Since changing my lawn service to NexGreen my lawn looks better every year. Very pleased with their service.

I would not recommend this company at all. They do not do a good job and they take your money. Killed some of my plants and did not take care of the weeds after having them come back many times. The rep that was assigned to me was rude and unprofessional.

Josh was great! He was very personable when arrived to apply lawn treatment. There was even a piece of trash that had blown into yard that he picked up and threw away. He could ve easily sprayed and left but didn t.

I previously would have given Nexgreen a decent rating but after our most recent experience, I would not recommend their services. The lawncare guy Tom today told two different stories to two different people at Nexgreen and stated that he sprayed our entire lawn. Both myself and my fiance were home and I was also working from home in our three seasons room when Tom arrived. Not only did Tom not start in our backyard as he claimed, we never once saw him approach our backyard. I then reached out to another Nexgreen employee, Russell who had always been professional and explained to him the situation. It was then apparent that Nexgreen wants to put the blame on us stating our yard is in horrible shape, we mow it too short, etc. People pay companies like Nexgreen to be the experts in their field and also should talk with customers versus accusing them of things that are not true. Having an employee lie about treating our grass and then expecting us to pay is absurd and highly unprofessional to say the least. Therefore we cannot recommend Nexgreen and will not be using their services either and is a shame because they treated my other house 7 years ago with good results.

I would like to commend the service of Chris Ellis. He was very attentive to my questions as it related to the summer heat. He suggested that it would be wise to not mow the lawn with the extreme heat, so it could retain as much water as possible until the weather breaks.

I took a year break and that year I took damaged my lawn experience so much that Im not committed to being a lifelong customer to Russell and NexGreen! He wasn t sure what it was so he took the time to FaceTime his coworker. It turns out it is a grass usually not found in Ohio is why the weed killer wasn t working. So I now have my answer. 2 years ago my yard was in sad shape.... We had a yard service but I still had a sad looking yard with a lot of weeds. Randy from NexGreen came in and got our yard looking good in no time! I recommend them to everyone I know. All my friends that use them are very happy with them! They always go the extra mile! Solid company with a great product!

I had this company for 3 years and my yard was always just ok. Nothing great, but always not as good as my neighbors. Entering this year (2024), I am finally making a change because my yard looks terrible. All my neighbors have better yards and use a different company that is significantly cheaper. See the photo of my yard compared to my neighbors. I assure you he does nothing special to his yard. He just uses a different company. I would not recommend this company to anybody. Find someone else.

This is the second year using NexGreen and I can t recommend them enough! First off, Lyle and his team are super responsive, if you have a question or concern they re more than happy to help. Rob most recently helped out and was super friendly and great to work with. He made sure our gate was locked up for our dogs, very thoughtful! Second, the treatments and pest control they provide for your lawn works incredibly well. We had a beautiful lawn last year which was perfect for our pups. Finally, after every application they give you advice in your lawn and tips for improving it even more. Definitely give NexGreen a try if you want to take your lawn to the next level.

Nexgreen is a wonderful company I like them because they use natural products that isnt harmful to my fur baby. Im also using their mosquito and other insect control for the first time. I get a lot of spiders so Im hoping that this treatment will help and that I can enjoy the great outdoors as I am allergic to both mosquitoes and spiders. Fingers crossed. I will update accordingly

Technician was excellent and asked me questions regarding my lawn damage

I needed to speak to Lucas today and I couldn t get his attention until I was in front of him. He had on AirPods apparently with noise canceling enabled and he couldn t hear me until he saw me. I needed to get his attention a second time to convey a message from my neighbor and again he couldn t hear me. I sure hope he doesn t wear the headphones when he drives. It s VERY dangerous not to be able to hear anything around you and as a customer,I found it to be somewhat rude. The lawn application was fine and he completed the work without any problems.

Good place no problems my yard looks great

Employees always polite and friendly. First year trying he mosquito spray and I haven t seen any mosquitos this year, allowing us to spend more time outside. My yard is the best on the block.

They helped my yard so much.We had bald spots in the yard and crab grass and it was a hot mess! I ve had them come 3 or 4 times (once a month) and it is so much better!!

Update to all Below: Their customer service rep reached out after my review and apologized that I was charged and removed the charges. I appreciate that this was done. This all could have been avoided by returning my initial calls and I hope they look into that failure. I also encourage more transparency that if you pay for this year they will show up next year unless you tell them to cancel your account which I found out can be difficult. - I have one requirement with any company and that is I authorize the services they provide. Nexgreen does what many lawn services do which is just show up, when they want, do what they want to and then send you bill. I talked to their sales rep a year or two ago and stated I would only prepay for a season the services I wanted. No add ons, no surprises, just do what I pay for. That was fine until he left and I didn t want service this year. Unfortunately they showed up anyway, performed services I didn t authorize, and left the bill. I had been calling since April and left messages to stop and remove the charges. They were ignored. It s July. I get a letter threatening collections. It has been a nightmare. My irrigation company I pay once a year for outlined services. My mowing company I pay once a year for mowing and mulch for the season. Pest control, easy to deal with, only do what I ask. I ve had these companies for a decade without issue. If I don t pay, they don t show up. Only these chemical companies seem to just like to show up, spray chemicals, and leave bills without any written agreement that you authorized the services. After threatening with the Ohio Attorney general I received an email that my account was closed. Their employee who stated I would only have service if I prepaid left (not my issue) and I m told their are no contracts just an agreement for ongoing service (which I did not sign). They operate by mailing you letters telling you what they will do (not what you asked for) and if you didn t tell them no then you agreed. Very common with these companies. It s a shady way to do business and worse when you can t reach people to tell them to stop.

They are very thorough and do a great job every time my yard is treated. I get an email after the job is completed telling me what they did and any tips/tricks they may have about our yard. The treatments are very affordable and worth the money.

Weve seen a big improvement in our yard since working with NexGreen. Recently laid new sod and the service technician has done great at getting it integrated with the rest of our lawn. Looks great!

I had mite damage to my burning bushes last year, all of them completely lost their leaves, this despite paying for tree and shrub services. I notified Nexgreen and they came out and said I notified them too late and that the bushes would recover and that if it happened this year to let them know ASAP so they could address it. Fast forward this year and I noticed mite damage again, this time early when just a few leaves had fallen, I notified them right away, they assured me someone would be out within the week. The week passed and nothing , I called them the following week, the office manager did not even know that they hadn t come out like she had said they would. By now the bushes had lost 50% of their leaves. I asked to speak to their service manager, they sent out someone to treat the bushes and in their invoice said, I had mite damage and that the bushes would recover next year. So to add insult to injury they charged me for a service rendered too late. I once again asked to speak to a service manager and was told I would be called the following day. The next day no response. This company presents itself as something different and better than their competitors but from what I ve experienced it s just lip service. I have had them for at least 4 years now so you would think they would value mey business as a loyal customer. Update : A service manager reached out to me and took full responsibility on how this was handled. We came to an amicable solution and will move forward with them continuing to service my lawn and trees. They made it right.

i love my yard. in 2 short years NexGreen rid me of the bag worms, saving my arborvitaes. my family and pets have enjoyed the non-toxic pesticides. the technicians are friendly and helpful, always watching for issues that can be stopped with preventative measures.

Been with NexGreen now for about four years plus have no complaints. We continuely receive compliments on how nice our lawn looks, great service.

They provide excellent service, responding promptly to any needs and maintaining a courteous staff. A solid five-star rating is well-deserved! also any time I have had issues with my trees they have come out and looked at what was going on or any weeds in the yard. Last year I had an issue as the technician as got granules on our newly sealed driveway and we were unaware because we were on vacation and it rained shortly afterwards and ate through the seal. The company was very apologetic and they paid to have my driveway resealed. Luke was very responsive and spoke with the owner and they made it right.

I find the technicians to always be professional and friendly. They LISTEN and respond to any of my questions very politely. The office staff is also very responsive and gives complete and thorough informatin.

Ive been with Nexgreen for a few years after being with someone else for a few years. I used to get phone calls trying to sell me on extra stuff 4 or 5 times though the season from (unnamed). Nexgreen is the best and has the market share in our neighborhood because most of the people have been with them for years.

We have never met anyone who was more invested in the quality, health and appearance of our yard than Russell with NexGreen. Ive never used or even heard of this company. However, they recently sent me a bill for service. Ive tried to call and get answers, but of course nobody answers the phone. This is a bad business plan.

This is my first experience with a lawn care service company and it has made a tremendous difference in the look and performance of our lawn! Nexgreen always lets me know what they have done for my lawn and it looks so good! I was home for one of the treatments and talked to the tech. He was very knowledgeable about lawn products and lawn care. Also very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!!

AERATION & OVERSEEDING, FERTILIZER, CRAB GRASS & GRUB CONTROL, and TREE TREATMENT SERVICES: We have been highly satisfied NexGeen customers for two years and our lawn has never looked better! Weve tried other lawn care services, but due to the results I resorted to attempting the work myself, until Lyle with NexGreen convinced us to give them a try. Our service technician, Andrew, is professional, knowledgeable, considerate, and friendly. He goes out of his way to move our lawn furniture and return it, and will remove downed tree limbs when distributing product. A full report is forwarded upon completion, and the children and our pets can be on the lawn within an hour. We find Nexgreen costs are also quite reasonable.

At that time I informed Russell Ellis our service tech that when I decided to have our lawn serviced by a professional company again. That I would like for him to resume servicing our lawn. This company is by far the best company to use for your yard! My grass is thicker, greener and they haven t burned my yard up with fertilizer .something 2 other companies did. They really care about doing a good job and also communicating with you! A++

The lawn care professional that treats our lawn is always willing to adjust treatment based on our needs. We have pets that we want to keep safe from any harmful chemicals and sometimes that requires treating the backyard (dogs play area) differently than the front yard. They always check with us before doing an application. Very knowledgeable, punctual and friendly.

3 years ago when they started with out lawn it was a mess. Now our lawn looks better than it ever has.. We are so proud of our lawn. This company has done a fabulous job and we would recomend them to anyone.. They are all so very nice and take time to talk with us when we need them to. They respond to all of my questions I send on email.

Bad experience for 2020 and 2021, each service was late for 2+ weeks. Recommended liquid aeration was disater for my lawn. My lawn got some bald spot after 2 years maintenance from NexGreen, so I decided to switch another company.

I used them for a few years, but canceled service this spring, 22. Constant fees yet consistently bad results, year after year. Every spring our 1 acre lawn in UA would start strong but by the middle of the season something would go down the hill, and whatever it is, it is never Nexgreens fault. Whether it is crabgrass that is unusually strong this year or some invasive insect that no one expected, a $1200+ later results would be poor. On the plus side, they do show up and do something for about 20 minutes. BTW, their billing is top notch, always on time and 100% successful. In regards to the untrue response from them below: - After cancellation, I spoke twice on the phone with Nexgreen reps, my second conversation was with someone who tried to sell me back their services, yet he immediately lost interest when I suggested that some free remedy from them would be nice, good luck buddy and he hang up on me. To sum it up, Mr. Hoke states below that they are willing to remedy the situation at no cost, but in reality, they simply tell you good luck biddy, when there is no payment coming their way. There are plenty of family owned small lawn care businesses, I suggest you pick one of those, who will appreciate your business.

I was having brown spots in the lawn all this growing season and I didnt understand why the lawn was greening up to my expectation even though it otherwise looked healthy. The lawn professional took the time to explain to me the difference in lawn grasses and I finally see how having different grasses can make a huge difference if they are growing in shade or sun. Unfortunately I have a very fine fescue in my front yard and it receives all day sun. I will aerate and seed with a more sun tolerant seed. In time I should see a difference. I appreciated the time and education shared by the lawn man.

They took time to walk me through what they do and addressed my safety concerns for our dogs, and the bunnies and groundhog that have taken up residence. We signed up for a series of visits based on our needs. They inform me of upcoming visits, and arrive exactly when they say they will. We get emails when a visit is complete detailing what was done and what will come next. NexGreen runs a tight and friendly ship that were grateful to have found.

The NexGreen Technician in my neighborhood had been stopping by my house when he would see me in my yard for about 3 years now. Hed stop by in the spring and summer to talk to me and ask about any issues i might b having with my yard and landscaping plus to tell me how his products would benefit me with some of my issues. After being so frustrated with my grass or lack of, weeds, grubs and my particular favorite the RUST fungus ! So this spring i talked to my husband and told him i wanted to try NexGreen. He said how will you get ahold of him ? I said well this is about the time of year he should be driving by. Sure enough i was in the yard and Russell Ellis from NexGreen came by. I saw his truck coming down the road so i started waving and jumping up and down to get him to pull over. He signed me up and after getting my first application on Thurs. i can already see a difference. I have 3 big babies (Labbers) who do a number on the back yard and Russell being as nice as he is with advice he told me to help with lawn burn from pee spots to try n get some water on it right away. I lawn use to b great but with us getting older and being so busy we dont get to spend the time putting down the applications ourselves plus i dont think those are as strong as a professional service like NexGreen however its organic and safe for my babies to go out on after a couple hours. I had a neighbor use another service and watched his lawn get burnt so bad it took 2 years to come back. Thank you again to NexGreen and especially Russell Ellis for being not only a great representative of NexGreen but being a great guy who genuinely wants a persons lawn and landscaping to be the best it can be ! Plus they have something new called liquid airiation which i love ! no more dirt blobs sitting on top of my grass ! i am all clay so those things actually made some bald spots after they packed down but this liquid they put on in the spring and what a difference !!! my grass is insanely thick and so happy... my neighbor n his daughter say my lawn looks like u could take a raft and float on it ! my pictures dont do it justice but none of it would b possible without Russell n NeXGeen. 1 more thing that neighbor that switched to NexGreen this year !!

I have used NexGreen for several years and have always been very pleased with their service, dependability, and the results I see in my yard. This year I removed the wooden deck in my back yard, had a concrete patio installed, then spread topsoil to fill in all the bare areas. NexGreen overseeded and aerated my entire yard, but paid particular attention to the new areas that needed seeded. The results were FANTASTIC! The grass is so thick it is almost like carpet!
