Very good business and the owner is great to work with!

For $200/mth, they barely did anything to my elderly mother s lawn. She said they were barely even there 30 minutes and just swooped through on the mower a few times and left. Never edged or weed whacked. It was just sad.

Colt showed up bright and early to aerate our yard. We had the yard aerated last year, but the company we used spent very little time and was not very thorough. Colt took his time and made several passes on our yard. He was very thorough. He spoke with me early on and was very businesslike and pleasant. I will certainly enlist their services in the future and highly recommend them.

I had high hopes for this company due to the reviews and having both mowing and fertilization options. The first couple of rounds were good, but when I needed to reach out for concerns, it was hard to reach a person and/or I was met with not much support. I think it is very dependent on who is sent to mow your lawn and if you have no issues with that person then the company is great. If you have issues or need to speak/communicate to someone then it is extremely poor. A lot of the reviews commented on a Colton providing good service. I never got Colton for mowing for my properties. I switched two properties to Sparta, received some pretty poor cuts (yard gouged, fence damage, etc), and then canceled both properties. It is one thing when issues arise that we all work together to resolve but Sparta never believed anything I reported even when I was the eye witness. I don t need to spend my money to have poor service and then have the vendor not believe me. To anyone reading this review, the fertilizer treatment was great. My lawn was super green. Sparta was much better than Trugreen who I had for 7 years. My issue is the customer service when you have issues and we had plenty on the mowing side. They debit your credit card automatically so it feels like they couldn t care less to get back to you. I ve had a service for my lawn for 7 years and never had any of the issues I ve had with Sparta over this 1 summer. It is was disappointing.

Sparta has taken my lawn from needing a comb-over to being so thick that I have to slow down when mowing (great problem to have). The Sparta team members are always friendly and stop to speak. The customer service is a model of what customer service should be.

I would not recommend this company at all due to lack of communication and reliability. I booked and confirmed an appointment with them weeks ago to have a service yesterday. The day before the service I confirmed the appointment via email and the status was shown as confirmed for service the following day. No one showed up to cut my grass or let me know that they would not be showing up. I called the office yesterday at 2pm to confirm someone would still service the lawn, and received confirmation of such but still no one showed up. Go with a different company if you actually need the job done.

Excellent service at a great price. Their communication with the customer is top notch. The crew shows up, knocks out the work and cleans up behind themselves. They even text you a heads up letting you know they are on their way. Dont waste your time filtering through the overpriced some times show up, some times dont mediocre lawn care businesses. Go with the reliable, reputable, fair priced Sparta Lawn Care!!

I have had great service with Sparta and my lawn care. The come, as scheduled and send me a text when done. I even even looking into them doing some landscaping.

Sparta was the third company I paid to remove all trees, weeds, and brush around my storage building out back. Chris and his crew completed the job properly the first time. The only reason I did not submit five stars was that it was rather pricey, but you get what you paid for!

After months of sub-standard service, inconsistency in crews and constant calls to customer service about multiple issues ( cigerette butts on the property, using a riding mower when I requested a push mower, not keeping shrubs trimmed properly, not blowing (leaves) the entire property and not showing up one week due to rain and not making up for the missed visit or getting refunded after it was brought to their attention) I gave them 5 months to get it right. At $400 dollars a month for lawn care and $65 a month for treatments you would think I should be a happy paying customer. Instead, I am a very disappointed and unhappy customer. Needless to say we have parted ways. They decided they could not offer me excellent customer care or service. If you want random crews caring for your lawn and hit or miss quality of service and your service days to change unexpectedly this company is for you. If you want consistency and quality lawn care found another company. I did.

Im writing this review for service at 200 cartgate in blythewood. Colt and his team were here today to do extensive work at this property. They were timely, very diligent and skilled. The scope of the work was broad and included tree removal, bush and limb trimming, pine straw and mow/blow. Colt is an excellent leader and communicator. He succeeded in pleasing this fussy customer! He and his team couldnt have a better job.

Sparta Lawn Care did an aeration service on my lawn this morning, and I could not be more satisfied. Technician Colt was very attentive to variations in my lawn, and took care to aerate areas that had previously been overlooked by other lawn services. Colt also took a blower to clean areas where dirt had been left by the wheels of the aerator, due to wet ground from rain earlier this morning. I will certainly use Sparta Lawn Care in the future. This service was performed in Chapin, SC.

I will say that my experience with them did not start out right, but after clearing up the misunderstanding, I have no choice than to give them what they deserve. The crew which included Channen and Calvin was on point as they did a fantastic job in satisfying my expectation. Today was the first day that Sparta lawn care came out to our home to start lawn service for us. Weve never used a lawn company before so I wasnt quite sure what to expect. Personally, were night shifters and sleep through the day so I was a little worried how today would go. But I woke up to go to work and was greeted with a perfect lawn! Both front and back yard look phenomenal. They even went as far as to blow all my pinestraw off my driveway and deck, and mulched my front flower bed with it which I love and think is so above and beyond. They also left my pinestraw neatly piled around my larger trees and behind my deck which I like as Im starting my vegetable and flower garden soon and I like to use that for mulch. Overall an absolutely wonderful experience and Im so happy to move forward with service

From first contact to job done took all of three business days, so Sparta is very responsive. Colt just finished up some shrub trimming for me and it looks great. I noticed today water running down the street and found it it was coming from my lawn right near a sprinkler head and since we have had several days of below freezing cold, I thought it must be my sprinkler system. I called Sparta Lawn care and they sent someone out in a little over an hour. Colt turned off the water to my house but the water running from my yard didn t slow down so we determined that it was a city problem. Colt was just the nicest guy! And I was impressed with his willingness to dig up the wet ground to verify it was not a broken sprinkler pipe. He was friendly and informative, despite being wet up to mid thigh and wet on his arm practically to his armpit in about 50 degrees! And he was very considerate. I will definitely use them again!
