We had Rudy out to do some landscaping for our backyard in Spring of 2024. I have waited a bit to leave a review to see how it has been holding up through the summer. I will update this review as the winter has passed also. Price: Rudy came across as honest when discussing price, and was on the lower end of the bids we collected. He is willing to work with you and your budget. Communication: Rudy is dominant Spanish speaking but comprehends English well. It did take some back and forth to get the message across accurately, but Rudy was very willing to adjust and do what was wanted from them. We had a couple of timing issues where he was expected to show and did not do so in time. He is a hard worker with a lot of projects going so this is understandable, but worth a note for those with less flexibility. With that said, as long as you have some flexibility in your schedule, he is more than willing to make up for lost time and is apologetic when not able to meet times set. His crew: Very hardworking crew that takes their job seriously and works at a good rate. They will adjust when needed and come across as very polite. They were only Spanish speaking which meant we had to go through Rudy for communication at times. Kept grounds clean while working. Quality: I have gone around to other projects also to gain some comparable grounds. Our project consisted of area of stamped concrete, rock surroundings, irrigation system with sod, concrete stairs and a little three hole putt putt. Stamped concrete: Thus far held up good and looks very nice. This job was done quickly and exactly as we wanted it to appear. No cracks or visible damage thus far. Stairs: Two steps coming off a concrete patio. They made it functional and as wanted. No cracks or visible damage yet. Sod and irrigation system: Good condition of grass throughout the spring and summer season. Pleased with amount and position of sprinkler heads. Putting green: Admittedly one of the first they had laid down ( they had done lots of artificial grass in the past). We were very clear on what we wanted to there was a bit of back and forth getting it done right. For absolute best quality I would go through companies that specialize in this. With that said, the grass has held up (may need stretching next spring), is practical and looks good. The prepping of the ground prior to laying down the turf also held a good standard. The area has been enjoyed, so if you do not need pro turf to work on your golf game for the next Majors, then this is a good option. Other: Due to some communication and timing errors (like the ones mentioned earlier), Rudy did provide us with some extra plants for the hassle. It was appreciated. Summary: Rudy and his crew will work hard to ensure that you get what you asked for. They started and completed the project in good time, and their work has held up quality wise thus far. I will update this review to see if anything needs adjusting after winter. I recommend Rudy for your landscaping needs.

I originally gave Rudy and his team two stars because he left all of their trash and piles of dirt all over the yard when he saw the review he sent someone else out to clean it all up and I changed the review because he obliged not even two months later we have a crack through our entire sidewalk step and patio. I have reached out multiple times and he tells me that he s gonna come tomorrow when asked what time he stopped responding please save yourself some time and money and find someone else that knows what they re doing

Its weird that they just rather text instead of do a consultation/free estimate. I tried seeing what they could do for me but i dont get how they would even price me out. Im sure if the conversation had continued they wouldve just given me a wild number or would have asked me to measure out the yard for them. No call back, no time to set up an appointment. I guess theyre doing really well to the point that they dont need just anyones business.

You truly could not ask for a better landscaping company. We called Rudy and he came to give us an estimate, he brought the designer, both of which were very deliberate in exactly what we wanted. We will be using them in the very near future.

Rudy and his team were able to build an extensive retaining wall in my back yard, backfill it, redo the sprinkler system, and resodded the area. They also built HOA compliant fences on both sides of the backyard to keep our puppies from wandering . All of this was completed in less than five days. The workmanship was excellent, and he left a very clean worksite. Highly recommend.

Rudy and his team did our Lanscaping and concrete for our home when we first moved in and his team knocked it out of the park for us. Once they moved onto our job they worked until it was completed to our satisfaction. We just recently had them install a beautiful flower bed in front of the house and it turned out better than we could have imagined. Rudy is a very personable guy and does what he says he going to do. If you are in need of any and all Lanscaping give Rudy a call, you wont regret it.

Rudy and every single employee that worked on our amazing walkway, patio, sprinkler system, and yard went above and beyond to make our vision come true! From the initial estimate to the next days start everyone worked with the upmost respect and detail to finish our project. My fiancé works for a leading foundation company along the front range area and had all the trust in the world that Rudy and his guys would get done exactly what we wanted. Rudy was always on time from the day one estimation, always answered our calls and questions, and had his guys start next day! We had four total estimates from other companies and just getting ahold of someone to get here was a pain, let alone when they would be able to start. My fiancé also knows pricing of materials being in the business and we strongly believe our total price was beyond fair. I recommend 1000% and will have them back to do other projects at our house.

We literally have a sign on our door that says we do not need landscaping or patio. The guy that dropped off the flyer literally read our sign and still left this. They do not know how to follow directions.

We hired Rudy to landscape our backyard. When I initially called Rudy he was polite and quickly set-up a time to discuss how we would like to landscape our backyard. He provided some great ideas that ended up looking great! Throughout the entire process Rudy and his team were professional and kind (even when the next door neighbors dogs would constantly bark and growl at them). His crew completed the project quickly and the workmanship is good. Rudy was responsive to all my requests, i.e. providing a detailed sketch of the backyard landscaping for HOA approval. I would definitely recommend Rudy for any landscaping needs. Addition: All the rain weve been getting this season has taken a toll on our landscaping unexpectedly. Rudy came to our house and fixed the areas the rain had washed away. Even though he was not at all responsible for the damages (it was just unseasonably wet this year) he responded quickly to my request and fixed our backyard at no cost. Rudy and his team are top-notch! The best! Do not hesitate to hire him! There arent many companies in todays society that would respond in such a positive and kind manner as Rudy and his team.

My review is based on the companys poor communication and follow through. Made an appointment with Rudy at 8AM on a Saturday. After waiting 20 minutes and him a no show, I called and he said hed have to check his schedule. then called back and said he thought he had texted moving the appointment to 9AM becase of rain the previous night--dont know why previous nights rain made the appointment time an issue. Discussed the project with him, he took measurements and then E-mailed him the design of my landscape architect. Since I wanted to at least schedule the job, I followed up three times over the next five days asking for a quote, with him responding he had sent it. Its easy to mis-type my e-mail so I was asking him to respond to the e-mail I sent him. Finally, I told him if he wasnt interested in my job just tell me and also provide him my work e-mail address with a request to send it there--nothing. I dont believe he ever sent anything. I would have appreciated a no from the get-go and him not wasting almost two weeks of my time setting my project back.

I had a family reunion and I knew my uncle was going to be on my case about my backyard. So I called on a Thursday and he was out the next day! Super easy to work with really. Would recommend.

The reviews look good if you can get them to show up, but as with other reviews there is the unfortunate side of poor customer service with not honoring appointments. Rudy returned my call and he asked for me to text him my address and that he would look at his schedule right away and let me know when he could come to my house to give me a quote for my project. He never called me back that day so I followed up with him the next morning. He responded and asked if I could do 8am the next day and I agreed. He text a little bit later and asked if he could change the appointment to 10am. I told him I could do 12pm and he agreed. He then text me in the morning the day of and asked if I could do 8am the following day. I let him know if he couldnt honor our appointment I would pass on his services and he never responded.

Rudy and his team did a really great job with our back yard! They were committed to seeing it through the approval process with the local government and the HOA. The prices were reasonable relative to other contractors and they worked quickly. To ensure things go smoothly make sure you have a good idea of what you want and your design is straightforward.

We are very happy with the landscape work and deck construction done by Designer & Vision Landscaping. We chose to xeriscape our large yard to keep water usage down using plant material that grows well in Colorado. The covered deck is wonderful and we couldn t be happier with the finished product. The installers and carpenters did a fantastic job and we not only appreciated their work, they were great to have onsite.

Rudy & his crew showed up early and worked hard on our project. They were very nice to have here. We are new construction on acreage, so the project focus was drainage which included burying downspouts, a very long river rock bed, a breeze path & flagstone path around the perimeter of our home - all accomplished in just 2 days and no additional expenses! I just installed my backyard. I used The Designers & Vision Landscaping. They installed stamped concrete a few days ago and there are already a lot of cracks and the whole concrete is with bubbles. The company refuses to come back and fix it. I asked Designers & Vision Landscaping if they dont want to come and fix, to give me back money so I can hire someone else to fix the concrete. They refused again. They also charged us a lot of money! Next step is reporting them to BBB and much more. DO NOT hire them! They are rude, unreliable and first thing they always ask for money! Thieves who take advantage of people! They have no idea what are they doing. Very unprofessional and 0 customer support and satisfaction. They made their employees work when it was hailing and raining outside! Even when I told them to let the guys go and come back when the weather is nicer - they made these poor guys work under the hail! They simply dont care. I made the biggest mistake hiring them. BEWARE of them! I think all the 5 star reviews are fake!

Unfortunately I had a poor experience with Rudy. Highly unprofessional, I was ghosted before getting a landscaping quote. I reached out via the website contact form and received a quick response asking for my address. Once provided, Rudy proceeded to ghost me and did not respond for 3 weeks. I checked in several times, and finally received a response with a request to meet at 4pm on Friday. Rudy did not show up, and did not communicate a change of plan. Im very disappointed after reading so many positive reviews. Would not recommend working with Rudy and team. Find someone who actually wants your business.

We hired Rudy back in March to landscape our backyard once the new home was done. Rudy and his team were able to start 3 days after we closed. Stamped patio and steps turned out great. Rock, mulch, sod and trees all look proportionate to the space. We have two oak trees that appear to be dying but Rudy is already working with the nursery to have them replaced. Rudy has been very attentive and communicated well throughout the process. Assuming that continues through the process working with the nursery we would recommend him without any hesitation.

Rudy and his team at The Designers Vision & Landscaping were absolutely amazing. They were professional, timely, and meticulous when they laid the turf down - covering up some of the haphazard concrete spillage left by the first contractor -- even cleaned up and finished some of the work left by the first. On the last day, it started raining and they were literally running back and forth over the turf trying to get it all done. Excellent response turnaround time to my multiple text messages. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Rudy and his team did a great job with our backyard. He had his guys over right away to start clearing weeds. They did the whole backyard and the patio extension with the privacy wall and a retaining wall in about two weeks. He also checked in with us to confirm what we wanted.

We hired Rudy and his crew at Designers & Vision to install our backyard landscaping. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted to do. Rudy helped provide us with a drawing to submit to city and HOA for approval and as soon as we had it, his crew was ready to bring our plan to life. We were very happy with the results and appreciated the white accent rock around our trees and walkway. Those werent details wed thought about but we were happy with the surprise. Wed talked with two other landscape install companies before hiring Rudy, and honestly, I liked what I heard and experienced with Rudy enough that I went with them over a lower bid, and didnt even get to the point where we talked numbers with the third. We were able to pay for the work in a few installments, and I always felt good about the work being done. Would be happy to recommend them or work with them again in the future. Rudy with the company is a good guy. Honest and reasonably priced when everyone other landscaper is gouging you with claims of short supplies and rising costs. That may be true but somehow Rudy gets the same job done for less and doesnt cut corners.

Rudy and his crew did an amazing job in our backyard. They were respectful of our property as they cleaned the work area each evening. They arrived early and finished as the sun set. They are hard workers that care for their customers. Rudy always made sure each decision was verified by us. His stamp work on the concrete is just what we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about Rudy and his team. We had a basic plan for our back yard that he refined and made even better. I was blown away at the quality of the work as well as the process. They installed a small guarden (with drip irrigation), french drain and leveled our back yard, a pad for our A/C units, sod, sidewalks with stamped concrete, a sprinkler and drip system, long step around our back porch, rock and a detached patio for our firepit. Rudy was always available if I had questions and has checked in several times to make sure we are satisfied. His prices were very good and the quote was the price I paid. I will have them back soon to build my back fence as well. All around a great experience.

These guys did an amazing job! My wife and I moved into a new build that had an unfinished backyard. The dirt became mud after every snow/rain storm.. Rudy helped do a huge project finishing our acre property, from weed removal, a new walkway and fire pit/patio, built in grill, and new grass/mulch. Rudy and the entire D&V team were exceptional and very professional from start to finish. They showed up on time and every time as they said they would and always gave 100% on each day. They promised our project would be done in 4-5 weeks and inspite of constant snow fall, they were still able to get done on time and on budget. Rudy is a good project manager and will keep you upated at each stage of the process and makes sure to get approval at any materials and design decision points before executing. We plan to call them back next year to build out the gazebo fireplace and for any future landscaping needs! You will not regret going with these guys!

The entire project from start to finish was about a week and a half and we couldnt be more impressed with the attention to detail and work these men create. Rudy and his crew do phenomenal work. He landscaped our backyard for our customer new build on 2.5 acres. sod, sprinklers, mulch beds, shrubs, and stone stairs. He is very reasonably priced and most importantly very good at what they do. Because they are so good, I have hired him for more jobs on my property. He is doing walkways around the front and back of the house next and will install a pergola over the built in kitchen. I would hire him again in a second!!!

They trimmed and cleaned up my trees and bushes, tore out two trees, including the stumps, replaced them with new trees and tore out dead plants and even fixed a broken sprinkler we didnt know was broken.
