid performance by a professional team.

We really like Killingsworth. We ve been using their services for many years now - starting with insect control and we have now added furnace and ac maintenance for the past few years. They are always helpful, always knowledgeable, they aren t afraid to ask questions, and they are always very polite. Our particular technician, Brian H., is always a treat to have around. He always jokes with our kids and we really enjoy speaking with him and he never, ever makes us feel pressured to fix or purchase anything.
